@@T_B_C_LI love the setup in a living room, I’ve almost the situation in our living room. We’re having 2 dogs and one cat and the know in a way that the area in front of my loudspeakers and equipment is restricted area 🤣 Although there is room and space enough in our house for building a decent hometheater, I’ve decided to leave it in the living room . There are 13 loudspeakers and 2 subs in a normal sized living room 😅 So it looks crazy for some people
Mate , I've just bought the klipsch rp-1200sw and it has completely transformed my home theater! It replaced 2 svs sb-1000 pros, different league. Wish I had bought this in the 1st place. Svs a super expensive in uk , the klipsch rp-1200sw was £400 cheaper than the pb2000. I don't feel the need to go dual subs tbh , this is more than enough so far and gain is only on 2 !
I've never personally owned any svs equipment but I know some that do. Honestly with my ears the klipsch rp line is just as good and usually for less money. I'm still rocking these spl-120 and they are way more than enough bass in my setup. Good to hear the Klipsch worked out for ya. Cheers to money well spent 🍻
Just got the Klipsch RP1000SW last week. Very different sound from my last subwoofer. This one hits harder and goes deeper but you cannot tell it’s even turned on until it vibrates the couch. When it does it’s not overkill. You feel it but it’s not a bass monster. Even when it’s kicking it blends in with the rest of the system and doesn’t draw attention to itself still feeling like it’s not turned on. My last Klipsch sub was a cheap one and you could tell it was turned on and working at all times.
@@T_B_C_L The thing that I wasn’t expecting was the rest of my system now sounds clearer and more theater like. I used to have to watch with captions on on certain movies or scenes. Now I don’t
I was going to sell my old sub but I think I might try hooking it back up and running two subs to see how it sounds. I’m thinking about getting another RP1000SW sometime in the future, especially if the prices drop.
@@dperr338 I will say having 2 subs makes a huge difference, at least in my opinion. The bass provided, especially for movies, is just so intense. Explosions, gun fire, anything with intensity is just magnificent. When I initially set everything up I tested just one sub and then 2. Imo having at least 2 subs is the way to go.
@@T_B_C_L I really just want two for equaling out the bass response in the room. I have a smaller room but bass is still a bit stronger on one side of the room. I tried using my old wireless transmitter to put it in the more ideal location I found from doing the subwoofer crawl but for some reason this new sub doesn’t work good with it. Not sure why but the auto calibration mic sets the sub at like 30+ft and like +6 db. With wired connection and in front of room its at 14 ft +1 db.
Does the xbox ever get hot in that spot I'm ordering a new cabinet and was going to put it in the same place as yours I love the whole set up by the way so I subscribed
I've never had any issues at all with my Xbox or any of my equipment. I do, however, have a cheap USB powered fan behind the Xbox exhaust fan that helps to pull the hot air to the rear of the cabinet opening. I do have dogs, so once a month, I get in there with a vacuum and clean all the dust bunnies up. Appreciate the subscribe 😊
Very cool setup. However, if it was mine, I would bring the centre channel to the outside edge of the cabinet. If you're a heavy listener.. (which I would imagine having it in your living room, you indeed are) How the loss of slightly delayed reflected sound.. now helps with dialogue intelligibility If you have a coffee table, try throwing a blanket over that, too. You'd be surprised
This is good advise and I tried many different versions of moving this and covering that. Ultimately angling the center channel up just a bit sounded best and it didn't matter whether it was all the way back or all the way forward. But, Now that I think about it 🤔, I did do my testing with a different coffee table. It may be time to do a bit more testing. Thanks for the input 🍻
@@PIPERBOYWILLIAMS I've had this setup for 4+ years now and have loved every minute of it. Everyone that has heard my setup has been impressed, especially considering my space. Why in the world would I change something if I'm completely happy with it?
@@T_B_C_L I didn’t think that it doesn’t. I have the same TV in 65”, that’s why I was surprised that your Xbox is not supporting Dolby vision gaming as you said it’s because it’s an older model TV. So I thought that was odd as I know it does Dolby vision. Not sure why it won’t do it in gaming. But I don’t have an Xbox anyway got ps5 so I wouldn’t know. Otherwise you got a fantastic setup. I never heard a Klipsch setup bet it sounds stunning when watching a big action scene. I have monitor audio and my room is far smaller than yours.
@spudo133 ohhh, I see. Yea ,I'm pretty sure the c10 on up all support Dolby vision gaming. It's really not that big a deal though. This tv is getting pretty old so I'll be replacing soon. Klipsch sounds great, main and movies, I bought fronts Rp-8000f, Center speakers , is there a big difference between 450c and 504c? ?
I believe the only difference is the 504c is ment to match up with the rp8000f and the 450c is ment to match with the 6inch version.

I don’t know. If those subs are not knocking those candles off the wall then you may want to consider an upgrade. lol. Looks great!
I had to anchor those downs with grade 8 bolts so they didn't explode
Where are the front speakers placed normally?
