It is not tearing up! However, that usually happens with cars who have tall side walls.

Haha french extra marital affair, really funny and innovative way to kick start a review. I did not know about the independent suspension for the rear wheels, that was a surprise, now I suddenly want to upgrade my old duster with this new one! The gear ratio change is going to make a hell lot of a difference in the traffic. The clutch must be lighter too. It would be the best advantage it has over the old version. Driving in the traffic is quite a challenge at times. And traction control and eco mode just add to the list of the good things with this model. This is a very good review indeed.

I have the 2 wheel drive version. This car is the best when it comes to long drives. Very comfortable. Duster is the king of compact suv's.

One more...When we open the website..the ad which is showing by the Renault is like Adventure edition model..But here the exteriors looks same as old one...As this Car is AWD atleast they could have design like adventure edition model in exteriors

need a more comprehensive review. If it says an AWD, it should be capable of some off roading but for that you need to push it to its limits to find out. we would like to know its performance on mud, slush, sand, rocks and mountains. Can you do that?? or is it just a marketing gimmick of Renault?? Eagerly waiting for your full review!!

Also, noticed that you pushed the car extreme in some situations and saw that car jumped off in some time. and at 5:15, the rear tyre wobbled very badly. Is the car really stable when you push like that?

Is the 4 wd lock in duster is equivalent to low range gear box in other 4 wd vehicles like fortuner? Bcoz it works only below 60 kmph in duster and above that it shifts to auto mode. Pls reply
kedar fulambrikar , No. there is no low range in Duster AWD. But the gear ratios are shortened a bit to help in off roading.

Please upload the review of Aventura diesel folks. Also may I ask your view which is a better car to own I20 credit or Aventura diesel? Points to consider:
Maintained
Mileage
Power
Handling
Speed
OXOM POWER The Active i20 would be our choice among the two. In terms of maintenance, both cars would be on par as Fiat has improved its after sales service quite a bit. However, the Hyundai service is well established and widespread compared to Fiat.
In terms of mileage, the i20 Active is slightly ahead with a figure of 21.19kmpl against the Avventura's 20.5kmpl (ARAI approved).
The Hyundai feels more powerful due to the larger engine size as well as more torque (220nm) which is produced earlier in the rev range. The Fiat Multijet 1.3 diesel engine is know to have quite a but of turbo lag.
In the Handling department, the Avventura would beat the i20 Active hands down. Having said that, the i20 Active does handle respectably and also has good ride quality.
Owning to the better engine output and 6 speed gearbox and better power to weight ratio, the i20 Active is faster.

This new Duster being a 4wd, will it make any sense to drive it in 2wd mode ? . I mean to say how much does the driving quality differ between the two modes ?
Rahul Das Most of the 4WD models have a 2WD option. Adding power to all wheels does make a huge difference. ;)

Does AWD are good for overtaking, i mean except off-roading does it help in city traffic to over take lame drivers.
Since you have power on every wheel, it does help in Overtaking. Especially in our road conditions.
