I think the funniest thing about this was that in the, "Name a Pokemon Coney doesn't know", section, Coney names an actual Pokemon and then describes a different Pokemon, which might be the only way he should actually get points for that prompt.
If he names a Pokemon and then describes it, then he knows the Pokemon so he shouldn't get points, but he gave an actual Pokemon name and then described a different one, showing that he did not in fact know that Pokemon. Actual perfection.
It's even better because he was actually pretty close with the name: Zorua -> Zeraora

jaiden’s 0.13 points actually mattering but being concealed for the whole video is an incredible example of chekov’s gun
the whole point of checkov's gun is that you tell people about it before hand, but you would have no reason to have brought it up if it won't come up later in the story. ie if you show the audience a gun in the first act, it MUST be fired in the third act. checkov's .13 points would be if they were shown when they were given and we laughed that they'd never be relevant, but then they ended up being the tie breaker

The correct answer to the deserted island question is Tropius. It produces fruit, can provide you with shelter since it's basically a sentient tree, and even if you can't escape the island, it can help you fly around it so you can spend less time and energy gathering resources or getting to a better spot to setup camp. It can even use sunny day to help clear up the weather if a bad storm comes through.

Especially when you have Make It Rain and Present is the perfect representation of today's youtube climate. You have genuinely good people on their word like Mr. Beast, and then you have people like James Somerton who stole charity money (and a notorious plagiarist). Which is why Make It Rain hurts while Present has a chance of healing (since if it does hurt, then that means Delibird did something cringeworthy).

Coney’s genuine reaction to finding out about the devil being a Pokémon is the highlight to me the way he really sounded so surprised made me laugh so much 😭
To be fair to him, Pokemon is one of those nerdy franchises that's much more popular now but it got some flack from Christian extremists back in the 90's who claimed it was the Devil targeting kids through these video games. So it's honestly hilarious that in Gen 4 Gamefreak went "yeah ok we're gonna add an all-mighty god and a major devil. Could be inspired by Buddism; could be Christianity... we're getting dubbed and we're cooking up world-building lore. Let's go!" I think Coney was just flabbergasted because of that bit of history making the whole thing more astonishing. Maybe they knew, maybe they didn't. Either way it's funny.

My personal answer to "who needs therapy" is Inteleon. You have this young kid who spends literally their entire childhood in tears. Eventually they learn to suppress their emotions, but they still feel this deep despair and, as such, become an edgy emo teen. Finally, in their adult years, their internal strife combined with their learned reliance on a cold, unfeeling exterior leads them to the life of a cold-blooded assassin.

Favorite parts of the episode are when Wolfey's smile is practically breaking his face because he's so excited for his answer, and when someone says a Pokemon fact and Coney looks into the camera in Horror.
For the "who can take out the most lions". My answer is Zoroark, Wolfey was onto something with the comradery thing and Zoroark would transform into a lion and gain their trust. It's pretty much the spy from TF2. Stab them in the back when their backs turned and never get caught.

My answer to that question is actually Gardevior. Based on the pokedex, if its trainer is in danger from these lions, the Gardevior will create a black hole to defeat the opponents, and that's just too overpowered to look past. A black hole would definitely defeat the most lions.

I’d say Zygarde. Considering the most broken moveset in the series, having 4 signature moves, all of them are moves that hit both pokemon in a double battle, and the way the moves work too. Thousand Arrows would pin them to the ground, Thousand Waves would prevent them from running away. And Land’s Wrath and Core enforcer would just take em out
My answer to it was Yveltal, purely because while it it a legendary and definitely could take out quite a few, especially because it can heal with oblivion wing. If and when it dies to the lions, it kills every living thing and reverts to a cocoon, thus killing an infinite amount of lions

When I saw Coney was in this vid, and that he had minimal knowledge about Pokemon, I assumed he'd be more comic relief than anything. Seeing how he was able to make convincing, passionate arguments, especially for Pokemon he was unfamiliar with, was a genuine surprise and fascinating to watch lol.
