    Thank you - clear as day. I can’t believe I did this by myself. I just accomplished this with my frame. It was so annoying that I couldn’t sleep and always getting cricks in my neck!! Now that I’ve done this I can rest peacefully again. Thank you for this information. I didn’t know if I was going to get a new bed or not! I appreciate this

    You are our hero!! We don’t have a remote for our bed any more and some time during the day, it lifted itself up. We are going to follow your instructions and pray we don’t have to sleep in our recliners.

    I spent $150 on a matching remote that did not make the feet part of my bed go down. This video solved this problem for me relatively quickly and without having to ask anyone else for help! Thank you!

    Thank you! I have slept with the head end lifted for over a year! Sparks came from motor so I was afraid to plug it back in. I tried the 8v battery override. Nope.
    I put the mattress sideways so there’d not be much weight on the base if it fell. To be extra safe, I put pillows between the frame and the base. I remove the pins and it went down, easy-peasy!
    I miss my adjustable frame, but I’m happy to be lying flat again!

    Any tips on how a 70 year old woman with osteoporosis of the back can tilt the frame by herself without having to hire/pay someone to do it. I tried to wriggle under the bed but I don't fit. Could a few car jacks work? I just have to get to the box. I'm a bit fearful of getting crushed though. I don't have the physical strength to lift it myself. I can't risk another collapsed vertebra either.
    I think these beds might be a poor choice for seniors on a budget who can't lift such heavy frames or fit under them. Putting that stuff under the bed is a significant design flaw for people without friends and families. Just a consideration before you buy. Ideas anyone? Ideas that don't take more than 20 bucks from my budget please. I don't think it would have to go 45' tilt but just enough to let me under...a foot ot so. Would I need cinder blocks for safety crash prevention? and would I need a jack for each section of the bed (3)?

      You should be able to lift the top half of you platform bed you then can use something to keep it propped up so it don't fall back after you do as he has shown My bed is stuck I'm about a 3 + inch lift and my neck and ares are terribly painful after months of this np remedy What needs to be placed under there is like what they make to keep car hoods up That needs to be worked in the design You are right that is a flaw toward self help or for the pros It's impossible getting in touch with manufacturers er 30 min on phone on hold I hung up tomorrow another day. The base company makes the mattress seller look bad bc they don't give much help after that You are right they are so heavy you can't break it down by yourself only solution is take the motor and mechanism apart once you can get someone to hold the base part up from falling back or down Mine is 3in stuck I need the thing lifted and held either way its a 2 person job?too heavy to rest on your arm or should er to get down their too heavy to turn the unit on its side

    My Serta won't go up but the massager works fine with the remote. I have a battery operated remote. I really need for the head and foot part to work again. In the past if I left it alone and once in awhile when I tried it would happen to work a time or two. What do you think is going on with it? Thank you.

    Hi. What do I if my adjustable lumbar support is stuck in the up position. My bed is now shaped like a V. The other features controlled by the remote on the bed work. I have tried unplugging and plugging the bed back in. I have checked the remote batteries and I have looked under the bed to try to see if everything is plugged in.

    My adjustable bed just stopped working last week. I've only had it since Feb. I tried replacing the batteries in the remote, unplugging and replugging in, as well the same but into a different outlet. I was using a surge protector as indicated with purchase. I am not sure what happened or what else to try. Can you help?

    The pillow-tilt adjustment is stuck in the up position on a two day old L&P Prodigy 2.0...can I test whether it is motor or box by switching with one of the other motor plugs or does pillow-tilt motor have a different voltage?

    • @theadjustablebeddoctor4300
      @theadjustablebeddoctor4300  6 лет назад

      Barry Druhan you need to call L&P and have one of our techs come out and repair. While covered under warranty, I’d advise you to NOT switch plugs and test. Yes, voltage may be different so let a tech repair it.

      Victor Moran , It sounds like the foot motor has failed and will need replaced. A simple test by switching the motor plugs around on the control box will confirm if the motor or control box is bad. Call us @ 615-336-2875 if you need more personalized service and help.

    Thanks Keith.. my bed squeaks when I put it up and down. I’m 73 and live alone so I won’t be able to flip it over like you did on this video. But before I spend money to get a repairman out here what do you suspect the problems is. Something a little WD40 can fix.

    • @theadjustablebeddoctor4300
      @theadjustablebeddoctor4300  5 лет назад +2

      I do not believe you'll need a repairman for that. But you'll need to isolate the squeak and use ONLY a silicone lube. WD40 is water based and won't work too well. Good Lick!
