i will be making more videos on the do's and don'ts along with everything i've learned along the way.
apologies for the shaky video, i really need to invest in a camera. unfortunately i spent all my money on speakers lol.
“I’m middle class; don’t make a ton of money; make enough to have decent stuff”……Thank you for relating to the 99% of us who come here to watch these types of videos. Although I’m always in awe of the high end home theaters, it’s perhaps more refreshing to witness the enthusiasm of us normal folks appreciating the setups we can afford to enjoy. Keep up the good work!!
What a great comment. I couldn't have said it better myself! 🍻
Sounds like you’re working hard and grinding. We gotta treat ourselves sometimes. Ya it’s expensive, but we work hard for it and we earned it
100%agree 👍
I recently auditioned the Klipsch RP-8000F and I immediately fell in love.
They are so dynamic it's crazy. Crisp clear highs. The vocals are very very good. Like the singer stood in front of me.
Allan Taylor - Colour to the moon
Lady Gaga - I'll Never Love Again
I auditioned this two songs and it was so good I had them on repeat for like 5x each.
Crazy speakers for the money.
I completely agree with your assessment! 😊
Awesome! Have almost the same setup, but the 600M as rears, and with a Marantz SR6013. Little advice, put the center more to the edge of the cabinet, it will sound way better!
Great setup amazing remember calibration is the KEY for those speakers... turn of DYNAMIC EQ AN KEEP AUDYSSEY ON REFRENCE
No one warned me that buying an av receiver Atmos set up would lead me down this rabbit hole!!! 🙈🙈🤣😀. Amazing set up man 👌🏻🔊
It gets worse lol.... ruclips.net/video/HOQXA9-c6Ug/видео.html
Congrats bro what a great hobby this is imo nothing beats klipsch for home theater music is great too
Much appreciated man, thx for watching!
What an expensive hobby as well 😂 won’t stop me though
yo nice video man how much did it cost you man for everything in total I wanna get the same setup
I just order the Klipsch RP 8000F yesterday from Best Buy.On sell for $517.99 a pair. Be here next week..
Wow what a great deal you got, congratulations 🎊
Just wanted to say awesome setup , can definitely relate to having a limited budget to set up an awesome surround setup . My system is an older one consisting of 2 RT62 towers, RC62 center, and 4 RS52 surrounds and an old 10” velodyne running off a maranta 8012 receiver ..
Hopefully soon I’ll get some Good subs and in ceiling height speakers to round it all off 😊👍
3 years later and youtube shows me this comment 🤦♂️
Great set up. I like it. I also like the fact that you like the way YOUR system sounds.
i just wanna say im proud of what you did and i hope someday i will build myself one like yours
thanks
Thx man I really appreciate the feedback! I know one day you will blessed because of your positive attitude! Good luck on your ventures!
Love Klipsch, nice setup. Thanks Running a Yamaha RX-a3050- outlaw -7 ch amp and 2 ch Macintosh. All Klipsch speakers but sold myRF-7ii and replaced with all RC-64ii for LCR 5- Subwoofers SW-115x2; SW-112x3 . Rs62iix6 and 4 Klipsch ceiling speakers. Sounds great. Thanks for the video and CHEERS to relaxing.
That is pretty sweet dude! I wish I had room for those towers but my house is kind of small. I just had an electrician wire up my new media wall. I have a dedicated circuit for my dual subs. Another for behind the tv. Down low I have a couple more plugs for my power strips. All of them dedicated. I waited a long time to do this. I'm sure you know how long it takes to collect these things. I've had my house since 08 and I've spent the last 6 years putting my rig together and its still not done lol. I have the wall opened up to put in some lumber for my tv rack. I'm also putting in a couple cable passages, you will see no wire anywhere. I'm putting in a hidden LED light strip behind a crown trim at the ceiling. I'm going for the full theater experience. Someday I'll get that popcorn maker lol. Its a work in progress, my house is destroyed right now. I cant wait until its down. I'm still trying to decide what the first movie will be. Sweet setup dude. Mine is similar but I dont have ceiling speakers yet. We need that 2nd stimulus check! lol. Peace from Denver bro. - Gitz.
