About 5 months ago I started to reduce my carbs, cut down my sugar intake, drinking a lot more water, stopped late night snacking, began eating big salads dressed with cold pressed olive oil and spices (no store bought dressings), started intermittent fasting; now keeping it down is a much welcomed “problem”! Any bitter vegetable such as bitter-melon, acts as a blood cleanser and used as a natural medicine and added to cuisines in Africa, the Caribbean, India and Asia. If you want to change your sexual performance, you have to change your lifestyle and clean up your bad eating habits.

I have been taking this for 4 months now, I got it from nootropics, they seemed to have the best feedback. It works by reducing estrogen which improves free flowing test. It doesn't really boost test levels it just removes estrogen. As a matter of fact, a study was done comparing it to the pill they give women who had breast cancer and it was actually every bit as good at blocking estrogen.

@@bobdavidsonm.d.7214 Yes Bisphenol A (or BPA) and phthalates can leach from plastics into water and they are considered endocrine disruptors. Most plastics (but not all) these days used for water don't contain BPA anymore but those containing recycled plastics may contain traces of it. Also any water reaching temps above normal room temperature in plastic bottles has increasing potential to absorb chemicals from plastic. Normal single use water bottles are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) but do not technically by nature contain phthalates which is more of an additive to make plastics both more durable and softer. Some PET bottles however, may actually have this additive and it's still considered PET which is phthalate free. Regardless of their assumed BPA and phthalate free status, studies have shown leaching of these chemicals into the water during long storage or at high temps so the source is somewhat of a puzzle. I'd nevertheless switch to stainless steel or glass.

I agree, I was recently diagnosed with hormone imbalance Low T and even though my Endocrinologist agrees that TRT is not good for men that plan on having children in the future (since TRT including Bio-identical WILL lead to infertility, possible increase in likelihood of getting breast/prostate cancer, autoimmune diseases, genetic mutations). All of the other doctors I've seen for completely unrelated issues question why I'm not taking it. When I explain the science behind how TRT works in the body and why it's more of a band-aid and not a cure they get offended or pissed at me.

But all these RUclips videos and advertisements for TRT...If it's (that) bad....then why not find out definitively, why? Why do so many have this issue? If read several theories, but nothing definitive. Why do (I) not have low testosterone? Then I here this claim that the current generation has lower testosterone than previous generations. I don't believe this. How do they know this? When did they start to take average testosterone levels in humans? I know we live longer. We are getting bigger, stronger and faster. So one could even conclude that lower testosterone could be a good thing? Another viewpoint... you here people complain about lower libido....Well I would welcome a lower libido....I know my mind would be more focused and I'd get more things done!!! All the distraction I spend on my libido!!! In certain circumstances; maintaining an erection is NOT a good thing. (Especially in my work uniform in which the designers forgot that men have male parts!!!) But what all these "Low T" clinics that advertisers annoyingly shove down us don't tell you....A good chance you'll shut down your own natural production of testosterone. You will have to get testosterone injections, creams or whatever type of therapy for the rest of your life. Think about it if you travel to other countries going through customs. Or just hassling with it. All the extra blood work. All the other extra exams and Dr. visits. Think about the cost if you at some time don't have health insurance. Will health insurance companies continue to cover testosterone therapy? Too much risks and what ifs. Wouldn't want to walk around with this in the back of the mind...
So just to summarize in a sentence...Why not just find out why the testosterone is low in the first place?

HRT is the best direction to go if one suffers from these conditions but always examine your diet, exercise habits, and overall health condition first and talk with your Urologist and or Endocrinologists, who works directly with hormonal systems of the body. Get a CMP blood lab done.. check "T" levels of Free "T" and Total "T" levels. Check FSH, LH, and SBGH hormones too.
Men, also get your estrogen levels checked along with your Test.
Women should do the same work up too..but add Test levels as well. Both hormones work synergistically well together and if either one is too low, it directly affects the other.

    • @KH-xc5fq

Not at all. Men should never go this route because it shuts your body's ability to ever produce testosterone on it's own. HRT should be a last ditch effort. It's possible to produce testosterone after HRT but it will be a crazy process to get back to natural production. Don't do it people. Do interval cardio if you want to really ramp up testosterone and HGH.

I have only ever suffered it, and when I do it is stubbornly consistent, when I have a deep emotional aversion to the person, that only surfaces over time and is not apparent at all at first, In fact I usually really like the person and find them very attractive. It was Ray Sahelian brand, only 20 mg.
It’s something you have to be careful with as it can give you extreme anxiety and bad insomnia. This has happened to me multiple times, I kept a journal, and so I don’t even recommend taking it every day.

I hear that so many times "talk to your doctor before taking this supplement". What do doctors know about supplements?? They are basically not trained in nutrition/herbs etc. They basically just want to push pharmaceuticals. So what they don't know about they'll probably tell you not to use it. They should be the last to get opinions on these things. Unless you have a naturopathic or functional medicine or chiropractic doctor that knows about supplements etc.

Others say that if you keep the doseage level below 300 Mg. that it is completely safe. Can you elaborate on your findings. And also, are there other safer supplements that increase "T-levels" as well? Thank you for a response. I had noticed weakness in muscles from cholesterol meds which I have now limited (especially since they are finding that they are b.s. as far as heart disease for the most part.) I want to add to the side effects that quite a few people who have used Tongat Ali for very long periods of time have experienced emotional numbness. That seems to be a common side effect of long-term use for a lot of these testosterone boosting supplements, including Ashwaganda and Fadogia Agrestis. Not everyone seems to experience it, though.

For the record, I've been taking Ashwaganda for 3+ years now. I started taking both Tongkat Ali and Fadogia Agrestis around 2 years ago, but my usage of those two has been much more infrequent. I've never had more than 600mg of either supplement in a day.

@@DillaryHuff so no evidence then? When you say “quite a few people” you are just referring to yourself and anecdotal experience. Tongat ali has no evidence of causing any emotional numbness.
