Great selection. Very jealous. One thing though. Did you really say no big hits on Doolittle? I think it’s their best album. So many of their hits are on there: Debaser, Wave of Mutilation, Here Comes Your Man, Monkey, Hey, Gouge Away, but not mainstream hits I guess. All killer as they say. Love your channel.
"and a 1990s dirtbag" 😂 Love Doolittle. Blew my mind completely when a friend of mine invited me to listen to Debaser on his walkman circa 1991 ... I had the poor lad plagued after that ... wasting his batteries by rewinding again and again ..... I'd never heard anything like it. Lovely wee clip at the end. Thanks Bob.
You are finding the goods Bob. I would've grabbed that No Doubt but ha, would be flipping it for bigger fish. Nice catch on the Pixies too. at some point I will be looking to own those originals.
I've got a Doolittle original UK, came with a Doolittle plastic carrier bag for people that pre-ordered and collecting in store. Think maybe it was for Virgin Megastores over here.
Great channel and info on lots of great music. Chris Cornell and Sound garden❤ so good! people have just quit appreciating so very much somewhere down the road since that era. Thanks for an awesome effort and intention to consistently change that ! I am a fan ♥️ 10:51
Really enjoyed this video. Just had a conversation with my wife yesterday over dinner. Started buying vinyl “again” after a 30 year break about 2 years ago. Agree 100% with your take on the 90s being music’s big last hurrah.
I go to that Half Price Books sometimes. Found some good stuff there. Dude, you scored with that Angel Dust. My favorite record of theirs...and Doolittle is a MUST have. My copy gets routine play.
So good to spend some time with you again Bob. It has been a while. Time has pretty much got in the way. Working two jobs, taking care of my mom, etc... Doesn't leave much time for fun things like digging, catching up with the VC and fantastic channels like this one. You showed some real gems. Mostly everyone dove into the CD boom head first during that era. The vinyl section was down to a corner of one of the room at Tower Records. I kept buying them. Nice to see that you did too. The good thing about buying nineties releases on vinyl was the price. Only $11.99 and 12.99 for new releases. You couldn't beat it. You look good. You never age. Enjoyed the editing too. Very smooth. Thank you for sharing it all Bob. It was a definite smile on this Sunday evening. Have a super week and hope to catch up with you again real soon~ Rob/Boston
Bob awesome finds that Janes Addiction and Soundgarden looks amazing that’s definitely was someone that took care of their records . Your timing was perfect you have an amazing collection brother love that Tribe Low End Theory and love that Pixies I grab a couple of Pixies this year. You have a great Half Price Books honey hole .
Nice haul bro very nice I have the pixies Doolittle on the mofi very nice sounding record. All my kids love this monkey's gone to heaven because they heard me play it so much when they were little kids in the car. And yes Depeche mode and Alice in chains to name a few. 😊
Great 90s haul. I caught Cornell live on that tour for Euphoria Mourning. VERY jealous of Down on the Upside; I still need it. I too remember the early 90s fondly (and occasionally miss it). Cheers!
Don't even TALK about getting rid of yer records...loooong way to go before that comes to pass! I have been on the 90's hunt for awhile now myself, brother, so congrats on those excellent finds!
Love those 90s bands. I was born in '80 so the 90s were my teen years. Love it all. I'm working on getting some of these but nice work Bob. Getting them on sale is a nice add on.
I’m 53 I’ve been collecting records my whole life. In the 80s I bought all the Metallica imports as they came out And most of the popular alternative, grunge records of the late 80s and early 90s we all listened to. A lot of metal punk thrash… Got around 1200 records total. Somebody’s gonna be stoked when I kick the bucket and my family donates them to Goodwill😂
I have both The Pixies & Jane's Addiction albums but my Pixies is 4AD English not Elektra. Great records & great finds & Monkees Gone To Heaven was a pretty big hit at the time. I didn't know that Chris Cornell even had a vinyl press. Keep rocking 🎸 !
Hi Bob, I agree with your thoughts on the 90's music output (before media overload). Continued good fortune on finding more records of the same in the near future. Very happy for you, thanks, have a good week!

Along with all the big songs you named its also not a 90s record. 1989.
@@fintanmorgan5337 Haha. Forgot about that.
It is no doubt a fantastic piece from the pixies… yes 1989 I also forgot to say that it’s Direct metal mastered doh!
And Cornell's solo Lp!? OG Down on the upside..... Jeez man. God was smiling on you last weekend
Great pick ups. Ending of the video was sublime. Photo of Ali with those 45’s.
Hi Bob , Nice pick up mate . Also can you tell me where you found your brass skeleton record stand , cheers from OZ.
What great scores. Love the look of that Cornell album. Good on you man. Keep on digging n sharing the haul.
Another great video and thanks for that last synopsis on 90’s music being the last decade for music with a soul
"and a 1990s dirtbag" 😂

Ah the beautiful bastard that is the Walkman ……🤘🏼
Euphoria morning is a masterpiece!
January 1990, Concert Hall, Toronto: Faith No More opening for Soundgarden opening for Voivod. I was tripping balls. What a show.
Damn!
You are finding the goods Bob. I would've grabbed that No Doubt but ha, would be flipping it for bigger fish. Nice catch on the Pixies too. at some point I will be looking to own those originals.
Prefer the live Jane's over the studio albums, having lived through the time.
I've got a Doolittle original UK, came with a Doolittle plastic carrier bag for people that pre-ordered and collecting in store. Think maybe it was for Virgin Megastores over here.
very cool decade of music yeah end of a era before streaming wrecked it all
That’s without a doubt one of the death nails.. cheers Mazz

Low End Theory is a classic!! My favorite!!!!
Super finds, it's incredible how much 90's stuff goes for nowadays, but then again the 90's are (unfortunately) a hell of a long time ago!
Jane's Self-Titled!! ❤ Wow! And @ $70.. Jealous of you

Not better than Surfer Rosa but a fantastic album none the less
I feel one must own both ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

Can’t go wrong with Mike Patton. Have you heard his music with Mr. Bungle or Tomahawk?

Great pickups dude..i especially love that Janes Addiction record

If you're a fan of Faith No More, you should check out the bands Dog Fashion Disco and Polkadot Cadaver.
Love those 90s bands. I was born in '80 so the 90s were my teen years. Love it all. I'm working on getting some of these but nice work Bob. Getting them on sale is a nice add on.
You always find very interesting vinyl. Love the video
Great purchases. I am definitely deficient in 90’s pressings
Awesome haul Bob , envious as hell 😎👌🇦🇺
The year the music died was 1998.
No big hits on Doolittle? Debaser, Here Comes Your Man, Monkey Gone to Heaven, Wave of Mutilation. HUGE TUNES.
Absolutely.
When the hell do they 20% sales
It was Memorial Day weekend . ✊🏼
