I promise I’m not trying to be messy or troll!!
@@tlg976I do as well. Beautiful memories of my first love. Many of us know it's a break up song ❤
@@tlg976 not all endings have to be sad, they can still be sweet even if the person wasn’t “the one” in the end. This song perfectly articulated this at one point for me and I choose to call the memories sweet instead of sour.
@@tlg976I remember being a kid in like summer 2013 sitting in front of my aunty’s first salon selling candy and lemonade and that song being on repeat

Justin Timberlake is still the bar for me this year.
USHER did.. don’t @ me 😅

Chaka and Ne-Yo was top notch too! ❤
Yes, Maxwell is undoubtedly one of the most influential R&B's from the 90's!
One thing about Tiny Desk concerts is you CANNOT FAKE THE FUNK! Maxwell is a timeless talent and it shows.
He's true class ❤
Thank you for Maxwell. Can we get D'Angelo please. We're litteraly begging now
Please!!! That would be amazing.
Due to health he’s unable to perform or sing at that level
Really Love would go CRAZY on a Tiny Desk

As a younger millennial, I’ve been listening to Maxwell since I was a baby. Maxwell is legendary!
Meeee 2❤❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉
You already know what it is. 1989, let’s go.
Saw Maxwell live few years ago now and he was amazing. Usher's tiny desk was yes was my favourite not anymore Maxwell is now by far my favourite. Sooooooo good thank you tiny desk 👌🙏
Hasn't lost a step vocally and this is why he's among one of my favorite singers like Chico DeBarge, Jon B, Lyfe Jennings, Eric Benet, D'Angelo.....
Chico Debarge’s Long Time No See is a classic!
@@AperTrueViews Most definitely!
Chico’s Long Time No See is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! No skips.
nice to see someone else who's a fan of Chico....I have his entire body of work...🥰
@@plmitchMe too 😁
That “Bad Habits” had me in a trance…background singers doin they thang…and “Don’t ever wonder” gives me Love Jones nostalgia 😊
Right!!😂
Bad Habits Was THE Song off that Album that Stayed on Repeat 🔁🔁🔁🔁🔁 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥💥💥
Yes, that’s the one that started the trance for me. Almost missed my stop on the train. 😂
it's so beautiful to see how his confidence builds up throughout his tiny desk concert. the love the audience gave him really invigorated him. it's lovely to see him having fun and getting his flowers!
This is an amazing performance. Maxwell is one of my favorites. I’m so glad, that I stumbled across this video. Pure joy ❤
In the mid 90s, Maxwell and D'Angelo flipped my whole musical tastes upside down. I was all hip hop and these dudes mellowed my whole vibe.
This guy has one of the greatest falsettos in the game period.
You said a word.
Maxwell sounds just like the recordings. He is one of the greats!
“I could let my life pass me by, or I could get down and try to work it on out this life time.” Absolutely love that song.
That song will make you
Reflect on Life.
He is one of the greatest R&B singers ever! With his captivating voice! ❤
NU SOUL at his Finest 🔥🙏🏼
Gen Z here! I grew up on older music and let me just say Maxwell did not disappoint! Tiny Desk, thank you!
Same, Gen Z has no idea about music, This is it
Maxwell is old music now oh noooo !!!
Gen Z calling my music "older music" feels so wild! 😂😂😂
@@HiLaToya i mean given it was from the 90’s.. it’s considered older. Don’t get me wrong, I listen to music from the 60’s. It’s not present day music so I said older.
@@voicethe241 Our olders said this as well. Every Gen has their sound. We're just lucky Maxwell was ours ❤
If you’ve never been to a Maxwell concert I highly recommend you do his concerts are top tier🥰
I agree. I have seen him three times, and he's incredible.
I second that notion...and I'm ready to go again when he comes back this way!!!
True dat!
Been to two so far. I’ll go to every single one near me every time he comes.
October 3rd - can’t wait!❤
Wow! One of the Best audiences.....
Giving me an unskippable ad in the middle of pretty wings is unforgivable RUclips.
Are you the one with "the voice" who kept getting Max's attention and told to "come up here"?
Use premium.
@@Khopotso.Lutre1936 Or download it, watch it, then delete it if you don't want to keep it. That's what I do with movies to remove ads.
*Facts* RUclips devils - so messed up. They always do it, even in the middle of Marvin Gaye's "what's going on". 🤦♀️
😂
One thing about Tiny Desk Concerts...they are never long enough!!! Maxwell is one of my favs...and this made me want to buy a ticket to see him again!!! 😊
Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite is one of my favorite albums!!! No skips
Yeah! In a ~Zone~ You can play it, clean the whole house and 'Wonder' where the time went❣ 🎼 🎶🎙 🎶💃🏽 🎶🎙
His vocal range is amazing, truly one of the best artists we have 👏👏🙌🙌🙌💐💐
When the band is dressed as a band you KNOW the groove will be that magical combination of tight and loose.
