I have got to recommend XTC they also did a couple of albums as Dukes of the Stratosphear which is kind of 60s Psych made in the 80s.

Always good to see the more expensive records in a collection. It's impossible to separate the value of a record from the hobby. As much as it's about the music, for better or worse, the value is a massive factor these days. Your collection will only increase in size and you'll add rarer and more expensive records as the years go by. Anyway, great stuff Sorin and enjoy the journey. Cheers Nige
Agree! For me, there is a slight distinction between the music on the album and the vinyl record. While it is 100% about the music, and thats the only reason that I have vinyl in the first place, it is cool to collect and possess some rare albums, and of course only the ones I love! I've sold albums worth $100 because I don't like the music, simple as that. Thanks for watching ✌☮

Sorin, I can see you one day owning your own record shop! You have such enthusiasm and you’re so diverse in your music taste, which is awesome! Fir the letter “N”, check out Nazareth; great rock band from the mid-70’s. BTW, so much wish that I had a Zia Records in north Idaho or at least in nearby Spokane; miss that store!
I would love to own a shop one day. Its definitely something I have in mind. I have some Nazareth in my wantlist, I just have never picked up a copy of any of their albums. Zia is great, and I'm excited to visit again! ✌☮
Very cool video 🔥 I started getting back into vinyl and looked up some of my old collection and was blown away at what some of my records were worth 👀 picked up a copy of Ride the Lightning on Megaforce back in the 80’s so it’s worth some bucks

Absolutely nuttin wrong with liking Johnny Cash. I’m all in with what I grew up with (60’s psych) but he was a great performer. Saw him the year before his passing at the Fillmore with June on board too! Man way to cool! I don’t always show my hand but I have an eclectic collection too. Play em loud and playem often. 🖖🚀
Would've loved to see him! Folsom Prison is one of my absolute favorite live albums. I play my record all day every day. ✌☮

Prices have gone up so much even since I started collecting four years ago. If you're patient, you can still find them very cheap. ✌☮

A recommendation for the "N" category. Bil Nelson and his 1980s output. It's esoteric psych and i suspect you'd love it.

Pretty nice collection of albums.👍 I don't know why, but as far as a first press goes, "Axis Bold as Love" has always been hard to find in the wild, In my area anyway. I bought my VG "Easter Everywhere" at Half Price Books, maybe 15 years ago @ $15. It has the Inner sleeve, but it's not a mis-print copy. On most days, It's my favorite psych album. I liken it to Americana!
Thank you! I have never seen the tri color Axis in the wild. Most of them are on the 2 tone label. I wish I had half price books in my area. Easter Everywhere is a very solid answer for favorite psych album. ✌☮

You have some great records here. I had to pay up for that Pretty Things too, but it was so worth it to have the original. I might suggest a N band for you to try out and they are a progressive band called Nektar. you might try to find a copy of Remember the Future. it's fairly easy to find and it's not expensive. Keep up the Great Record finds!

Behold and see is great. I’ve got three copies, and I’m not satisfied with any of them. Found one that appears near mint and sounds horrendous!

I can´t listen to WCPAEB anymore since I found out their mainman liked his girls underage. You can´t un-know this because you see it all over the lyrics and coverart.
I separate the art from the artist. There are some songs on Vol 2 that are really gross and creepy to me. Vol 1 is just some incredible psych rock. Vol 3 is fantastic as well. Plus Markley was not so much a main man and more of their manager who jumped on stage to play tambourine with them. Theres a really good video on the story of WCPAEB on youtube. I'll link it when I find it. ✌☮
@@sorinvinyl1523 I don´t even know that much about them, I liked a few songs, I really liked 18 Is Over The Hill. I also seperate art and artist (I hate cancelculture) but here I feel like they´re promoting something I think is evil.
