Yeah mate, nevermind, I didnt know the original "tadow" before watching the tiny desk so first time I heard the tune was with her backing vocal and I liked it straight away. Both versions are good and its cool that they are different.
FYI: "Tadow" was an improvisational collab between FKJ and Masego, recorded live. "Nayhoo" is a song written by the band CHON, one of the most amazing progressive rock bands around, featuring Masego. They deserve credit!
He's got a long way to go before he can get to Al Jarreau level. My gut tells me that he has a VERY long way to go. Masego's talented in an amateurish way. Here's an older concert footage of Al in action from the 70's. ruclips.net/video/hhq7fSrXn0c/видео.html Go check out Al's first album he released back in 1975, he was already master level. The fact that tadow was just two gifted artists doing some freestyle messing around and boosted both of their careers . Pretty cool. True artistry. All these songs were great as well
