    The LG V50 was the first phone to come with 4k 60fps recording in all four cameras but it wasn't praised for that, when iPhone brought the feature in the 11pro series, it was praised like crazy. RUclips these days is very biased😢😢😢

      I watched a bunch of reviews before getting mine. They all commented about the notch, saying it is so 2018.
      But.
      When the iPhone 11 comes out, notch is fine.
      I have been happier my lg than the last 5 Samsungs I have had.

      That may be the case for you, but LG has burned a lot of people so it's not exactly for no reason that their phones don't sell well. They had the bootloop issue for 3 generations of phones (possibly more) which is inexcusable. I owned 3 LG G4s and they all got into bootloops. My brother had the G3 and a friend of mine got the G5 which bootlooped as well. At the end of the day, no matter how good their devices today are, you can't call people unwise for avoiding them

    I'm using one of the older V30s right now and it's hands down the best phone I've ever used, including my friend's iPhone XS.
    It beats out phones years later in a ton of respects. It's about the thinnest bezel you can get without a notch. It produces the best sound out of anything i own (which isnt saying much, but it's still a bonus). I have everything i can set to hex #0 black to squeeze out a fair bit of extra battery life: the thing's a few years old, and I still can get 2 days of heavy use out of it. And the thing was half the price of the S8 it competes against (and wins. It's not even a competition).
    If subsequent V phones are anything like the one I'm holding now, LG has a customer for life. Not to mention they're the last major holdout for SD slots and headphone jacks. Even Samsung has lost their way with their latest line.

Due to all this false/forced marketing happening by these top youtubers, I switched to a Mi phone, but sadly, even though it being a 2019 phone, it can't even come close to my LG V20 in audio and video capabilities, just after 9 days of use, I sold it and bought LG V50, which arrives in 15 days. Android customers are more anal. Android customers are babies when it comes to picking apart devices. I started off wanting to upgrade to a Note 10+ and the more i started investigating them the more I debated really getting it. There are three main features that made me get the V50 over the Note 10+. QDAC for audio, I don't consider myself an Audiophile, but having AptX for HD wireless and QDAC HD audio for wired connections make the audio sound REALLY AMAZING! The manual mode for the camera allows me to really get the shot I want in all lighting. Lastly, the mics used while recording video are the best! Especially in a loud setting. The audio won't blow-up and become distorted. I loved my V30. Only had my V50 literally a few hours at this point and i already love it.

    I had the v20 and I loved it, that thing was built like a tank. They also don't get enough recognition for the extra ruggedness in their phones.
    The last LG I had was the G6 which was beautiful and a bargain. Hands down the best phone that year.
    The reason I switched to Samsung after alternating between the two companies for years is because the Samsung line of apps facilitate switching between phones and help keeping everything organized.
    Also, don't sleep on LG's other products, they are still a leading panel manufacturer and their audio, laptops, and TVs quality are top of the line.
    I own the LG 32GK850G-B monitor right now and I'm beyond happy with it. They've been killing it in the monitor game these past few years.

    I've got :
    LG g2
    LG g3
    LG g4
    LG g5
    Lg g6
    Lg v10
    Lg v20
    Lg v30
    Rest assured, only the Lg g4 died out on me with it's infamous LG-esque bootlooping.
    And the v10/20 developed some screen ghosting (probably because of the soc heat, and the general climate of where I reside)
    I'd definitely buy LG without hesitation even today if i could.

    • @FAT8893
      @FAT8893 4 года назад +2

      V60 has a much more powerful chipset and a wider 5G spectrum. Even the DualScreen case is a massive improvement over the V50's. Same story with the battery capacity as you have a whopping 5000mAh of it. But at 6.8", the V60 is far from small. At the moment, I don't really see any significant price drop for the V60. So unless if you do have a proper 5G network around your house area, I'd stay with the V50.

    Longtime V20 user, looking for my next upgrade and spending top dollar on a phone just doesn't appeal. I would miss the removable battery but LG's DAC implementation is a major key for me. Especially as I now have Custom IEM's and love the experience with Tidal Hifi and my V20. The price on this is solid right now, hoping if Google takes more control over updates that the SW support becomes a thing of the past.

    i think it's a great phone and this is an important take on it, because you're right, lg is not afraid to stand back and let the other companies do their thing while lg continues to do what their customers want. i think we may be in decent shape for lg continuing to do this also, because lg makes plenty of money in other industries like tvs, appliances, etc. their mobile division hasn't been a main focus for a while.

    • @ajreyes1262
      @ajreyes1262 5 лет назад +1

      I can forgive Apple's 64gb option only because iOS doesn't take as much storage as Android. But Google.... Well. The only good thing i can say about Pixel 4 is it's the second best camera next to Iphone 11. And that's it lol

    • @highmm2696
      @highmm2696 4 года назад

      Google deliberately keep storage low, so you make use of the included Google drive (I think you have unlimited storage for all photos and videos you take on a pixel) . If you put files on Google drive, you'll be inclined to buy another Google phone down the line with proper Google Drive optimisation, because that's where your photos and videos are.
      Horrible business strategy in my opinion.

    My first LG device was an LG V10, and god, did I love that phone. The only thing that pushed me away from LG was how late they are for device updates, and also, my V10 had the damn bootloop issue.
    It's 2020 now, and I still haven't gotten a new LG phone. I know their current phones have a bunch of features, but how are they handling future updates? Currently using a Mi 9T Pro with a Pixel 3a as backup. When you get spoiled with getting the latest Android updates early, it's kinda hard going back to LG.

    Love this phone! Quad DAC will change your life forever! Watching Netflix, Hulu, disney+ is an experience like no other with this phone especially with headphones. Headphone jack is clutch. Fingerprint sensor works perfectly everytime. Taking pictures is very nice because they aren't so saturated like on Samsung's. Video stabilization is excellent. Cod mobile looks amazing/ (but does heat up device if you play on the games highest rez. It wont if you run low graphics and max frame rate) You can screen record. It honestly charges faster than I anticipated a flagship phone to charge. If you are like me, who watches tons of streaming services, plays moble games, uploads pictures/video content onto social media, likes listening to music/podcasts than this phone is for you. Tbh I should only have to say Quad DAC for you to be sold on this.
