Another great haul for the Mighty Sorin Vinyl! Love all the Funk R&B stuff! That Eden’s Children is high on my want list along with their other LP. Super finds! Btw I don’t hear any hum so I think you’re good! Peace ✌️👽
Thanks for calling attention to this particular Stan Webb's Chicken Shack album. The rest of their stuff seems more conventional blues/blues rock but the Imagination Lady has a psychedelic - Cream - Hendrix vibe that's amazing. Going to have to give that some radio airplay here. So many great early 70's albums didn't get noticed! It was before many FM album rock stations were even on the air. It's great much of that is digitally remastered and on the web these days. We are blessed. :)
That chicken shack record is an amazing hard rocker! I'll probably play that on my radio show as well! We are really blessed to have all of this great music available! Thanks for watching ✌☮
Hey man. I love how dedicated you are to finding records, you remind me of a young me. I'm still on the hunt for that Yardbirds lp, it's the only one I don't own. That John Mayall is my favorite Bluesbreakers album, aside from the first one with Clapton. I've seen that Ginger Baker many times but never pulled the trigger on it for some reason. The line up is definitely stellar. The later Soft Machine lps, 3-7, I can't get into. Both Eden's Children records are essential in my opinion. You can't go wrong with any Chicken Shack lps, Stan The Man shreds. Sex Pistols is a must have, I put it in the same category as The Stooges Fun House. Hot Rats is a must have. Great finds. Peace ✌ ☮ 🕊
I didn’t hear a hum this time. If it happens again it might that your phone or camera is on a hard surface. It might be a matter of isolating it from a vibration. Cool finds. i’m going to be on the lookout for that Kool and the Gang.
You cleaned up again! So many great titles. Great job 👏 That Chicken Shack really impressed me when I first picked it up too. That Eden’s Children looks really clean! I’d love to find a copy along with that Root Down record!!!
No way that sexpistols was 3 bucks, what a steal and the other ones you found like kool n gang funk one. Worth going at that hour then. Also I don't hear a hum but if I listened close enough maybe you can hear the air conditioning going but not even a thing imo. ✌🏼 the Descendents are pretty awesome older punk if you haven't heard them yet.
The Sex Pistols was actually $20. I didn't mean to make it seem like I got it for 3, thats my bad. The Kool and The Gang was 3 dollars though haha. I've got one more thing to try for the hum. I'll check out the Descendants! Thanks for watching ✌☮
Great haul!! You are the master at finding deals The Supernatural track on A Hard Road is killer! I picked up both Ginger Baker Air Force albums from an online auction pretty cool 😎 Eden’s Children record is pretty good but I think their first one is better. That Chicken Shack is awesome reminds me of Cream 🔥 Sex Pistols, Headhunters and Root Down all bangers 🔥🔥 Take care Brian ☮️🤘🏻✌️
Thank you! I dig a lot, so deals come at me sometimes! I need to go back to the John Mayall, I know I'll enjoy it. Eden's children needs a revisit as well. Chicken Shack is amazing! Thanks for watching ✌☮
Another great garage sale finds ! That Chicken Shack record album was my personal introduction to the band in 1971, & The Rock sound is what got me hooked. Those guitar riffs by Stan Webb.
Another great dig and haul. As have said in previous post, I jaw drop at what you can find in the US but I guess what I pick up here in the UK would be the same for you in reverse. Example: Finally found a 35 yr plus grail that you may see regular, Hampton Grease Band...Music To Eat. I have had an original A Hard Road for over 40 yrs and picked it up for pennies! Keep up the posts!
Thank you! I get very jealous of some of the UK based vc channels here haha. Don't recall seeing Hampton Grease band, but it also wasn't on my radar until just now, so thank you! I have to listen to hard road again. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Great finds!! Edens Children records are hard to come by, I'm still looking for them, love that Lemon Pipers record too!! it gets overlooked and its great!
Man, I wish my mojo still worked like yours - great finds. i LOVE the Peter Green Bluesbreakers lp. Eden's Children: I think that is their second and more proggy lp. The first one, which was reissued recently, is is psych stomper. I have never seen a Kool & The Gang lp in the wild that didn't look like that cat had dinner on it - for all of its 9 lives.