Wow man that sounds like it's gonna be sweet! You should make some videos and post progress! You're absolutely right about taking time to gather all this expensive equipment. It took me about 4 years of saving to buy this or buy that. As far as being done.... I don't think any of us are ever completely done... 😂 🤣 😂! Good luck with your setup man I hope it turns out great and you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine 🍻
Get some feet for the front of the center channel to give it a small upward angle, then rerun your speaker calibration. I’m running a Klipsch Reference premier front stage as well, and it made a huge difference.
Funny you say that because I ended up getting some up angled acoustic foam to set it on and it did make a huge difference. 🍻
Nice setup, man. Yes, not all of us are blessed with a house to have a dedicated HT. I myself has turned my apartment living room into my theater as I live alone and don’t have anyone to tell me what I can and cannot do.
Gotta love being the king of the castle! 😁
You're right.. it's not the most optimal setting but you made the most of the room you got and killed it! Great job! 👍🏽
Ty..... It's an awesome feeling when viewers appreciate the content 🍻
@@T_B_C_L yeah man I like your enthusiasm to go all the way with the home theater. The fact you're still learning and nail it this well means you'll have some awesome theaters in your future 👍🏽👍🏽
And may I add you have a wonderful set up, I believe money truly well spent
Appreciate the positive feedback 🍻
Awesome setup bro....love the average man income theory that most can relate to. I'm a fan!
Love Klipsch with the gold cones! It"s impressive to suck in the buyers right.....
Absolutely
Nice video man. That's a beautiful living room.
Appreciate the positive comment 🍻
I like this, I have been watching a few videos and started to build my home theater system in a small 2-bedroom NY apartment. The living room area is not very big so placement of the subwoofer may not be ideal. This really is a purchase I hope to move into a home with later on, so I will not be utilizing the AV receiver’s full potential for awhile.
1x Klipsch RP-504C
1x Klipsch R-115SW
2x Klipsch RP-8060FA
1x Yamaha Aventage RX-A3080 AV receiver
I’m looking for a media cabinet which will discreetly house my center channel and other components.
I have been purchasing these items throughout the year and looking forward to setting it up and watching my first movie
Oh yea man you have some awesome equipment right there. I bet you will be grinning ear to ear once you get everything setup. Good luck and I hope it's everything turns out great for you! 🎉
Dude I’m literally doing the same shit started saving last week.
Center: RP-504c
L&R front floor standing: RP-8060FA
Sub: SPL-120
Surround sound side: RP-402s
I just buy these one at a time. So far I only have the surround sounds. Next will be the sub. Then the center. The damn RP 8060FA could wait. It’s the most expensive one and fuck man we got to get two of them. I still haven’t decided which receiver and blu player to use.
Nice. Klipsch makes good stuff for the money. Thanks for sharing.
Brother i like you're set up.
Ty man really appreciate it!
Live your life Man. I am happy for you.
Nice setup bro.
Ty man!
Very nice setup enjoy
I just bought almost this exact setup, except rears 600m, some side surrounds 502s and only 2 instead of 4 Atmos speakers. Can’t wait to get it setup! Thanks for the video makes me feel better about spending that much money (also a working middle class dad)!
Hell yea man, its gonna sound awesome! Cheers 🍻 to having an in home theater that will make you smile every time you turn it up!
P. S.
It sounds awesome when you play video games especially like cod!
Very nice setup sir, I am planning to buy same setup for my new home, in india klipsch has more than twice the price than USA.....
Yea that sucks man. Here in the USA its pretty affordable. Hopefully you can find a decent price for the setup as imo these Klipsch look and sound fantastic!
Hey man! That’s a great setup, I just got myself a spl-120 and 2 r625fa to start my home theater, hoping to see more videos from you like the kind of wire you used to run them, or how to connect the hdmis to the tv! Thanks for this video
Hopefully I'll have some time soon! Thx for watching 🍻
I just purchased the exact same set up as yours. I have two SPL 100s instead of the 120s. Cant wait to get it installed and set up. I am even less tech than you are and some of the perifacial stuff that you have is way over my head. Willing to learn. Excellent review.
