    Fun fact. You could get compact chest seals and add it to the pouch for almost no extra space.

    Thank you Chad. I've been looking a video on LTC for a minute now. I was the fence about it.

    California does not allow gun carrying so I carry pepper spray and multi purpose defense tactile pen and a simple med kit

    @m.a.1594 5 лет назад

    This video is very important, I know people think this is a paid advertisement but the point of this is not for you to spend whatever amount of money, you can make your own medkit if you want, the point here is for you to have it.

    Hey Chad. Love your videos. Have you ever tried an ankle carry for an IFAK? I want to carry on my ankle and am looking for something that is really comfortable, even in the heat, stays put and keeps the contents in the pouches when you are really active, hiking , running, etc. Would you be willing to do some trials and reviews? I'ld be super interested in your opinion.

    I liked the informal way the video was done and the only thing was a comment about lighting at the end. Keep up with the high production stuff and the informal stuff. It’s all good!

    Gun owners: $75 medkit? No fkn way dude.
    Me: $50 for an extended mag that will probably break and add 3 rounds to my total capacity which have the same chances of being shot out of the gun as me being born twice. No way dude.
    A $100 sights for my gun that have the benefit of not breaking after I spend $550 on a gun, fuck that shit all the way.
    Gun owners: you sound crazy. Dont know nothing about guns.
    Okay guys 😂😂

      I know right? The celox bandage alone is $30. People spend thousands and guns and ammo, which I’m all for, but it’s likely they’ll never need them. You’re probably 10 times more likely to use medicsl equipment.

    How much would that kit contents price out at? Because if it's like $20-$25. Then your paying $50 plus for a pouch. That price has got to come down. I like the kit but damn....

    • @deltagiorgio
      @deltagiorgio 5 лет назад +1

      The gloves are like 5. The celox is about 30 to 35. The seat t is about 15 and you could get the Band-Aids and alcohol pads etc for about 2 bucks at a dollar store. All summed up is about 55 to 60 depending on prices. The pouch itself is being sold for about 37 bucks and the hole thing it's like 70 if you think about it it's a good price for all that it comes with

  • @JohnW-yv6yp

    What’s with everyone complaining that this is a ripoff? Medical stuff is expensive, and this kit holds everything together. That celox bandage is expensive, all together that’s probably $45-$50 of medical stuff in his hands.

  • @jaynic1420
    @jaynic1420 5 лет назад +1

    not for $75. they have to find away to get the cost down......

    • @TangoGulf
      @TangoGulf 5 лет назад +2

      The pouch is $34...and then you can build it yourself. That's what I did. But Hemostatic agents aren't cheap unfortunately.

    • @JohnW-yv6yp
      @JohnW-yv6yp 5 лет назад

      I think it’s a better deal to buy it stocked. If the pouch alone is $34, but the medical stuff inside is about $50.

      @@JohnW-yv6yp yeah I just didnt care for the swat t tourniquet. Rather have a CAT

    • @JohnW-yv6yp
      @JohnW-yv6yp 5 лет назад

      True, I’d prefer the CAT as well, but a cat won’t fit in such a small pouch. If I was wearing cargo pants, I’d put s cat in 1 cargo pocket and this in the other. In any type of bad situation, a spare tourniquet can’t hurt. Ideally I’d also want a pressure bandage, but the swar can work as a pressure bandage in a pinch, something other tourniquets can’t do.

    • @TangoGulf
      @TangoGulf 5 лет назад

      @@JohnW-yv6yp I typically have my cat in a backpack which I always have with me. I get that some people don't have a backpack on them like I do so that's a good point. And I didn't think of it as a pressure bandage too not a bad idea. I might add a swat just as an extra at some point. But as far as price might be better off to get the bundle like you originally said. Med supplies aren't cheap though, its the sad truth.

    I’m all for people carrying med kits and all sorts of stuff like that but if you’re carrying something you need to know how to use it. If you can honestly admit to yourself that you might blank on how to use something in your kit then you need to learn how to properly use it. Other than that good video

  • @preelenede

    I could go in the 99cent store and get the band aid kit and I’d be 1/3 away from completing this ridiculously priced item.

    • @JohnW-yv6yp
      @JohnW-yv6yp 5 лет назад +2

      $30 for celox rapid ribbon, $10 for swat tourniquet. Wound closure strips, iodine wipes, bacitracin ointment, idk how much all that stuff costs. And the kit holds it all together in a pocket size package.

  • @lifescholar7130

    • @JohnW-yv6yp
      @JohnW-yv6yp 5 лет назад

      @deltagiorgio this guy gets it. $50 of medical supplies, so the pack itself is only about $20 when you think about it.

  • @rydeen450

    Those knee side cargo pockets suck have you ever walked more than 30 feet with something in there? It just bashes you in the side of your knee every step. So I learned from this video I should get some Band-Aids, a tourniquet and alcohol/iodine wipes to put in a plastic baggy in my pocket or fanny pack instead of giving them an 80% profit. It is smaller than the other pack but man that's so simple for so much. I guess you can tell I'm not rich but dang..

    • @JohnW-yv6yp

    Med kit, really? Why not wear a bulletproof vest every where? I can understand having a med kit in your vehicle. Carrying it on your person is completely not necessary and unpractical

    • @rydeen450
      @rydeen450 5 лет назад

      I could see having one only in very specific situations including hiking with a bag or something when help isn't near.

    • @JohnW-yv6yp

      You think carrying a gun on you is necessary but medical gear is unnecessary? Explain to me how much more likely you are to need your gun vs to patch up a cut. Also, if the bleeding is bad enough to require a tourniquet, they’ll probably bleed out in 3 minutes. Going to your car on the other side of a parking lot or whatever and coming back in time to save someone isn’t happening. And

    • @tjbeckman8232
      @tjbeckman8232 4 года назад

      Matt Kay, I carry medical in the car as well. But a femoral artery bleed leaves you unconscious in a minute and thirty seconds. Time may not allow that trip. You find yourself or a loved one in the middle of a mall, may not make it. Of course your can improvise, but hands on training will quickly show you the correct tools make the job easier.
