Caleb, You need to do a video where guys get to ride your sled briefly at the clinics and feel the Ohlins shock difference like I did and then speak to it on camera. Running a full set this year and it is because of getting to ride yours last season.
How about a fireside chat kick it up a notch, excellent in depth explanation from the workshop is and always will be appreciated thanks for your generous time
Super informative video actually. That sled was sick, and you crushed riding it. I think the builds are neat, but many of us on a more generally basic budget and abilty level....a few less chute to 270s with an upside down hopover wheelie re-entry - if you know what i mean 😊. Steve Martin recently did a video about buying an economy model sled that most could afford, and i think he is on to something there. Itd be fun to see you rip a couple pro-Kesterke days on a stock, cheaper modeled sled between the epic sled videos your normally producing. And I hope you and Matt get back out there together. Those were good-vibe vids.
Awesome video! I really enjoyed the thoughts and discussion on what worked for you. I also appreciate how you don't just buy every aftermarket part available to throw on your sleds. It makes it clear that you can't buy your way into being a good rider, it takes skill and practice.
Completely agree, there is just amazing talent with Caleb. Obviously every aftermarket parts maker wants him to attach their products but people need to get out and ride before we add every accessory made before the sled will function properly (less those damn Poo clutches, lol!). These newer sleds are amazing right out of the box, they just need the right rider to tell it what to do.
Doing mods can be a lot of fun but a bone stock sled is extremely capable. More of just an option to mix it up and make your sled more specific for your needs
Inspiring! You’re the best at what you do. I love the videos and I’m looking forward to seeing what this season brings for all of us! Keep em coming Caleb.
You keep saying it's the 146 and 155 boost sleds that are absolutely out of control, but I think it's less the sled and more the driver 😂 You whip and throw it around like it's nothing, epic riding
I think it’s amazing and you are amazingly talented and would love to ride with you someday and have you teach me more one on one lessons and makes me happy and want to stick with a 155 325 sled for now
You need to colab with CboysTV. Their from Minnesota and they love Polaris, ditch banging and mountain riding out west. Their the guys that broke the Revy snow gauge sign. They need riding lessons from the best and that's you.
@@Cummins2519 You have no idea what Caleb wants. They are the same age. CBoys have 4 million subscribers and they make bank off of RUclips and merch sales. They also signed with Polaris last year.
@boddysurfer they might be the same age but the cboys act 10 years younger. Caleb's content is geared more towards and older audience wanting to learn. Cboys makes content for kids. That is my point. I see no benefit for someone like Caleb to collab with them.
@@boddysurfer I guess to grow his channel it would be good but that would be the only reason. They really do nothing but spend a bunch of money then wreck shit for no real reason and then hoot and holler like 17 year olds. lol Unless that’s just an act for the camera which it probably is.
Hell yeah best of both worlds! Selling your old sled and buying a new one this season. Struggling to decide boost or 9r. I feel the 9r might make me a better rider, worried ill start depending on track speed and not progress at technical riding.
@@CalebKesterke part of it is shipping costs for the powder, but they inflate and overstate it. The other part is just because they can; there's only so many powdercoaters in the area and they are ALL slammed, even at these prices. Good to know about tuning (I did SLP clutches on both my '21 Khaos 850 and '24 Khaos 9r though). I'm considering a turbo kit for my '21 Khaos but not sure yet. Rumors are pretty strong about Polaris snow check options this spring...and there's only a handful of times each year we ride above 5000' and wish I had a turbo sled.
I see, that makes sense! I used to do clutching on my 850s but since Polaris came out with the P22 on Boosts and 9Rs I've been leaving it stock and I've been happy
@@CalebKesterke I'm larger than the average rider (6'2, 265) and have found replacing the helix with a more aggressive ramp helps me tremendously...but you're right, the OEMs have done a TON of R&D.
Im thining about building my 155 to 146 because of norwegian snow packs are most of the time terrible. Is it necessary to shorten the tunnel, or will it be fine as its already a "shorty".
Ohh yeah I wasn't following until now. I would've asked them to but I didn't want to be without parts for any longer than I had to. You can tell in the videos. lol

Thanks for watching and supporting!
A normal person couldn't climb a driveway with that setup, you make it look so easy.
This is why we all love Caleb! Another banger informative video thank you legend
Thanks for watching man!
Can confirm, that sled looked and performed great.
First hand experience seeing it in action
That was a super fun day up Boulder

Haha, maybe it is rider error
i built a 146 boost too last year…. soo good its crazy
Fastest mountain sled out there
love you man awesome
Awesome video. Really like the insight of the different configurations you ran last season.
It was fun trying them, thanks for watching!
That thing was rowdy. Enjoyed watching your stuff all year, I’d build another if I was you.
Doing a 165 build this year! There's a good chance it'll end up with a 146 track at some point though
That is kind of my Plan. 155 boost then buy the 165 suspension and just swap out on the deep days. Another banger vid Caleb
Smart idea!
Beautiful sled the Christmas khaos😮
Christmas Khaos. The perfect name for that sled

My M770 147” 3” is scheduled for delivery today. Really looking forward to the 3” and going down to 147”
Sounds very rowdy
5:20. ran into this issue with alternative impact arms + elevate spindles. absolute PITA to get them in and out.
That can be really frustrating
Really Tric,,Sled🇺🇸🇺🇸✌️✌️👍👍
Fun stuff!🎉
great vid, where almost into winter 🤘
I can't wait to get the season started!

Nice
Badass dude! Very cool build!
So sick! Whats the plan for this season? You sticking with a boost or going to a 9r?
155 Boost as my daily driver and a 146 9R for harder snow days and spring
Hell yeah best of both worlds! Selling your old sled and buying a new one this season. Struggling to decide boost or 9r. I feel the 9r might make me a better rider, worried ill start depending on track speed and not progress at technical riding.
Да отличные проходки на поларисе 👍✔️🆙
Do a 9r boost 146!! Hahaha
caleb what paint did you use after you cut the tunnel on the tip of the tunnel?
Can confirm that a 146 turbo does not automatically make you be able to do wheelie hop overs😅
But it does make it easier to try them
What do you call that type of reflective wrap? Thats awesome!
It's a chrome vinyl! ArcticFX makes it - Wrap ID #27225
Who makes the 147 3" you were talking about?
We went from 175 to 146 in what 5 years? Wild
Funny how it's always changing! The riding style has changed enough that shorter sleds are working really good
Caleb, greetings from Russia 🤝 Please, shoot a video where and how you attached the camera to the helmet 🙏
Good idea! I'll see what I can do to shoot a video about the camera setup!
To live in Montana...that powdercoat would EASILY be well over $1k here in Alaska.
Edited to ask if you did any tuning on the boost, or left it stock.
That's wild, I don't really understand why it would be so much more expensive to powdercoat there
No tuning or clutching. Stock works so good

You don't have to shorten the tunnel. The 155 slash tunnel works pretty good with a 146 track under it
Is this current snow conditions right now
This was filmed throughout last winter
If by "now" you mean last season, then yes. Otherwise, no. 😀
