Just to add to this, I go this set up for 799.99 in store at costco, then bought two pair of the surrounds, (R41-M) to make mine a 7.0.4 system, for that I paid 999.99 before tax. then I bought two SVS PB-1000 Pro subs to go with them, and a Denon X3700h AVR to top it poff as well as a 2 channel monoprice amp to run the last two channels. all told it is awesome!! I had been shopping soundbars then found this set up from Elan Osbornes youtube channel. this was the best thing I added to our tv. Now it sounds unreal, so amazing!! The Klipsch subs are garbage, go with the SVS for ultimate subwoofer precise bass.
I just noticed you got R51-M surrounds, when I bought this kit it came with R41-M surrounds it was 799 in store or 899 online. Where exactly did you buy this kit that it came with the larger surrounds?
Thank you for an excellent review. Finally after a lot of research I decided to buy this and just realized that its out of stock in Arizona(Costco). I called them up and was saddened to know that its discontinued and will not be back in stock. I do see that the item shows available when I enter a California Zip Code. Whoever bought this recently can you please share in which location its available? Is there an economic option to ship 150 lbs from California to Arizona? Thanks a lot!
If you are still in the market for a system, the 5.0.2 system is available again in some zip codes (not all, sadly). Just received mine today, ordered it on Saturday night.
Okay I finally got this system 5.0.2.,and the surround back left and right are not working same with the center channel. I have them plugged in, in the correct plug in the back of the receiver. I plugged in the mic set up it comes with the receiver and it does make noise individually each channel speaker. I made sure to choose 5.2.2 option on the setup input as I have in my living space but no good outcome :/. Please help. Left and right surround back as well center speaker not playing audio while playing movie/music. The receiver I’m using is the Onkyo TX-NR6050
it might be that the audio you are playing is not recorded in an appropriate format like surround sound. For the music you should be switching it to stereo 2 channel mode and it should be playing from all speakers
I was excited too when I got mine. Then I listened to it... Perfect system for a college student in a dorm as a starter unit. Beyond that, unless it is "free", I highly recommend doing some research. Please. These are all starter speakers that sound mediocre, especially without a sub. I have replaced every single speaker here.

Thanks for watching! I’ll get a true review out soon too!
You have the exact same setup I'm actually looking to get except I was thinking about getting a Yamaha receiver instead of the Denon.

The costco description says they come with r-41 speakers not the r-51 did they send them as a mistake?
I was wondering the same?
I am wondering the same thing too. I just got this set in the mail about two days ago and i got r41m. Looks like he got lucky.
I ordered (2) of the 5.0.2 systems from Costco and both came with the R41M bookshelf speakers.
41's
you ever do a testing video on them?

This was such an AMAZING deal.
Not sure how much to ship but the one in Torrance CA has a bunch of them

Sadly you can't ship from Costco warehouse to warehouse. They're only available in California.
:-(
What kind of receiver would you recommend for this set up?
Probably Onkyo or Denon. Whatever has the features you want at the lowest cost.

Thanks for the unboxing video. I am not able to find the setup video. Can you pls share the link of the setup video. Thanks
Its the Onkyo set up video.
Does anyone know if included speaker wire are in wall rated? I didn’t find any details.
I dont think so.
Does this package come with any cables? About to pull the trigger but there’s hardly any information out there about the cables
That I don’t remember at this point.
@@JilesMcCoy There were no cables in the box, they were delivered last month
@@anilk1241 Right on
I have the RP line and I like them. I know theirs better speakers but I’m good with mine.
Klipsch is good stuff!
Do they have these in any Costco stores in Georgia
Does it not come with any cables included in the box so you can hook it up to the amp?
Its been a looonnnggg time since I did this one. Don't remember the specifics.
What receiver to run with this costco setup?
Costco is pretty good to get audio equipment because there return policy is great 👍🏻
Nice
So is this type of system still available for roughly the same price??? Costco only has a 5.2 system for $1800???
You have to keep your eyes out for good prices.
On the floor speakers, which hook up is for the atmos speakers? The top or the bottom? Thanks.
I believe it was the top.
@@JilesMcCoy Thank you for the help. Much appreciated!
I've been wanting to get the big tower setup I see at Costco for $800
Awesome!
R51m can be used on front as well inplace of R625fa?
They could. You need a sub though.
So you forgot to make/post the full setup of those speakers and receiver ?!?!
Not forgot, still working on it.
How come the links no longer work for the chase thing????
Should be working now.
How much cost?
Its in the video title...
Do you have a reference or item number
It might not be available right now.
They are no more available in stores or in Costco
Selling like hotcakes!!!
My lords... For that money I can barely get the towers and the center over here 😭😭😭
It was a really good deal.
@@JilesMcCoy Very good deal! I am jealous!
This costs $2000 in India. People are blessed to be born in USA, the greatest country in the world.
Ouch :-(
Nope, it is over $3500 now. It's hellhole for audio enthusiasts.
good stuff
Thanks!
Should have jumped on this one. No longer at Costco and the manufacture has the set for $2,500.
Amazing deal, this.
@@JilesMcCoy what?????
Do I need to buy extra speaker wines for the atmos and subwoofet?
The atmos is connected with speaker wire and the sub with RCA cables.
@@JilesMcCoy Okay , I thought Costco only included 5 sets of wires. will need 2 more right? I just ordered and waiting for delivery this week.
@@WaynesWealth it should have the wires you need. Let us know what you get.
@@JilesMcCoy Okay, thanks you.
And the follow up video?
Coming slowly but surely!
crazy deal
Thanks!
I went to Costco today and they didn’t have this setup. There was a more affordable 5.1.2 cinematic system
Do you remember what gear it had?
I want to buy it
DO eeeeet
New to the channel.
Welcome!!!
its 5.0.2 as said on their web site why say different
This is with an added subwoofer.
I was excited too when I got mine. Then I listened to it... Perfect system for a college student in a dorm as a starter unit. Beyond that, unless it is "free", I highly recommend doing some research. Please. These are all starter speakers that sound mediocre, especially without a sub.

Why do I feel like you're lying lol. Buy the kit for 1000 just to replace all of the speakers
Ain't nothing FREE ... there is always a price to pay.
Thanks for watching!
