I'm jumping on the top comment just to share one more thing that this video didn't have, but solved my problem after none of these tips worked. You can "reconnect" (not pair) the remote by holding leg up and down simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
Thank you for this tutorial! I don't even have this manufacturer's frame. I have a completely different brand, and I couldn't remember how to pair my remote. As soon as you said to push the head up, leg up buttons, the light bulb in my head went on, and I remembered that's what I needed to press to pair my remote. THANK YOU!!

You sir have saved me! Remote stopped working last night with the back of bed raised. Woke up with a horrible back ache. Called Sealy, was on hold for 17 minutes, then they sent me to voicemail. What a crock. Shows what they think of their customers. During the 17 minutes on hold they offered a call back option of one business day. I opted to stay on hold and the reward after that was to be redirected to voicemail with a two business day call back. Not sure I will ever buy a Sealy product again. You are brilliant, solving a difficult issue. Thanks again.

This was awesome - wow i frame stopped working after batteries ran out. New batteries didn't help. No other video had the depress combination that you had to get out of child lock. That worked and fixed my bed at 12:30 AM. thanks again.
I was going insane trying to find a manual for this stupid bed frame with zero success. What is wrong with this company not having an online manual?!? You totally fixed it! Stupid child safe was on. My youngest is 22. I think we are safe from bed accidents. lol PS my wife had to listen to a torrent of swearing until I found your video. Thank you Mr Highly specific RUclips video person.

For the last few nights, I was unable to use my adjustable base because i couldn’t reset it until watching this video tonight. The 9V batteries are only if there is: - blackout - of if the power supply box = broken - 9V batteries = back up power system - to get out of the childproof locked mode is simply press and hold both buttons on the remote down until it flashes - then hold the upper buttons down until they flash and it should unlock childproof mode If that doesn’t work then you have bigger issues aka controller box OR the bed actuator motors are broken. Good luck
Although my model was not exactly the same, I was able to reset my module so that the remote worked again. Happened after a power outage at our house. Thanks for the great info.
This was what I needed to read tonight after an hour of not getting it figured out. Thank you! Mine is the same way, lock is the head side and unlock is the foot side.
I tried looking online for a manual, and they were all for the Ease 2.0. Apparently releasing the child lock changed between 2.0 and 3.0. For 2.0, you press and hold the foot up and foot down buttons. For 3.0 you press and hold the head down and foot down buttons until it blinks, then press and hold the head up and foot up buttons until it blinks. Thank you for the video!

We got it up and unplugged it from the charger (where the green light is) rather than from the wall as they told me. Then the blue light came on underneath and we were good to go...Your video is a blessing. I hope you receive a Blessing in return...

My cat stepped on the remote and locked it and I now have one small cat available for adoption after this whole process. 🙂 Why can’t they install the control panel closer to the edge so people don’t have to wedge themselves under the bed for a “simple” reset?

The technician told me the common way it initiates into this "child proof" mode is: - remote falls to the ground - remote gets sat on top of Anyways, if it keeps happening without any of the above maybe you might want to take it in. For me I got the 10 yr warranty but, I don't know how long their standard terms are. Good luck!
Oh my gooooodnesssssss I woke up in the middle of the night because I rolled onto the remote and accidentally put the head up too high. Then the remote stopped working!!!! Your video helped me solve it. It was ultimately a child lock issue. All the manuals I found online said that child lock was unlocked by holding the foot up and down buttons at the same time until it blinks twice - which did nothing. Your video told me to press the head and foot down at the same time until it flashed once and then head and foot up at the same time until it flashed once. That solved it. I’m so mad that the official manuals had the wrong instructions.

Yes, the tech line told me that having the remote fall off the bed can also, cause the remote to go into child proof mode.

Hi, all. Just be aware that on some of these (my one) the unlock is pressing up & down together on the right (leg adjustment) side.

Is yours a version 3.0 or 2.0? there is a different way to get it out of childproof mode for the different versions.
