If I were to get this speaker set, for a simple 5.1 setup, and later got a reciever that can do 5.1.2 or even more, do you think these satellites would work OK as overheads with some nicer bookshelf Klipsch speakers as fronts? Everything is connected to the avr and one single hdmi cord goes from avr to TV
Can you plug in the sub with wires also? And also can't tell, does the speaker wire you linked come with that clear cable jacket? It looks like just wiring when it's on the roll, but then in the next shot it has the jacket on it...
Yes all wire has a clear rubber coating of some sort otherwise its extremely unsafe. No this sub can't be played with speakers wire only RCA
@@Kpaceguy Thanks for the reply. Exactly why I was wondering about the speaker wire haha, I figured it would be very dangerous if it didn't come with the coating xD.
Do you need to buy a recover or does it come with everything you need?
You'll need a receiver
You could use a no stud wall mount to hang this 75" tv. I use one on my TV and my wall is less than 1/8 in thick. I live in a trailer.
I am about to install speakers. My question is do I press the button underneath the speaker and insert the wire then let go to lock the wires in? I can’t find a video on it…I’m used to the twisting knob version.
Yes you press it down and the hole insert opens for you. When you release the button it closes. It's like a spring
Thank you!!!!
@@ClaraLeekurara83 you're welcome
Thanks for the video. Im about to hook these up in my den! You're good vibes man you got my sub.
I appreciate it my guy!
simple yet good 👌👍
What connection have you used to connect the receiver to the TV. I am using HDMI arc and no sound comes and then switched to Optical and sound comes through only two speakers. What do you think I should do to rectify these?
Make sure your TV is set to hdmi out/arc in the settings.
@@Kpaceguy mine is Sony XBR65X850D and not sure how to enable this as it is little different from other brands
I've never owned a Sony TV some I'm not sure. Its usually called hdmi-cec or something like that. Let's your TV and receiver communicate. But regardless you want your hdmi plugged into the TVs HDMI ARC port
It's called Bravia link on Sony tv's.
Got it fixed. Understood that none of the other HDMI ports be used in TV if Arc HDMI port has to work.
If I were to get this speaker set, for a simple 5.1 setup, and later got a reciever that can do 5.1.2 or even more, do you think these satellites would work OK as overheads with some nicer bookshelf Klipsch speakers as fronts? I would be able to mount or hang them OK, my cabin has open 2nd floor joists and blocking made of rough cut lumber...and log walls on 3 sides of the living room...
Thinking these speakers would spumd better than the current Bose Acoustimass 10 from the mid 90s
Yes I think they would do well. You'd have to cross them over pretty high but they'd do well. I actually recommend klipsch's other home theater pack I reviewed shortly after the video you watched as they have a base that makes it super easy to mount upside down or angle them

Hi, I have denon 7.1 receiver and klipsch 5.1 reference pack. I want to add 2 in-ceiling Klipsch speakers. Can you plz suggest what goes best with this setup I have. Thanks...
Find any kind of klipsch in ceiling speakers that fit your budget
Thank you
This dude better have gotten a raise for this sheesh
Noope
Where do you put the audio single cord piece on ur reciever in subwoofer port or audio port to u it wireless
Subwoofer output
Do you think this system sounds way better than a Atmos soundbar with rear surrounds speakers? (For example: Samsung hw-q950t, LG SL11YG, Vizio Elevate, ext.)
Yes for sure
Would this system be any good for a larger room? We have a medium sized living room but also have 12 foot ceilings and the LR opens to the kitchen. This systems looks great but do you think it would work in a room as I described?
I would look at getting a very good bookshelf if you want to keep things minimal. Or.. if you were to use this system you'd need a very good sub so you cross the satellites very high
@@Kpaceguy Thank you. I’ve got the Sony ZF9 Atmos Sounbar with rear speakers right now and it’s subpar. Looking to upgrade to 5.1.4. Think I’ll go Klipsch and bookshelf speakers like you suggest. Klipsch makes a 12” wireless sub.
I'm using the same speaker package and amp, can you tell me where the crossover dial should be set on the back of the speaker?

