i have this car and i love it.the 4x4 feature/eco mode,hill assist,gear upshift and downshift indicator is awseome "trust me u r not going to stuck.recently i drove this car from arunachal to delhi 2227km, met royal enfield bikers on the way 170kmph in this car no problem "stability is like awesome mannn".now im more in love with this compact suv next im planning to drive to ladakh and then rajasthan .there was no cars that could overtake me lol😂😂😂 audi,merc,bmw,supercars and bikes are exceptional😆😆

By adding AWD to an already potent package has made the Duster even more better..
For people who feel the Duster is overpriced, it costs 16.1 lacs on road Bangalore..
Comparitively, the Scorpio costs 16 lacs, Safari Storme 17 lacs, XUV500 18.2 lacs, Aria 18.3 lacs..
All on road Bangalore for AWD variants..
Duster easily is the best ride and handling package amongst the competition.. by adding AWD to it, the car has just become even better now..
Bro, what is the cost of full service in Renault showroom?
The pricing of the top end 110bhp 2WD Duster is 15lacs on road, which is absolutely Bullshit for the cheap quality and whole lot of cost cuttings, with just the usual basic levels of equipment.
Now although this AWD adds to the capabilities of this car, the price will also increase sharply.
The updated 2014 Tata Aria and Facelifted Scorpio (soon to be launched) seems to be much better value, with more flexibility!
My vote goes for the Tata Aria!
If U think price is factor U must blame govt who puts stupid duty Tax not Renault moreover aria is failed car & scorpio looks dull too....
Ya, the Aria failed because no one cared about Tata. But the car is much better than the XUV or Duster. It is worth the price you pay for it. It's just that people assumed it is a bad car.
Coming back to the Duster, what is the special "extra" tax levied upon it, which makes it so costly, given that it has smaller engine than Scorpio or Aria?
It still has poor quality interiors and still details at an insane 15lacs on road. (I'm talking about the Fwd version) There is almost no space at the rear seats too. I can't buy this crap just for its engine and ride quality. It's a bad value package.

if you wanna a hardcore sub, then you are better off driving a pajero , softoffroaders like the awd duster is just for the normal acceptable levels of driving fun....

Soft touch plastics!!!!! I severely doubt that...i own a 2018 AWD Duster...and this video was release way back...still no soft touch material. However, the duster is a superiorly capable Compact SUV

Creta is a I 20 on stilt , oh ya they put the 1.6 L engine on it.
Tucson and Santa Fe are better suv S from Hyundai.

The cars you mentioned such as the safari, xuv 500, etc are actually slower than the duster pal! And i think you mentioned QUALITY. Sit inside a safari or xuv 500 lot of ergonomic faults and rattling sounds coming from the interiors when you use those cars. Safari is bull shit when it comes to driving dynamics. Duster outclasses them when it comes to performance, handling, quality, and reliability
