honestly speaking, i learnt more than all the previous 5-10 videos I've watched over the previous 2 months. i found this video extremely helpful and your calm, sweet voice just made everything all the more enjoyable to learn - thank you very much for making this video. i love your illustration^^ !
I was going to write something similar, but you made my point so well, I just liked your comment! I have not even finished the video yet, but I had to stop to express my appreciation for it. Thank you Sunako. I will subscribe after I finish typing this and I am looking forward to viewing your other videos as well.
I'VE BEEN USING CLIP STUDIO PAINT FOR 9 FUCKING Y E A R S AND I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD ADD MORE MANIPULATION POINTS TO A MESH TRANSFORMATION GRID. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU'VE CHANGED MY LIFE, BRO
As an Illustrator who struggle with program changes, this tutorial is gold. Seriously, thank you so much for this amazing video. This is so calm and nice, you made me give a try to Clip Studio. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. PS: I hate lineart in digital art too...I never feel satistied with the results
You are the light at the end of a dark murky cave, oh my god learning how to do digital art on my own was so difficult but you were there to guide me. Now I shall use these shortcuts and tips to make my journey a little easier😭😭 Thank you so much and beautiful drawing😁🙏🙏
Usually I find tutorial videos incredibly boring and I end up trying to figure stuff out by myself. But you have such a gentle voice and just go straight to the point that I actually followed the tutorial closely! I really loved that you bookmarked the video so we could go back and rewatch specfic parts that needed refreshing! Thank you so much!
I've been using csp for like a year now, and this is the most helpful tutorial for it I have ever seen. I seriously didn't know almost anything, and I thought I was doing pretty good all by myself! The art came out beautiful, too :)
This is the most comprehensive beginner tutorial for CSP. I learn a lot from your video that I can't find in bunch of others youtube videos. Tips, trick even the small thing means a lot to me. Thanks again. Wish you all the best and God blesses every step in your life.
I've been using CSP on and off the past few months but because I've been used to draw in Photoshop I've never really gotten into CSP until now. This tutorial was really insightful, I definitely learned a few new things watching this. Thank you so much for sharing your tips and tricks!
I am new to Digital Art and haven't drawn much of anything in almost 2 decades. I got Clip Studio Art as a free trial with the WACOM PAD for Xmas. And I just want to say that I find your tutorial very easy to follow and understand. And you make it look easy, even the more advanced features. While I know I need to slowly get used to the program, you can rest assured, I will come back and reference your video for help. Thank you for making this video. Stay safe and happy! And beautiful Elf at the end.
this is how you are supposed to make a tutorial. there is some more information that i personally would of like to have known (mainly in the actual drawing part) but i like how you explained everything in a consise manner. it is shocking how many other tutorials just dont do that.
For years I've been struggling to know what is mask layer(didn't really deeply researched it) but you just easily explained it. You're a life saver. The way you explained everything makes it so easy to understand
Even though I don’t have Clip Paint Studio your art in the thumbnail caught my eye, and since I’ve been struggling with painting digitally I decided to watch this to learn your process (since I really liked the style). This video actually motivated me to draw (which is great since I’ve been having art block), so thank you for this tutorial! 💖

So personally. I say this is indeed a beginners guide to cps. But more on the end of the beginner entering into the next stage and doing a recap of what they already learned about the software and explaining how they made their art. Still useful and a video I would watch again when I'm already good and using all of cps settings and such.

I love this process. Ive always struggled with line art, between fighting between light dainty lines or bold lines with various weight, and then losing the “life” from the sketch after adding line art, then trying to color around it- this seems like it would feel a bit more natural and help retain the life of the sketch. So Thank you thank you THANK YOU for this!
I been rewatching this tuto a few times and I would love to ask you if it’s possible to see a more detailed painting and lineart tutos in the future. About the painting one, it would be amazing to see how to make color bending look smooth and beautiful and where do you recommend to use hard brushes or airbrushes. I’m practicing with cell shading atm but when I try to bend colors my drawings look just horrible :’) In the lineart tuto would be interesting to see how to line-weight lines (not tecnically, I mean the artistic way). This is probably the most helpful video I’ve found on clip studio paint (like the actual software). I feel like I can make art better now that I actually know some tools I can use :D
excellent tutorial. just got csp today. this was very helpful. hope to get close to your talent one day. very beautiful work.
Very nice. I've been using clip studio for a few months now and knew I was missing out on auto actions, this was very helpful!
For vector layers, I like to use pen set on transparent to help sculpt my lines since eraser tool doesn't work 😁
