One of the best Clip Studio tutorials I've ever seen and explains the fill tool so much better than Iv'e heard. I've been using it for a long time, but this will help immensely. I learned a bunch of new, useful stuff. Thank you, Nadia.

Watching your video is like working a giant field with just your hands and then looking over your shoulder and suddenly seeing actual farm machinery. Not even joking this will all save me many hours of work and I wish I looked this up sooner. Thank you so much! Got a sub from me!
I’ve used CSP for about 5 years now and I can’t believe how much my mind was just blown all because it never occurred to me to look at fill tool properties.
Amazing guide! I had no idea how people were coloring so efficiently in this program (I was basically doing it by hand), this is incredible and makes me more excited to really improve my drawing. Thank you so much for the guide!
I had such a hard time letting go of Photoshop for some reason. But then I realized it was probably because I was just afraid to dive into something new and leave something comfortable behind. Now I'm only frustrated that I didn't go to CSP sooner 😅 It makes such a difference to work in a program that was specificly designed for artists!
Another tip when using the fill bucket tool: Hold down and drag your cursor across your line art and it will fill all the areas you drag to. Much easier than clicking 10 times on each enclosed area. Additionally, similar to the "connected pixels only" part at 16:51 ,but with even more control: Say you only want to change half of your blue areas to red. Start your cursor in a blue area, hold and drag the fill tool over those blue areas and it will change them to red. CSP will intelligently know you only want to change that blue hue and will ignore all other colors as you drag your cursor around the page.
Wow! I don't think I've ever sat through a more informative, smooth flowing tutorial dedicated to the usage of a single tool! Seriously those were incredible if not game-changing tips, even for my amature works! Thanks a bunch! 😄👍

An excellent Video! Clear speech and you show in close up where to go in the tool bars to find the functions you describe. Thank you Nadiaxel! I'm switching from Photoshop after 20 years. I've tested other software but find that CSP understands the needs of an illustrator. A tip from me on selecting: Sometimes its quicker to go around an area with the lasso leaving some space. You can then shrink the selection to the intended area by subracting with the magic wand selector on minus. Super drawing, by the way! I'll seek out your other tutorials.
This was so UNBELIEVABLY HELPFUL! I've never coloured my works because it took to long and never looked good. I tried the fill tool but would just end up getting a full page of colour. Now I know what to do to properly use the tool! Thanks Nadia!

Changed from Photoshop to CSP last year and its such a HUGE help! Especially the fact that you can drag 3D items and models into your 2D canvas for easy reference^_^ Oh and of course the fact that you can have a sub view of your actual reference...
The 3D models were actually my first motivation to use CSP 😆 They're SUPER helpful. And now that they released Primitives, it has made my life so much easier! Sometimes I just spend hours building poses and sometimes I upload them to the asset store. This software just has it all. Thank you so much for watching 🥰

bless this video, i recently moved over from medibang to csp and felt like i was constantly wrestling with the fill tool because mb had such a simple one
This was the most entertaining, professional and helpful tutorial I have ever seen! 😊 I especially liked the part where you said "what you see, is what the fill tool sees", that was such a neat and simple way to explain it! Thank you for spending so much time on making this tutorial! ❤
So glad you are back! Your channel got me into digital drawing (and drawing in general, to be precise) back in 2019 and it's been such a journey for me since then. There's this whole artistic side I never explored and your tutorials were the catalyst for wanting to begin. This last year I also transitioned out of Photoshop, but into Krita, which I'm very comfortable with. I may have to give CSP a shot if you keep up these vids :)
One thing that helped me so much in using the fill tool (and coloring in general) is by using vector layers for the linework! This made it so that it will be more accurate and much less necessary to constantly tweak my settings, because vector lineart uses a mathematical path for the linework. As long as you check the 'fill up to vector path' tickbox and make sure that you set up your vector lineart as reference layer, you can easily color it in!
Incredible. This is a really really good tutorial. Your explanations were very succinct and explained what they needed to very well. I didn't realize how great the fill tool is in clip
I bought CSP around 4 years ago but I couldn't get to change to it from SAI for all that time. Lately I finally made a step forward and finished my first very simple piece in it. This video turned out to be very, very helpful as I had some troubles with the fill tool. Great thanks!
Thank you so much! This video helped me a lot! As someone coming from Firealpaca where you use the paint bucket tool and the section you want just fills, it was nice to have a break down of CSP paint bucket tool! I will definitely be saving time, thank you so much!
My first ever comment on RUclips. I have just started an offline CS course and since the class speed is fast I sometimes do not get everything in. Turned to YT for clues and HOLY SHIT this is a good video. Subscribed instantly.
i already knew mos tof these (the hard way) but clarification on a couple options and specifically hwo to use the enclose and fill and fill unpainted areas was epic!! its gonna make my colour work SO much easier

I've been trying to figure out how artists do that in speed paints for ages! Thank you so so much!
HI UR BACK⭐️⭐️
YAASSS I AM 💖 Thank you for coming back her >w
wow, csp has been my goto for years and there's so many things on the fill tool alone I was either using wrong or didn't know about. thank you so much!
hey welcome back, I miss you a lot!, thanks for another amazing tutorial
I love the energy and subtle humour in your videos. Thanks for doing what you do. :D
bless this video, i recently moved over from medibang to csp and felt like i was constantly wrestling with the fill tool because mb had such a simple one
Awesome tutorial! And welcome back Nadia!!
I had no idea you could do that with the fill tool. I was magic wanding my lines to fill the colors on another layer. This is SO MUCH QUICKER!
This was the most entertaining, professional and helpful tutorial I have ever seen! 😊 I especially liked the part where you said "what you see, is what the fill tool sees", that was such a neat and simple way to explain it! Thank you for spending so much time on making this tutorial! ❤
This stuff blew my mind when I switched from Photoshop. CSP will be my go-to for my art-related needs from now on.
Thank you so much for this kind of information. It’s makes it a lot easier for me to finish my artwork/animation twice as fast now.
aaaaa I'm super happy you found the video useful C: Thank you so much for watching 💝
You just saved me so many agonizing minutes in the future 😭💜 thank you so much
OMG never thought I would see some kind of this video that very understandable.
Thanks a lot miss, This is really helpful.
Best fill tools tutorial ever, hands down, thank you!
so you're telling me, i could of been easily coloring in my art THE ENTIRE TIME! (
One of the most useful 18 minutes of my life, thanks!
Hands down these are the best and most helpful CSP tips I have found. Awesome job!
This just utterly changed my whole workflow. Thank you for the hours of headaches you have just saved future me. Excellent tutorial!
I bought CSP around 4 years ago but I couldn't get to change to it from SAI for all that time. Lately I finally made a step forward and finished my first very simple piece in it.
This video turned out to be very, very helpful as I had some troubles with the fill tool.
Great thanks!
I’ve used PS all my years as an illustrator. Now this is starting to convince me to transfer entirely to Clip Studio. Thank you for this tutorial!
Thank you so much! This video helped me a lot! As someone coming from Firealpaca where you use the paint bucket tool and the section you want just fills, it was nice to have a break down of CSP paint bucket tool! I will definitely be saving time, thank you so much!
This is to sum up, the best tutorial Ive seen about this tool, dayum, now Im pumped to start filling some areas xD
Holy crap, I've wasted my life lol - this is such a convincing video to move to Clip Studio Paint! I'll definitely try to play with the program more after seeing all this. Thanks so much - it's super helpful.
aaaa you're welcome! You can always just try a trial version first and see if you like it >w< thanks for watching!
