It looks amazing on video, and the specs are incredible, price is right, I went down to a dealer and sat in one and immediately felt like a little kid trying to look over the dashboard. Like they are trying to make these cars feel as big as possible, and have this big massive unnecessary front end sticking out trying to look like a big stupid American truck so you have no idea where the end is. I guess I’m kind of spoiled because I’m used to driving Volkswagen van, but I ended up getting a Suzuki Jimmy. I just like the feel of being higher in relation to the dashboard and having a greater direct feeling of the external world to the windows. But this is a very personal experience for me. I certainly miss having that massive trunk (“boot”).
I want one. My favourite ever car was my nissan pathfinder in part because of the split opening rear window but still this new dacia duster gets closer to that feeling and has decent MPG etc.
Nothing against screens as long as I dont need to touch them. Love that with my 2015 BMW nice size screen but thanks to the control wheel in the center consol I dont need to try and use my fingers like on a phone. Wish more did like IDrive.
Really good looking car. I’ve been in a drive test with the 4x4 “extreme” version. I think they called it extreme because the only engine available is a 1 liter 3 cylinder. It beats my logic. Why put a tiny engine on a 4 by 4 and a 1.6 on the 4x2 version. Try load it with four or five passengers and som outdoor luggage and then throw it in the wilderness
For the money you can't beat its off road ability, also not massive like the some of the good 4x4's. Also can park in the town car park no problem due to size.. sort of car you feel confident and secure in that it wont let you down in any environment. Yup
Beautiful colour! Nice interior reminds one of the Ford Maverick with a medley of hues and textures. 💯 Cheers from Florida 🌴🤙🏼 082024
18k 4x4 seriousky that's an amazing car for the money and quality
This is such a nice vid overall whit the view and choice of words 🎉 great Job mad looking man 👍
Morocco was never a colony, rather it was under French and Spanish protectorates. The head of state was and still is the Moroccan monarch.
Dacia nailed it!! very good looking little car
Dacia used to be synonym of worst of worst even in former eastern block, more than 35 years ago.
But ever since taken over by Renault, it gets better and better! And this one very new Duster? Great job!
It was bad but not so bad,i had my father Dacia 1310 until 2008 i really liked that car.
the latest is the Bigster version (big brother of Duster)
It's coming to South Africa as the Renault Duster. So excited
I'm looking forward to the Dacia Bigster. I have a Duster 2 as a cheap beater in eastern Europe and I can't wait to get my hands on a bigger version.
I would buy this - impressive how far they have come
One big, I would say enormous advantage to own a Dacia car.
Your heart will not go bleeding if it is scratched or dented... and I mean it in a good way.
Great car, great film. Both look stunning. I want this to be my first _new_ car. And I want to go out and explore with it.
I like how he pronounces Dacia in the correct romanian form
They need to bring these budget friendly vehicles to the states! Along with the 506 lol
Has it lost it's diesel engine option and is a hybrid option actually a good thing given that price and simplicity (and reliability?) were the calling cards of the Duster?
Wish we could get one in the US
americans love big displacements
Yup
Sandero 🤝 🐐
Imo, two car brands that I find truly honest and desirable: Dacia and Tesla
You find Tesla to be truly honest?! 😂
I want one.
My favourite ever car was my nissan pathfinder in part because of the split opening rear window but still this new dacia duster gets closer to that feeling and has decent MPG etc.
Love the new design, they need to release that extreme concept 😍
I foresee a bright future for the the Duster , they are good reliable cars.
Thank you very much for this very interesting review.
Take care of yourself.
I love it!!! Well done Dacia!
Did anything stop working across that mileage? Shame they added televisions, loved the back to basics old 4x4.
Good news!
For the money you can't beat its off road ability, also not massive like the some of the good 4x4's. Also can park in the town car park no problem due to size.. sort of car you feel confident and secure in that it wont let you down in any environment. To me it looks a bit like a mini Landover, shame they messed up that market after the Freelander 2.
Great review - waiting for Bigster as well 🙂
The offroading starts at 12:55 and lasts 5 seconds.
I really hope they sell loads of these so in the near future I can buy one as my upgrade from my first car.
Ordered mine yesterday , first day for orders in the UK Keeping my old one for Farm work... Just shows how all the other companies rip you off
What spec did you go for? Choosing between Journey and Extreme... Not sure I need the 4x4 and apparently the Extreme seats are a bit sweaty.
@@WobbleFruit the extreme, living in the uk, warm seats fine by me more of an issue for hot countries…. It does have air con and I use seat covers as well in the front. 4x4, all the way.. I do a lot of hobbies that mean as much ground clearance and grip the better. It’s the best 4x4 for the money that really can go off road unlike many others wanabe 4x4 SUV’s that would rip their front valance off as soon as they hit a mud road..
@@WobbleFruit if you like off road - go for 4x4, however if you do only « normal road » you don’t need 4x4 as is high enough and light enough to drive even in bad road conditions.. i would go for automatic 4x2.. but… depends on what you need..
The back sort of reminds me of the Pontiac Aztec...which is something i cannot unsee
until Renault / Dacia decides to make 4WD available with something better than the 1.2L 3-blοοdy-cylinder sh1tfest of an engine, I'm steering clear of the otherwise interesting Duster. Why-oh-why didn't they allow the 1.6 hybrid 140 + 4WD combo???
Also, I run a top-spec 1997 Vitara at the moment. And it holds up remarkably well for its age, mind you. I went and checked out the newest Duster. The driver compartment was more cramped than my Vitara and overall I didn't feel I was sitting in a better cabin in there, apart from the screens and stuff and of course taking into consideration that one car's new and the other is 27yo
When is this third generation (2024) released in the UK? The UK Dacia website only has the second generation (2017) model.
That’s a brilliant looking thing!! Lose the touch screen and it may be almost perfect that said I like fact they still have buttons for the basics great work!!
"Good News!"
DACIA is best money for quality car tbh
It's the best car even if you compare it with expensive ones. Why better 300% more for 5% more things and - 200% reliability
GOOD NEWS!!!
