Shout out to the Production Team. That piece on Turbo or No Turbo was crystal clear. I would love to see a drag race with all the engine options side by side then on a trail circuit . Light weight 600 or the Mother Load 9R ? Another question is the longevity of each option ? Thank you. Dale

The Trump train has a Polaris v-16 2 stroke at 850 CID per cylinder and turboed to make 13,500 hp @ 1150 rpm's. thats 13,600 CID and has 430 gallons of amsoil interceptor oil on board and burns liquid hydrogen! its hard to stop a 2 stroke trump polaris liberty powered 2 stroke train!

Mistake. Mine has virtually zero lag. And now with a tune and clutching it’s insane. 220 hp. 15 lbs of extra weight. And no compromise. Everything else feels boring now.
Only if planning on staying totally stock I’d consider a 9R. Even then I’d lean to the boost

7 percent increase in power for the 9r over the 850? Might as well just keep your 850 amd tune it out. Whats that, like 11hp?

A well clutched 850 will outperform a stock 9R. The 9r is a flop in my opinion. Dealers full of holdovers.
Boost price for NA 850 performance.

I'm talking a flop in sales volume. Dealers are full of 2023 holdover 9R 155s, try and find a holdover boost that isn't a 165.

@@Drew-in-NoDak No "well clutched" n/a 850 will outperform a 9r without significant additional mods...and even then it won't. Having both in my garage, the 9r is an entirely different animal than a n/a 850...incomparable. Your two hours is showing.
As far as your holdover comment, there are so many '24 hold-overs due to the prior covid-related shipping problems solved in combination with increased production....and most people questioned Polaris' (and Skidoo's) ability to get sleds to the buyers. After all, no one wanted to get their"new" sleds in February.

Maybe Polaris should stop focusing on winning races, and start winning and reliability, and taking care of their customers. Polaris knows how to make a real good operating machine in all of their departments. Now figure out how to build a machine that can be at least as reliable as Honda and Yamaha. Polaris needs to have a better team that investigates these machines better, instead of selling them to the public and letting the public be the dumb guinea pigs.