Man you are going to love that setup! All I do is smile when I crank it up and watch a movie. Just last night I was watching Aquaman and there is some serious LFE in that movie. Unfortunately I was only able to watch the beginning because company came over but bet I can't wait to fire it up again! Good luck with everything and if you have any questions let me know and hopefully I'll be able to help!

Nice system! Congrats
Appreciate the positive feedback 🍻
Great video bro. I’m new to this gone theatre stuff and compiling stuff. Stumbled on video as I’m researching 8000fs. Now I need to look into nvidia. Thanks.
Glad you liked the video. You definitely will not be disappointed with the 8000fs especially for the price. You can get these guys for a deal often which will make it even sweeter! 🍻
Love the video and the set up, thanks for sharing!
Nicely done … WARNING !! it will never end .
Unfortunately I've gone way past what I started out to do..... But hey it souuunnnddds awesome!
Oh me too … 4 subs power amps etc ..etc ..
love it brother. This is my dream set up.
Thanks man.... I always appreciate positive feedback 🍻
Nice
That's how my front stage should look.
Very nice set up! Love your tv. I prefer a little more bass. For my subs I have a R-112 SW and a HSU VTF-3 MK5. I have some RP8000's on the way. When I upgrade my tv and my center I will be set.
Very enjoyable video so thanks for posting 👍👍👍
I'm glad that you're happy with your Denon but my experience with Denon receivers are quite different, I can understand why people like them with their fancy graphics, latest features and of course why they're so popular... they're user-friendliness but when it comes to the most important factor the 'sound quality' let's just say I wasn't impressed! But I will admit the Denon 6500 sounded excellent for movies, particularly their uplift of the dialogue, yet when it came to the 2-channel 😔
I know what you're thinking why didn't I just pre amp it out... but still the digital amplifier that Denon uses would have still sounded way too digital for me.
This is why I went with an amplifier. 2 channel is much better now. 🍻
Well done bro. Love the setup.
Much appreciated. I just purchased a LG 77"c9 oled. I'll probably make another video about it soon. Thx for watching.
I am also looking to setup a system somewhat similar to yours. Will drop a few questions especially about the atmos side of it. Rock On.
@@agill2103 I'll help all I can, good luck with your setup!
@@T_B_C_L Hi, Hope all is good. I am planning to have a very similar setup using Klipsch. I wish to purchase front Dolby atmos enabled add-on speakers, to be placed on top of the main speaker. Question is : Could i do the same for the rear channels, placing the atmos add on speakers on top of the surround, as ceiling installation may be difficult. Thank you.
@@agill2103 well to answer your question straight the answer would be no. The rear upward firing speakers would not only interfere with the front Atmos reflection but it would be directed towards your TV eliminating its intent in the first place. If ceiling mount like mine is not feasible, you could always go with elevation technique. So instead of mounting in ceiling, speakers are mounted high, angled towards sitting position. Although it may not be optimal, it honestly still maintains very good Atmos immersion.
Very nice! Used to have that center, replaced it with a 64III. I stayed with those towers instead of the RF-7 III's - I found it better sounding to my ears.
I bet that sounds awesome!
I can't promise u there is not bad choice for any Klipsch speaker any version u have its wonderful.I own a pair fo RF-7 II there from 2010 and there still to this day outstanding. However i don't feel u need the BEST from Klipsch i have just gotten there Pair of RP-600Ms and i love them there the bookshelf speakers the one su have for the surrounds in your setup mine are the ones up from those 500Ms.and let me tell u HOLY FUCKING SHIT are they loud and i feel they are a tad better then the RF-7 II towers i own.I was thinking about buying the RP-8000F the ones u have and selling m RF-7 II because i don't have a massive room for them same goes for the center u have .All in all i promise u this u have a setup that will last u decades of joy to come u will never need to buy another setup again i promise u that.not for a extremely long ass time.