@@Kpaceguy ok thanks
You going to be okay you're not going to get fired you done a good job I would even hire you to fix my surround sound system
I still work here so we're good lol
Just wondering what type of wall mount you used for the speakers?
Nails
I just bought this as my first surround sound set up and I need help with calibration. Lowest frequency response on the the satellites and center is 110 Hz so I set crossover to 120 Hz. And for the subs, it can do 120 Hz but idk if I should should lower it to maybe like 100 Hz. What would you do? Thanks

@@Kpaceguy Thank you!
Just picked this up how would I set this up to a viewsonic projector do I need a receiver I have the two av cables red and white on the back of the projector?
yes most have a receiver
Can these speakers be used wireless/bluetooth if my TV comes with bluetooth? (I have a samsung tu7000 75”)
No
Love your videos man. I have a denon avr-s750h with the klipsch 5.1 reference theater pack what crossover levels should i use for all my speakers
Thanks for watching!
Awesome !! Just got my speakers and actually ordered the receiver you recommended!!!
Question: how do you connect the receiver to the TV (vizio) so the audio runs the; TV, Amazon box, cable box, all on one without having to switch around on the remotes?? Thank you!!
HDMI ARC
Thank YOU!!
I bought this same klipsch speaker set if I already have another sub it’s a Sony 10” can I still connect it on my receiver and run it with the klipsch set . Is there a difference 8” sub and 10” sub if I connect them.
10in typically can play louder and lower
I have a 12 Guage wire somehow I also manage to push it in the speaker hole.. any issues with using 12??
nope other than it barely fitting lol
My concern is the rca cables can it work on pc instead of the wireless cable?
no
@@Kpaceguy yea i know ty my friend
Hi I bought exactly the same one at Costco (I have not open it yet). I was hoping to use it on my Desktop Computer.....Do I need a Receiver for this type of speaker??? Not sure if bought the correct speaker set for my computer. LOL Please advise. Thanks!
Yes you need something to provide power and sound to. Some sort of amplifier
@@Kpaceguy Oh really! man...now I have to spend more $$$ on that receiver : ( I only have a Desktop Computer... and this 5.1 Klipsch
@@michaelcasareo8450 accessories4less.com look there
Good Stuff! I just bought the system and picked up a couple extra satellites to turn it into a 7.2 system. Any thoughts on that?
If you have the room for it and can set it up correctly its a much better experience
New to all this home Theater thing but I’m looking to buy the Klipsch! My question is do I need that Yamaha RX?
You can choose any av receiver you want
@@Kpaceguy thank you so much! And another question do I need it? Or can I install the klipsch with out the receiver?
@@Pulga8967 no
What mount did you use for those speakers?
I have the same speaker and just can’t figure out how to securely mount it to drywall
Looks like it was just a nail. I would try to find something else.
@@stevethomas2285 exactly!! Even I was wondering how just a nail was used for a screw mount..
Still looking for that something else
Awesome video man congrats 🎊 👏🏽, quick question, so we can’t use the klipsch theater pack without a receiver??
You need SOMETHING to provide power
Thanks for the video! I had a question on how you set up the crossover preferences for the satellites, I see on the manufacturers website that they can reach 110 Hz did you set it at 110 Hz or did you bump it up to 120 Hz? Thanks!
120hz
@@Kpaceguy Thank you! Keep up the good work!
@@Joshmedo I appreciate it
Hi, i purchased this Klipsch 5.1 system with the wireless subwoofer. My question is where does the RCA jack on the wireless transmitter go on the receiver? I have a Denon 2600H receiver. Greatly appreciate if anyone can provide some guidance.
Subwoofer out
Wow Great Amazing Bravo 🎉🎂🍿
Hi from India 🇮🇳
I appreciate it
Your boss writes the checks, but you have a wealth of better speakers I'm guessing lol 😁
You'd be correct
@@Kpaceguy PS loving my LSiM 702 fx as STEREO bookshelves. 2, 702s for $300... or 2, 703s for $800. I'm sure the 703 is more appropriate but I'm a cheapskate, happy regardless. Tweeter section is clean AF! 🥰 Love em
Do you need a receiver to run this system or can it run straight from the tv
Receiver is needed
My room isn’t symmetrical at all can I still make it work with these?
Yes
Can you still use wires for the sub if you don't want to use wireless.
Yes
I have the 2.1 Klipsch computer system. I bought to replacement satellite speakers to make it a 4.1. I'm impressed but now I had to buy a new TV and my Samsung 65 inch doesn't have the headphone jack on back like my other Samsung did. Im wonder if I can get a optic to 3.5mm would that work. I seen where you can get a adapter for consoles and blue ray players but I just wanna use it for my TV. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Excellent work…
Thank you!
Question What can you say to wall mount them?
