@@TheNeonLynx nah it's only needed for ronald. as we could see with goku, one direction is only neccesary for him, as even ultra instinct can't stop the slam. ronald, i'm not even sure if they can beat the slam either, but if they can, that'd be when 4 directional thwomp, the pinnacle of URGH would need to be unleashed.
especially if the arena was something like the terry arena from SSB ultimate, where thwomp literally can't accidentally SD. in that stage, i am very unsure if ronald even has a chance..

@@nopeafy23 Considering that move is Thwomp's only way to attack it seems, he _has_ to risk his opponent going off-stage to bait a SD, otherwise he only draws at best due to never attacking. Thwomp simply didn't get counter-picked with a floaty character that can stay off-stage for awhile, which'll make attacking a suicide play.

Thwomp was a bad matchup for Goku. How can you predict the movements of an enemy with no brainpower? Goku SDd three whole times and Thwomp probably thought “where’d he go?”

It's hilarious. Thwomp does literally just one thing over and over, but the fact that that one thing is technically an instant recovery, hits hard, and goes so high so fast just completely messes with the other bots' ability to deal.