Now that was a beautiful comment.... 🍻
Man, that's a beautiful setup bro! I'm actually looking into upgrading some of my stuff as well. Been using Bose for a few years and have been wanting to get into Klipsch speakers. How are the subs? Been interested in one of those subs for a while now. But love your setup man 👍🏻
The subs sound absolutely awesome.... But of course that's in my room which is not very big! The subs have been going on sale at frys electronics quite a bit latley images.frys.com/art/email/042619_fri678jad/fri_web.html?promocode=6388887&clickid=xF51kf3YgyWDz4E1E4S1Lz0aUklwY%3A10iytgzE0#set3
Scroll down the add until you see the klipsch 15 sub. Mine are the 12s but the 15s are even better. If you can't get in on those deals Corey where I purchased all my speakers from can get you a great deal as well paducahhometheater.com
Dope system my brother
Thx man 😎
Very nice! Im going to go with the 504C as well to match my 8000F's. I dont much care for the Klipsch subs though. My HSU blows my Klipsch sub away.
Need to look at replacing my Yamaha bookshelf speakers with some Klipsch. Have the Marantz AVR. Very nice set up man!
I definitely agree that subs are probably Klipsch's weaknesses as compared to some other really good subs! Fortunately for me these 2 12's are plenty of bass for my space! Good luck with your build 👍.
@@T_B_C_L Thanks man!
Love your setup first rate 👍🏾

It better sound good. Look at them penny's everywhere

Great video, Love to see a video on the software and steps on how you ripping 4k bluray movies like to do that with my movies .
I really do need to make some follow-up videos! Hopefully soon. 😉
Very nice!!!
Setting up a theater is addictive I think, lol
It is very addictive 😂.
It's time consuming but worth it
Drooling....very nice bro.

Nice setup. What is the crossover on fronts?
The fronts are set to 60hz and everything else except subs are 80hz.
Sweet set up man
How do you save your movies to NAS?
I just send them over my wired network after I rip them on my laptop.
I just love it dude! It’s amazing
Really nice set up. I wonder why all the dislikes ?
I don't know! I guess that's the internet for you! It is what it is. Ty by the way.
honest dive-in tour bro 👏👍👌
Great looking setup man! All you need now is an OLED😉
Tell me about it! I want the LG 77" c9 oled so bad!
The Blue Collar Life I just got the 65 inch C9 about a month ago. You should do it man!

Do YOU my man. Great looking setup. As long as you and your family enjoy it. That's ALL that matters. Congrats!!

Boa tarde amigo!
Good afternoon friend! Your home theater room is fantastic, I am a fan of home theater and listening to good rock. I am delighted with your equipment. This Central Box is wonderful then, it is beautiful. Where to buy? I'm in Belo Horizonte Minas Gerais - Brazil. Where do you live? Please make a Video with the equipment on, let's hear a Rock in this beautiful Home theater.
I am planning on an update video soon!
Put sound acoustics under ur 504c
Good advice. I have since added 2 acoustic pads underneath the center that angle it it up perfectly towards the main listening position. It has really helped the overall sound, especially with speech. I really need to make an updated video! Cheers 🍻
Very good 😎👍
Please explain why the firestick 4k won't output atmos and why the shield does.
I do believe the current 4k fire sticks do indeed output Atmos but I'm not sure on which apps. I know the prime video will though. I don't use the fire stick 4k as my main source but only for the kids tvs so I don't want to give bad information, sorry!
Congrats buddy!
Should do vidoes about the plex set up and what not?
I will definitely try to get something going on how I set up the plex! Thx for the feedback!
Let's hear some sound bites. I like your setup I just want to hear what it sounds like.
I would, but honestly I don't have the proper equipment to harness the power of the sound lol. Maybe one day I can get me a proper microphone in order to accomplish this. 🍻
The fire stick doesnt output lossless audio. It only is able to output dolby digital or dolby digital plus which is lossy.
So whichever files you play on say the fire tv stick it will still only output the sound in dolby digital or dolby surround even if its a higher quality.
I use an HTPC with Jriver.
You are absolutely right and that is why in the video I state I use the Nvidia shield to play my 4k rips and not the fire stick!
@@T_B_C_L yeah best way ...not too sure about nvidia shield but i use HTPC with jriver which is good for just music as jriver by passes most of the processing the PC would normally do and leaves it unaltered. Aswel i can use a tablet or say my phone to navigate through whats on the PC and control it etc
U need a projector bro.
