Thanks for the video. They most definitely do not just lock in to those torque bars. I’ve got it on, lined up with the bars, those brackets are inside the motor and I’m pushing as hard as I can, and I can’t get the bars into those slots on the motor...so it won’t go far enough on to the pole to be able to slide the backs on. And I know I have the right one. So frustrating.
I have a motor labeled as designed by "Germany OK". It looks very similar to this unit; will this unit work as a replacement? It has a very long model number: "GM 65-4-B-87-69-A-BR-B-U(TWINMOT T5 BLCK)". Thank you!
Our unit will not raise the head of the bed. The motor is working but it sounds like it is not engaging. I do not see anything broken and Leggett & Platt are sending me a new motor for $160. I checked the housing and it is fine. I also tried to remove the motor to check it further but the side with the motor that just runs when I engage the it will not come off. The bed is in the flat position so I wonder if the sliding block is stuck in position preventing the motor from coming off. Have you see this Adjustable Bed Doctor? Thanks