Haha I hope it still does! I'm gonna revisit the Mayall lp as soon as I can. As for the Kool and The Gang, this is no exception to the cat thing haha. But it plays great! Thise lps were probably often partied with. Thanks for watching ✌☮
I was at Jerry's records today, that same airforce album was going for 15 here. I belive the baker/kuti stuff is zombie jazz....I buy anything from either of them. Yeah I got up early to, grabbed a stack. ....rock on bro!!
Jeez, 7000 records! I'd be salivating! I've got the Eden's Children LP, but haven't played it for years, so don't remember anything about it. The Prune's debut is good, but Underground is the album to hunt down. Both of the Lemon Piper's albums have some cool psych mixed in with the bubblegum. "Through With You" off the "Green Tambourine" album is killer! I posted a great Lemon Pipers TV appearance video for "No Help From Me" which was the b-side of "Green Tambourine", and also a non-LP track.
I was definitely salivating haha. Worth waking up early for! I prefer underground to the self titled as well. I have to pick up the second Lemon Pipers lp one day! I'll have to check out the lemon pipers video! Thanks for watching ✌☮
@@sorinvinyl1523 The later Prunes stuff is so-so, although the Stockholm 67 and Lost Dreams comp are worth grabbing. The Piper's other album is pretty similar, in that it's mainly bubblegum, but does have a couple of killer tracks.
Killer funk finds Sorin, especially for that cheap. The K&TG is a very tough pull, even in the US. I wanted that lp from about 1988 and never saw one. Even here in the UK their early ones were about, especially Live At The Sex Machine but the debut eluded me and I got one online in the 00s but paid £50 and its VG. Root Down, still don't own it and still missing the Roy Ayers and again been looking since the late 80s. Stick with Sure Looks Real, its a grower. At the end of your vid and already forgot what you showed 😊 but loads of great stuff. Again, records and bargains you'd never experience here in the UK. Once you've got your UK OG Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Floyd etc and knocked off some Vertigo, Deram, RCA Neon, Island rarities etc digging gets very tedious here as you look through the same old overpriced records and rarely find a good cheap bargain or off the radar record. Cheers Nige
Thank you! I saw the K&TG one other time and they wanted $250+ for it. I'm on the lookout for their other early releases. Definitely gonna have to spin Sure Looks Real again! One of my collecting goals ks to get all of the UK Beatles records. I'm mostly missing the latter half of their discography as UK og pressings. There is just so much music here in the states. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Agreed, I'm not really hunting the other soft machine records and haven't ever listened to them tbh. Gotta go listen to the Mayall again. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Seriously why would you get rid of the MONO! ANIMALS??? C'MON MAN! GET IT TOGETHER! It's part of the foundation of everything you have ever listened to. Just sayin...
I've decided to keep it, I just hate the cut version of House of The Rising Sun. The organ solo adds so much to the music and it always feels like a let down when its cut out. I also like to keep albums that I listen to and pass them on to people who would enjoy them more! I understand its importance, but what matters to me is the music (which I do enjoy, I just have to listen to it again)!
Love it when that happens! Very nice haul!

Simply put, amazing killer stuff for sure Sorin. The vinyl gods are with you. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching ✌☮
Many thanks SorinVinyl ✌️🤘 glad you got in early on some of the stuff
Thanks for watching ✌☮
That is some great music.

Definitely going to try to put my camera on a soft surface, thanks for the tip. ✌☮

For extra funk check out Roy Ayers soundtrack for the blaxploitation movie called Coffy ! Congrats on the Big Score!
I'll check it out! Thank you! ✌☮

A hard road is my favorite John Mayall, Peter Green is very underrated
I'm gonna have to revisit it. Peter Green is incredible, and I usually love John Mayall. Thanks for watching ✌

We need box sets for everything haha. Thanks for watching ✌☮
Kool and the Gang 1st album is the shit! Nobody knows about it. Funkadelic is the stuff you need✌️🇺🇸
Hell yeah! An amazing album for sure. Love Funkadelic so much! I pick up any album with their name on it. Thanks for watching ✌☮

Chicken Shack is a smoker.
Good scores..Especially the Mayall and Chicken.Shack.The Soft Machine is the last one I liked. They got way too wanky after that

I don't either, I just recieved a few comments about it on my past two videos. None on this one though, so thats a good sign.