I reccomend optoma cinemax p2 4k lazer short throw with a elite screens 120 inch cinegray.
That tv needs to go asap.
Your sound system is bannanas....
That wall is perfect size
I have since upgraded to a LG 77"c9 oled. Maybe one day I can have a dedicated room to build a real home theater with a nice projector like you mentioned. 😊
@@T_B_C_L 77oled is a super nice display. Best image possible actually. Good choice.
I have the a 55 lg c9 as a gaming monitor.
Even a projector can't look as good as that oled.
I was looking at that wall space you had in the video and looked like you could fit a 110in screen, but I'd keep a 77 inch oled due to the superior picture quality.
Congratulations on your setup. Definitely blessed.
@@everythingaquariums7050 thx man much appreciated. 🍻

Really nice clean setup. I have a very similar setup but with Yamaha receiver. I’m still trying to learn all the settings. How do you like the ceiling Atmos speakers?
It's funny you ask because that is very subjective! Some movies have lots of atmos sound while others don't! Even though my set up is probably worse case scenario(vaulted ceilings), in the movies with lots of overhead atmos it really sounds amazing! It's actually hard to pinpoint where the sound is coming from but I guess that's the point. If A helicopter flys over you you can definitely feel emersed in the moment. I would definitely do it again.
The Blue Collar Life I meant to ask you where you got your entertainment center.

You need blu ray disc bro because it’s formatted with amazing sounds. Netflix or Hulu don’t give you real theater sounds.
I have an xbox one x for 4kuhd blurays but besides that I rip all my blurays to a plex server with truehd 7.1 sounds. 😊
@@T_B_C_L exactly, I didn't buy a 4k player, I just rip my 4k blurays and play them through my shield.
@@Y0mAmA84 best way to do it in my opinion! Rip the 4k movie then log it away so the disc can never be scratched and it's there if you need to rerip!
Love my Apple 4K TV for storage of my 4k movies and real sounds too lol
@@T_B_C_L
Nothing can beat a blu ray player for quality of image and sound. A native 7.1 sound amazing on blu ray.
Do you find that the two SPL 120 were enough power and bass with your set up? I too have the RP 8000Fs. I was thinking of going with the two SPL 120 or one SPL 150.
And what is your opinion on your 504C center speaker? I’m deciding on that or the 404C.
Thanks in advance.
Once I isolated and slightly angled the 504C from my TV stand it really came to life. Totally happy with it. As far as the spl120s we'll I actually wanted to go with 2 spl150s but space is very limited in my setup and I just could not fit them. Are they enough bass... I would have to say yes. I have them less than half on the gain and I'm a pretty big bass head. Ive been playing cod modern warfare as of late and my wife says it sounds like actually explosions going on.... Lol! So far I'm 100% happy with the movie aspect. I do listen to music occasionally but I'm still trying to dial that in a bit.
The Blue Collar Life The Blue Collar Life Thanks for your reply. What do you think of the center RP-404C? Would that be less than adequate for a set up as such yours? Im deciding between that and the RP-504C.
If you are mainly using this setup for movie watching I would definitely go with the 504c as the center channel is extremely important. If you have not purchased yet maybe try Corey at +12705568427. He is an authorized dealer for Klipsch and will probably beat any price out there. He can probably make up the price difference. paducahhometheater.com
Am so undecided whether to go with a SvS ultra bookshelves or Klipsch home theater 5.1 system, Or a Sonos Arc, 2 Sonos Fives and a subs, Any recommendations?
Well, its really hard for me to make a recommendation as every space has pluses and minuses when picking equipment. My setup for instance is stuffed with equipment in a small space. For some probably not optimal but for me, I like the overwhelming look of larger speakers. Now as far as sound. I have heard obviously Klipsch, svs and a Sonos system along with bose and a few others. All of them sounded good, way better than a sound bar or TV speakers.... Like way better. If you are only using the speakers for home theater in a smaller space all should do fine but if a larger space and using for music.... Well, imo svs or Klipsch for sure. Having at least 2 subs really makes a big difference to fill in some nulls you may get with one, so I would keep that on mind. I was just listening to some music last night and I had it cranked a bit in 2 channel direct! Man... I really love the way those towers sound especially since adding the amp. I know I probably wasn't much help but also you need to remember, how you set everything up plays a really big part in the overall sound and satisfaction of your system. Good luck!
