    Who monitors the log the DOT? How can they tell what you have been doing and not doing? They check the log and you have to explain?

    I'm starting to hate trucking I got 7 weeks in.
    Log books weigh scales,loads that have to be at a certain time.but I can't make it on time because I have to sleep 10

    Check your 30 min break rules. You cited the old rules. Under the revised rules, you have to take your 30 min break after 8 cumulative hours driving time, and can be satisfied by any status other than driving. WLBS

    In reality, the personal conveyance was put in to help shippers/receivers to hold up trucks and take the responsibility off them. In other words, to screw the driver.

      Hey Rob they are good trucks but in my personal opinion I would get a peterbilt our w900 they are just strong trucks and if you want them to last you need a caterpillar motor 😉 but that's just my opinion thanks for the support God bless and stay safe

    if you take 30 minutes to fuel is your 30 minute break.. you dont have to take one hour..

    Can’t u take ur 30 min brake while u fule 15 on duty filing and then take 15 off duty combined and that Count as ur 30 min brake??

      Nop when you are pumping fuel you have to be on on duty so if it take you 15min to put fuel you still have to take your 30min of off duty and that is a total of 45min

      Yes you can they changed that it’s new law they signed in late 2020 most ELD will do it by self when you fuel and then go off duty 15/15 or 10/20 minutes
