Im LG user since 2012 or so. I wish LG could make a nice looking smartphone with at least 90hz refresh rate. Our V50 feels old with 60hz. Anyway, I love it.

@@pkboss8324 SOT depends a lot on how you use your phone. I use it mainly for surf the net, RUclips and shopping. Normaly I get about 8 hours of SOT with a full day stand by (24h). Best I've done so far is 7,40h and 38h stand by. 0% drain over night 10% per hour of screen on. All this with data, bluetooth on and some services stopped (Mainly from Google) and some others not allowed to modify wifi settings or use brackground data. I think V50 is better then G8X. Korean version is good, at least will have faster updates.

It all depends on the optimization of the game or application in the operating system but I find it amazing that the apps go almost the same and the iPhone processor is supposed to be better on indoor cameras is better the V50 your selfie I liked the V50 better but on the outside takes better photos the iPhone in video is better the V50 but in audio I think it also looks the same. All of this means that LG is the best manufacturer. That's why I love my V50
Something is wrong with the ultra wide photo and video on V50. They are the same sensors as iPhone... Definitely something was wrong as mine is perfectly.

My wife and I both have the Motorola Moto G8 power "witch has served us well". We want to upgrade to a 5G. But we don't do contract and don't want to spend more than $350.00 per phone. we were going to buy the Moto g stylus 5G but I decided to look around one more time and found the V50 and did my research and comparison to other phones that were 5G and in the price range and I found nothing that can hold a candle to the v50. So I'm buying 2 of them tomorrow. We're through ATT o I double checked and they have 2 in stock. I'll be there when they open to get them.
Okay! Here's my opinion about theses phones. Have both LG V40 and V50. V40 is the American unlocked version and the other is European version. Now, side by side, the V50 has the better screen, much sharper images and text, even though they both have the same screen, but the V50 is much better, trust me. I know it's an LG V50 vs iPhone 12 video, this is just my opinion and my opinion is God 🙏 lol 🤪 😂. SOUND - V50 sounds better and slightly louder. Not a true stereo speaker system, but it's still better than the V40, more crisper through the speakers. Quad Dac is amazing with even the cheapest headphones. Quad Dac creates the sound closer to how the artist created it. So customisable too. CAMERAS - Again V50 has way better than the V40. Dynamic range is much better and true to like colours, especially on my V50 and that's in standard photo mode. Zooming in on both phones, V50 wins again, more detail and colour representation is better but only if in daylight shots. V40 is still good but not enough to beat the V50. Less grain on the V50 in all shot day and night. NIGHT SHOTS - You know what I'm going to say, it's V50 again, I was surprised how good the images were, not Pixel territory but very close as I've had the Pixel 2XL before. MANUAL VIDEO AND CAMERA - Not even going to go into detail. It's the best camera set up out there, seriously, and I'm not a fan boy either. I've used Samsung, HTC, Huawei and Nokia over the years, they don't compare. Also, an SD card slot too, brilliant. BATTERY - Yes it's a win for the V50. In standby mode definitely 2 or 3 day battery if don't touch it. Medium to heavy use, I'm a heavy user, definitely lasts all day, then charge as you sleep. In conclusion, great phone, great specs, great sound, but camera needs to improve to keep up with the best out there. The is a good phone V40 but should you upgrade? Hmm! Second hand, definitely. I wouldn't pay $1000 for the V50, God no. But because LG phones fall in price quicker than a prostitute in covid, I would definitely upgrade from the V40 to the V50, which I did. Stay safe everyone, oh and thanks for making honest and unbiased videos 👍 . I'm from the UK just so you know.
@@Sunset13118 I've not tried the V60, but it's still a good phone. It only has a 6.8 inch 1080p screen, but can record in 8K but downscales to 6K. Has a 5000mah battery which will easily last all day under heavy use. 64mp camera which should be good in any condition. Has video voice bokeh record, which centers on your voice in noisy conditions. Has the normal quad dac for sound and a manual video record which I think is brilliant. Hope that helps you! 👍

Yes, the V30 has been a great tool for the last 2 years. Never disappointed, minor setback would be the quality of the front camera. LG has announced to cease the smartphone production.

Im have lg g7 and i would not recommend lg if you want to use the phone for gaming. Iphone x is still better for gaming than v50
