    For any new comments:
    - "You don't have to pay monthly" is still true, cause perpetual (forever) licenses still exist and they're the first option you see when you click buy. Stop trying to be a smart arse
    - Version 3 is now out, which supports audio scrubbing with animation!

    Some notes for some FAQs:
    - You're ONLY limited to 24 frames in the PRO version, not the EX! The EX version is worth it if you want to animate more
    - This is real cheap for software! This is nowhere near adobe, toon boom and maya prices u sillies

    • @bananathewolf5589
      @bananathewolf5589 3 года назад +27

      ignore me if this question is answered in the video, i havent fully watched yet. But is there a way to add in sound to the animation process so it can be timed with sound?
      edit: also, does the EX version have any sort of animation time limit? or is that unlimited (side note the pro version sounds lame from only 24 frames)

    I’m what you’d probably call, a Traditional Artist, but I’ve always wanted to try doing it on Computers. Though one of my ideas for a project right now would be doing an old fashioned Cel Animation for a project in my school. This showed me some useful information for said project, thank you

    I've been working on CSP EX for quite a while now and it's super nice, but sometimes I get a little anxious when it comes to animation, so it gives me a little bit of reassurance knowing I'm on the same page.
    16:04 I once had to work on a project and other method I recommend for this is clipping an animation folder or clipping a regular folder for illumination effects, just in case anyone wants to keep the base colors folder intact.
    Awesome tutorial, I love it.

    The division line is that line at the 6, 12, 18, 24 (every 6 frames) on the timeline. i think it’s just a reference to help visually break up the timeline into manageable chunks
