The reality is that you dont as cooking maca doesnt destroy aflatoxins, which is the biggest risk for eating it raw. So even cooking raw maca is pointless unless it has been thoroughly tested for mould and aflatoxin levels, which no company does. I think one thing you can do is heat the maca root powder in a stainless steel pan for a few minutes to ensure you kill any toxins in it before you use it.

Brings me to a question. Can I heat the raw organic maca root powder in a stainless steel pan for few minutes to aid in killing any toxins?
cooking raw maca does not destroy the aflatoxins, they are heat stable. That is why we heat activate our maca before we sell it.
