We have replaced the control box but the remote will not pair ( yes, there are new batteries, power to the control box, etc). We did try other combos and M1 and flat will make the remote blink but still won’t pair. What else can we try ? Thanks for your awesome videos by the way. It helped get us to this point !!
Hi there, I have a richmat adjustable bed that stopped working after my remote batteries fell out. Ive tried to pair it again by head down/foot up for 10 seconds then hitting the reset coding button on the control panel but get nothing. Any thoughts?
Hi Tina, thank you for your feedback! If only the zero gravity button isn’t working, it just means that button is broken. I was just continue to use the remote until it became inoperative. Then contact us for a new one.
Awesome video. Based on your experience, which adjustable bed would you say has the best components, e.g. motor, remote etc. I am in the market for a queen such as the Dreamcloud with massage etc.
We can’t make manufacturer recommendations about adjustable bed frames on the Internet. Just like cars, some models are more problematic than others. But if you contact Keith at our office, he can answer that question and also inform you on how you can get a great deal on a new adjustable bed frame.
My Richmat HJH173 remote won’t lift the head and foot up anymore. I don’t think it’s a motor problem because the “snore” and “zgrav” buttons still lift them up and “Flat” brings it all back down. The massage and ubl lights still work. I think my remote took one too many falls on the marble floor and it busted something. When I press the up buttons I hear the motor click, then nothing, but I also notice the light on the remote disappears as if I removed my finger when I didn’t. It doesn’t seem to register that I’m holding onto the button. It won’t react to me touching it at all for a few seconds afterwards too.
Based on the information you have provided, your remote is damaged beyond repair and will need to be replaced if still available. You can contact our office for help.
...my head section will not elevate, the foot will and all functions still work. I can hear the motor running...when it first started failing it elevated in spasms, then finally went out. Is there a worm gear in there? I miss this function alot!
what if the head/foot up and down work but the vibrate doesn't work..what's the likely issue? the box is analog just like the one you showed in the video. it's a Richmat adjustable bed.
How can I get a digital conversion kit? My analog went out and my elderly Mom needs her differing bed positions… it was a remote #2 style that does fit a rich mat…pls contact me as I want to buy one…
Please contact our office during business hours and we can help you. We have several affordable conversion kits for Richmat applications. We’d love to have you as a customer!
If you bought this new remote on Amazon, then that’s your problem. The remote control does not run on the correct radio frequency. See our video below for a better explanation.
@theadjustablebeddoctor4300 Unfortunately, I dont have the back, but I matched the button layout like that ad said. Should I send it back to Amazon. There were 2 different remote options. I ordered the one that matched my original remote
Hi Robert, contact our office during normal business hours so we can offer you more personalized service. Richmat is no longer manufacturing linear actuators with four pin plugs . However, we may be able to acquire you a new one. Happy to help

It’s either that your massage motors are bad themselves, or the ports that control the massage motors on your control box are bad.
