- The Duster has been in India since 2012 and after a facelift in March 2016, the Duster seems more appealing to potential buyers. That said, the older all-wheel-drive or AWD had a hard clutch and long travel, leaving the driver with a sore left foot. As far as off-road capabilities are concerned, the AWD could tackle most terrains with ease. So, does the facelift Duster AWD improve on any of its earlier shortcomings? Sukhpreet Singh tell us.

Renault Duster has it all to fulfill a Man's Craving for Power.
I am driving duster from almost 5 months. I just can't control the excitement when I take my duster for long countryside outings. I once took a road parallel to Arabian sea on the way to goa, it was just me and the comforts inside the duster, clouds above and a sea beside, the feeling was amazing, I love my duster for this memorable feel.

Dhruv Jain I have been to goa last week. Are you talking about south goa route from north to palolem Beach.. My God I never thought India was so beautiful especially the drive.. I drew 200km 😁.
How is the 85ps 4x2 duster. Is it underpowered with full load?

Duster is already equipped with features like hill-assist, EBS, abs for the safe journey while on for hilly terrains. The AWD feature is duster will give a better control over off-road paths.
Ground Clearance of AWD version is 210mm not 205 mm....similarly boot volume is not 475mm for the awd version due to independent suspension intrusion....

I like the Duster as well, but how can you conclude that you don't need ladder on frame for off roading after driving on just a sandy terrain? a traction controlled porsche 911 or civic can do that as well.
AWD is not made for the purpose of extremely off-roading condition's but still you can use it for an easy off-roading condition's

I have a dustur 4*4 2014 model , can I install a fridge in its boot space, without compromise anything in electronics and engine, mileage no problem

I am confused between Honda WRV Petrol top end VXMT and Duster RXS 85 PS (Diesel).As both prices are same and mileage is same.
Honda WRV has some good interior with 1.2 engine and rev parking camera and 10.50lakh cost
Duster is tuff and muscular looking and more power 1.5but cost 11.90 lakh in pune
Hello Swapnil Bopshetti, Duster is segment higher than WRV, I own 2013 Honda city diesel VX and 2015 Renault Duster 85ps rxz, city is pocket friendly car to maintain, Duster is on costlier side, on paper City looks powerful but on a open road Duster out runs my city by a large margin, the interior quality of wrv is better than Duster, and Duster handles& rides like an premium car what an 40lakh rupee car had to offer on driving dynamics Duster offers u in cheapest price, if u are looking to buy Duster u have to opt only the top end 85ps rxz or 110ps rxz, which are fully loaded variants.
My friend take duster it gives you more power more comfort

Petrol duster gives you low mileage but diesel ones gives you more mileage
Sukhpreet, it's called a "ladder frame" chassis. The BODY goes on top of the ladder frame. As a motoring journalist you should know this....
