Great coverage of these speakers. They're very fun and enjoyable all around. I know some people don't like Klipsch, but I really do enjoy the brand for movies and music.
@@SpencersStuffTV but I'm looking for that warm/mellow sound for jazz, are they the right speakers? People say the midrange/vocal sounds forwarded. Having a metal dome and tweeter I'm worried they sound cold/shrill with that metallic sound
Nice review. I have the RP-600m II, and mostly agree. The best thing with this Klipsch Reference Premiere line is that the clarity and detail is there, so if you are treble sensitive the high frequencies will simply be being reduced to your comfort level via EQ, and not boosted (and thus not pushed to distortion attempting to reveal details other speakers cannot do). The mids and staging are otherwise quite good on these, but there is also 2 things about the sound that are very special like this reviewer mentioned. 1. They are FUN without throwing out their hi-fi credentials. 2. They have low enough distortion to truly sound alive and [mostly] transparent in presenting a particular recording's timbre with acoustic music like jazz, classical or ambient, yet their dynamics will totally kick your ass with rock and EDM. I really like them. They have character, and it's a high quality and fun one.
I think making a fine mesh grill which was mostly transparent would be a good idea, though personally because I'm a klutz I do keep the grills on except for when I'm planning to have someone over then I care more about the look.
I love these speakers! I cut em at 60hz. Great two channel paired with a couple subs... Great primarys for home theatre. Forward sounding Klipsch is crisp with a fair amount of low end extension while the mids are spot on...Also fantastic at lower volumes... Zero complaints! Would highly recommend. 😊
Hi , Noob here.... Im getting the 8000 II for xmas and i'm looking for hz suggestions, Im also getting 600M II and 504C (gen 1) and 500SA II, any recommendation on what Hz i should set them all at?
Can we all ban together and get a new cabinet finish. Love klipsch but give me a premium cabinet option. Gloss white ...gloss red .... oak cherry a blue .. something. Oh and another thing let's us change the damn feet!!!😂
I want to replace my current front L&R tower speakers, an older Polk Audio RTi-2000p. I want a brighter sounding speakers, should I go with RP-8000III? Will I miss some mids which I get from the Polk? My polks are still going strong, but the sound are just subdued. They are perfect for jazz though.
Check out the JBL HDI series, the 3600s or 3800s. I’ve had the 3800s for 2 years after owning the RF7i’s for 13 years. The JBL’s are a great combination of clarity, detail, and midrange while having a full bodied and slightly forward sound. If you like jazz, these JBL’s will rock your world!
NIce review, but the video is a little misleading. It makes them look like they are over 6 feet tall, they are not. They are only a little over waist high. Even the RF 7III's (which are bigger), are only just over 4" tall. Ask me how I know, I have both. Fabulous speakers though.
I'll tell you with the little be but of dislike of klipsch product speakers they make pretty darn good speakers with solid craftsmanship from years of quality made materials they are still beloved regardless of the latest trend of speaker line out there that coming from other places that maybe good and all but klipsch is still going on strong and will for years to come or else they wouldn't be in business still.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the best amplifier for you. This choice must be made only by you. The fact is that there is a lot of personal in the sound and, for example, the sound that I like may not suit you at all. There is only one good advice here - go to a hi-fi place and listen to different combinations yourself. Then you can definitely choose the best option for you.
I absolutely love these with the STR AZ5000ES, my old Def Tech 2002 center channel, and my old Def Tech bookshelf on the sides of my couch. The 360 sound mapping make these unbelievable as a home theater system....do you have a recommendation for a sub?
Most "audiophiles" buy speakers ...then buy music they don't like to get the most out of the speakers. Makes no sense. Im all about broadening your horizens but not just to hear the spit coming out the singers mouth or them turning the pages of the lyrics while their singing. I would rather save some cash and get the model that gives you real world, everyday performance for things your do everyday...like watch TV, Play video games, and listen to low quality streaming music since physical media isn't as hot as it once was even though it's making a huge comeback. I know Im not running out and buying a record player and a bunch of albums from artist I don't really care for the music just to hear the shining parts of my speakers.
One thing i love about Klipsch...is that so many Audiosnobs up their nose at them. This lets me know they are for me & will keep getting my money....
I too am running a Parasound Hint 6 into RP-8000F, but MK1. I absolutely love this pairing!

Exactly
so do they sound cold/shrill?
@@MasterofPlay7 nope. They're detailed and dynamic speakers
@@MasterofPlay7 you'll get solid full range playback without needing a subwoofer

Lol same, I want them to know I spent money on my speakers and didn't pick them up from goodwill 😂
I have the Gen one and I'm happy if I have to upgrade the speakers I will definitely go for the JBL 100 classic series
Тоже купил 8000ые, пол года послушал, но потом все таки вернул BW 604 обратно.
Just bought a pair of these speakers for my beach house . They sound great if your on the fence get them.

Listen to some 3 way klipch speakers, the heritage line is the real deal the forte and Cornwall are sublime
The new Cornwalls are mighty impressive

Hello, has someone compared these speakers to Tannoy revolution xt8f‽ Thank you
Which one would you recommend in a 7.2.4 setup, room size 15'x15', the 6000F or 8000F?

coming to brazil i love home theater
The brightness is the issue for me, I love to listen my music loud, I'm sure they sound impeccable but the brightness may be too much.
If you EQ them. They will sound amazing and to your liking.
Would you pair the RP-6000F II with RP-404C II or RP-504C II center speaker?
Why not
@@yournightmare9999 RP-404C II or RP-504C II?
@@mseker66 Yes.
So why don't klipsch build 3 way speakers...or do they..?
They do. The Heritage series, if you have a few thousand dollars handy.
@Frank-rb8vz I'll never know...just bought a set of cerwin vega with dual 8 woofers 3 way and I'm pleased...don't need a subwoofer anymore
Did u just drop them in the boiler
Crispy
The difference between the gen1 and gen 2 is very noticable. A completely different speaker. Well worth the price difference.
