    A little heat on the aluminium case persuades the bearing to come out like no other.

    How did you get the brake cover and drum off before you took off the hub?

      Did you install the correct brake shoes? Is it because the brake shoes are too far away from the drum to start with? Before you hook up with the brake rod that goes to the brake pedal can you swing the brake lever partially and have it spring back and maybe you’re just swinging it so far that the brake shoe springs don’t spring it back? I wonder if they gave you the incorrect brake shoes, can you compare the new shoes to the old shoes?

      @Dave Raymond no sir and a friend of mine said the same thing about the brake shoes but I was thinking if everything else was right in the kit why not the brake shoes but I will look at that thanks Mr Dave

      @derricks8352 Год назад

      @Dave Raymond and yes I have to go down to far on the lever and the arm gets stuck and I still don't have brakes and if I adjust it to far from the dot on the lever then the brake cable is not long enough to reach

    • @daveraymond2265
      @daveraymond2265  2 года назад

      I’m not sure what you mean by Slack side to side. If you mean the calipers will slide side to side you have to get in and pump the brakes a few times to allow the Pistons to come out and force the pads against the rotor

      Make sure you tighten down that axle nut against the washer before you lock it down with the locking nut
