I have a Leggett and platt power base that quit working after unplugging it, and it has not reset button. Any advice?

I have that first remote you mentioned. Thought batteries were dead tonight. Put new ones in and all buttons started to flash for like 15-20 seconds then nothing. Only button that does anything during this time is the head massage on/off. Any ideas?

I have removed the pin. I fixed the problem with the reote... And when i put the motir again... The bed did not aline.

My Sleep Number Split King with adjustable base is 6 years old. Today, I received an E5 error code on remote. I called Support and they are insisting it is the power box. After I started troubleshooting I was able to get the left side to work. When hitting the reset button on the box, I can hear the left side making adjustments but not the right. They still insist it is the box. Any thoughts? Maybe it's the power receptacle/rocker switch?

Thank you! This worked for me and I was getting hopeless. I took the cover off the control box and pushed the cords in better.

Do you know where the serial number for the flex fit bases are on the base itself? I lost the registration card and need support from sleep number and they won't help until I give the bed base serial number. 😮

I have an HJC 26. The bed is not working. The control box, under the bed, has a power indicator light. That light isn't on. Does this mean my control box is bad?

UPDATE- I have Sleep number flex fit remote (2nd white remote in video) and the buttons mentioned in the video did not work. I called Leggett and Platt and had to use HEAD UP and FLAT at same time.

Do these beds have a manual tool to lower the head. The motor is making a grinding noise so something will need to be replace. In the meantime is there a tool to manually move until repaired?

I have the 191-000450 series. I pressed the wired remote, the bed kept rising up and now won't go back down. The bed has 2 functions, head up or down. The blue light is still on, On the remote

The head of my bed moves but stops about 10 degrees short if flat. Not binding and have tried every hack short of this. Will give it a try.

Hi Doc. I was hoping you could help me figure out what bed I have to begin with. My daughters bought it as a gift and there was no remote and no power supply with it. No numbers on the bed. Just a Richmat learn box underneath the bed. I would assume it doesn't matter what kind of bed it is as long as I have the correct remote and power supply with it, correct? I tried looking up the remote I would need by the control box item number but there are so many I'm confused. If I could give you the information and maybe you could help me? ...my head section will not elevate, the foot will and all functions still work. I can hear the motor running...when it first started failing it elevated in spasms, then finally went out. Is there a worm gear in there? I miss this function alot!

Our unit will not raise the head of the bed. The motor is working but it sounds like it is not engaging. I do not see anything broken and Leggett & Platt are sending me a new motor for $160. I checked the housing and it is fine. I also tried to remove the motor to check it further but the side with the motor that just runs when I engage the it will not come off. The bed is in the flat position so I wonder if the sliding block is stuck in position preventing the motor from coming off. Have you see this Adjustable Bed Doctor? Thanks

Thanks for the inside look. When raising the head, the motor sounds like it is free-spinning and doesn't stop. Maybe the gears are striped. I ordered a replacement motor and will look at it when I replace it. I definitely have a better understanding of how this works now.

My Richmat HJH173 remote won’t lift the head and foot up anymore. I don’t think it’s a motor problem because the “snore” and “zgrav” buttons still lift them up and “Flat” brings it all back down. The massage and ubl lights still work. I think my remote took one too many falls on the marble floor and it busted something. When I press the up buttons I hear the motor click, then nothing, but I also notice the light on the remote disappears as if I removed my finger when I didn’t. It doesn’t seem to register that I’m holding onto the button. It won’t react to me touching it at all for a few seconds afterwards too.