@@T_B_C_L Thanks you for the advice you were a big help😁, My main concern also is the extra work, Using a Avr system with multiple speakers and running wire in wall or under carpet can be very time consuming, A Sonos 5.1 system is basically plug and play lol, But I know the sound quality will not be as good as a full home theater system so tuff decision, By the way brotha your system looks bad azz looks really nice.
@@monroethegreat7539 Yes, you absolutely right about being lots of extra work running wire so that's a big part of the decision. I actually ran my rear speaker wire along the baseboard in the flat wire cover type stuff you can buy at home depot. It's barely noticeable. Now the Atmos ceiling speakers....that was a real pita. Thank God you only have to do it once! I always appreciate positive feedback 🍻

@@curtisnelson7765 originally the Denon powered everything but I have since added an Amp. I talk about it in this video. ruclips.net/video/GYKK6P_S9Bo/видео.htmlsi=3kWvunZSF-8Qd8GU
Don't You thinks, 112 (or 115) would look much better with Premiere series?
I personally like 115 much more, and it has similar to Premiere series design. But I'm afraid of 112/115's amp issues.
You are right about the Amp issues on those. As far as matching, these spl-120s match perfectly. I would have went with the spl-150s if they would have fit.
Nice job man, do those speakers have covers that go over the front? I’m looking at buying some R-625FA’s
Yes they do, I just had them off for the video! I have kids and dogs so no way will I leave the grills off!
Im curious, what is your crossover configuration on your system? large, small and if small what hz did you set your speakers?
All speakers are set to small and crossed over at 80hz except fronts, they are at 60hz. I tried all kinda different settings and these have sounded the best so far. Subs are set to LFE+main at 110hz.
Awesome setup.. Definitely can’t go wrong with Klipsch , and they last a long time . Have a question, do you rip your movies on a computer ?
I use my laptop with an external bluray disc drive. For the software I just use MAKEMKV.
I fear for your denon overheating in that cabinet.
I did at first and that may be the reason I had an issue with the power supply a while back. I have since upgraded and added a 5 channel amp and neither get hot at all now. I also added a fan in the rear to pull air and help circulate any hot air away. I'm actually uploading an update video of my new equipment as we speak. Thx for watching 🍻
I really just wanted to hear those speakers
Yea it's hard to play any kind of sound on RUclips without getting copyright strike!
Awesome. I'm thinking of going with svs prime tower system wit dual sb1000s and denon4500... I was enticed by Klipse for aestetics but svs bill of rights won me over. Klipse or svs? Su h a hard decision.
I've heard both and both are awesome! My only advice to you would be if you go svs you will most likely need some sort of amplification as they are more power hungry. Although I may add a 5 channel amp later, I would not say it's a necessity with the klipsch.
I hate to say it but i'm your 666th upthumb ....
Damn, you're right 😳
@@T_B_C_L It's still 666 lol
Seems like your TV is to small for that setup lol I’m sure it looks smaller then in real life but you could totally fit a bigger TV in between those speakers.

Did you do the TV upgrade yet? System looks great
I did upgrade to a 77" LG C9 oled a few months later. I'm currently looking at a 83"Samsung s90c oled that's on sale for $2449. That's a pretty good deal for that TV.
@T_B_C_L The entertainment center looks great... I'm considering the R-525fa (fronts), R-52C (center), R-41 (surround), & 2 SPL-120 (subs). All driven by an Onkyo 6050. I currently have it connected to the speakers from a 15-year-old Onkyo theater system. It's still serviceable, but the HI-fi sound of Klipsch is amazing!
Do you have any videos of your current setup?
@@TheMrTJOX currently I do not but maybe it time to make an update video 🤔 I will say I still love this system though.
Do the speakers come with a mesh cover?
Yes they all come with black speaker grills. All magnetic except the subwoofers!
