I'm confused... How does the height channel signal come from the Tower Atmos hook-up?? *The the Atmos channel signals eminate from separate channels on the receiver. No Atmos signal is being transmitted to the towers.. Obviously, there must be in line Atmos channel connections at the bottom of the Towers. BUT, still confused why you wouldn't just run straight cable to the Atmos speaker with nothing in-between. Seems the signal strength would be compromised by adding more connections into the path...
Basically its just an extension, instead of running wire to the atmos speaker and having it drip down the back of the speaker, its build in so that you can just connect them and have all the cables at the bottom. Specifically talking about pairing it with something like this - www.walts.com/speakers/add_on_speakers/klipsch-add_on_speakers-rp-500sa-ii-walnut
Great video. So does this mean I don’t need two height speaker channels in my Marantz AV 7706 to connect the Atmos speakers sitting on top of the towers? Does the tower do all the processing just from the speaker connections on the towers or do the towers now need 4 wires coming in to them? Hope that makes sense.
Thanks!!! so basically these just give you more options, the terminals act as like an "extension cord" so instead of two wires you would sill need 4 like your connecting them separately in the ceiling ect... it basically just allows for seamless cable management.
Would these speakers overpower my bedroom/HT? I have RP-600Miis as my main speakers on the long wall of my ~13x16 bedroom...speakers are about 6-7 ft from the MLP (one lounge chair). It's a 7.2.4 setup overall.
A lot of people really like Klipsch's horn loaded nature. If your that particular with the sound I would see if you can listen to them in a showroom first before swapping them.
I have the 8000F+II and there are no other towers under $4000 that i'd rather have, and I've heard the competition. Audiosnobs love the ooey gooey laid back sound. None of that appeals to me because it's unrealistic and boring. POLK, Vandersteen or sonus faber in HT? LOL! What a joke. Or for metal/edm? sad. Klipsch sound more like real instruments. And oh BTW- real music IS forward and a bit bright. Drums need not sound like they are behind a blanket. zzzz.
I have this speakers but Is a matter of taste, This speakers have a live sound and I love it, but sometimes the midrange screams and a Sonus Faber will never scream in your face, it always sounds softer. Softer sounding speakers can be more expensive because they require more crossover parts for tuning and attenuation, and it takes more time to make the speaker sound how is required. When I want to rest my ears I use another speakers that I have, Martin Logan SL3, they sound softer, ultra realistic, and more relaxed, but if I want to hear brutal dynamics and fun sound, I use the Klipsch speakers.

I really would like to know how these sound in comparison to my rp280f. How much is the bass drop recognisable? What changed in terms of mids and heights? Anyone had a direct comparison? I'd like to know since the previous model didn't make the cut for me over the rp280f. 😅
I have the rp280fs and the RP8000f2 is being delivered this week. Amazing Black Friday price right now through an authorized Klipsch reseller. At $1000 for the pair The rp280fs don’t seem to need a subwoofer for movies in my opinion depending on the room size I have not used them for music yet
I guess I should have been a little more thorough, apologies. I was thinking that if you are interested in these speakers you would know that you still need to run cables just not down the back.
i do not know what is the purpose of a sound test which you include in your review when everyone listens the sound test through the speakers he has near him ...
Yes! This is my personal opinion as well, however I dont make these videos for me, I make them for the average consumer and alot of people want to hear them even though there is no way to get an actual idea of how they sound without actually doing a demo.
This guy lost me when he recommended specific cables. Ofc copper is copper my friend. It's been proven over and over for years now that higher quality cables do not outperform cheaper cables.
Its not performance. It wont make it sound better, less bad... There are millions of tiny pieces of information flowing though a cable and if its a poorly insulated cable your more susceptible to noise and distortion. I only believe this because I have heard an extensive demo between different cables and could actually hear a difference, less noise and an overall clear'er sound.
The goal of the videos is to stay away from the nitty and gritty, make it as easy to understand for the average consumer and help them in their shopping journey. Sure we could go into tests and deep specs ect.... but there are already hundreds of audio channels doing that, so w just want to be different!
Got my RP8000f II Paired with my Pioneer LX505AV and wow love it
Nice!
Just bought a pair of these from you guys. Should be here any minute
Amazing! Did this video help in your shopping journey?!

If you were Bi-amping does that mean you have to use 3 sets of outputs from your AVR?

no, Volume is your friend so you would just have a larger range to work with!
would a 504C (gen 1) be good center to pair?
Yes ofcourse, alot of people stop at towers so if you are ready for a center channel it will no matter what add a ton to the system!
I have Polk Audio RT-2000P for the LR fronts. Smooth but seems subdued for my taste. Would the Klipsch " open up " the sound?
A lot of people really like Klipsch's horn loaded nature. If your that particular with the sound I would see if you can listen to them in a showroom first before swapping them.
Yes Polks are subdued whereas Klipsch are much livelier.
I am from India and I am considering buying Klipsch RP-8000F-II. May I know the differences between these models (i.e. RP-8000-II and RP-8000F II) ?
should be the same, I think someone just made a typo.

Oh man, try Triangle Antal ez...same money, more realistic and stage sound! klipsch is good, very good! but he is not the only one here in this rank💰

@@markwilliams5792 I'm aiming the big boyz, but have you heard them in-store? I heard the bass is not that deep
Hey man, I own these. You're misguiding people on the height speaker connection. You still have to run the wire to your receiver

Klipsch or Kef?
I like Klipsch more but thats probably because of my American bias
