    You forgot the fact that there's no easy way to pop the case/swap buttons like the standard panthera

      so, it's customizable?

      @ecapsdira 5 лет назад +7

      @@syyanon1738 opposite, it's less customizeable. You can still unscrew the base to get to the internals but the old panthera was definitely easier to mod

      @@ecapsdira yeah but tell me when you are gonna need that? I mean don't get me wrong it's great with the one button deal and all but let's be real how many times are you gonna change your stick and buttons? Not a lot of times, so the need for it to be so simple isn't really there. And the evo has more staff for the competitive and casual user. Being lighter isn't something small, a headphone jack isn't something to dismiss either. And the mechanical switches are great as far as I know. So, I don't really understand the whole Panthera is better thing.

      @@Kostas68238 regardless of any use case, the evo being harder to mod is a downside. I'm not saying one's better than the other, I'm just saying facts people should definitely consider before buying.

      @@ecapsdira For something to be a downside it must something considerably worse than any other arcade stick at the price point has. Not all arcade sticks have the panthera's customisability so it isn't industry standard at the 200 dollars mark. The panthera evo 's customisability is still leagues ahead of competitors it's still easy in comparison to other sticks at that price point. Also in the razer panthera it is near impossible to change artwork. It isn't designed in order to change the art work, you must use a heat which is for sure gonna break the plexi. But the evo has an easy way to change the artwork. In the case of the panthera that is a downside because every competitor brand has some way to change the artwork at that price point (obsidian, hori fighting edge, etc.).

    My dream arcade stick:
    1-Quality PCB
    2-Good build+good originamics
    3-Detachable cable
    4-Easy access to the internals
    5-Art work customization
    6-Button placements that make sense
    The MCZ TE2+ are the closest that come to perfection.

    I had to choose between this and Hori RapV, we really don't get much choice in Australia. Anyway I decided to go for Razor because it's a bigger brand and I wanted a Sanwa lever.

    well, I was excited for the new panthera but the cable compartment and weight are kind of deal breakers. unfortunate

    Hey Sajam, I have never used a fight stick before. Which do you recommend? Razer Panthera or Razer Panthera Evo is more likely going to be better for new users and why. Thanks!

      Either one will do if you're just looking into getting one for beginner, if anything, finding a cheaper option will benefit a beginner in case you don't like it, unless of course you are dedicated to learning it

      He is right I was a beginner until recently been on stick for 6 months now. I began with a Mayflash F500 which for the price range 80$ is not a bad option at all fully modd capable.I am now getting a Qanba Obsidian higher end stick which rivals this Razor.

    How does it compare to the discontinued MadCatz TE 2+ ?

  • @TheRealDustinNunn
    @TheRealDustinNunn 5 лет назад +5

    I would stick with the original Panthera because it comes with a spare bat-top inside of it. Same goes for the original Atrox. Also be aware that the limited edition Atrox and Panthera that are tied to Street Fighter 5, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and Dragon Ball FighterZ do not come with spare bat-tops inside of them.
