"You Have To Leave Or I'm Calling Police"

  • This audit takes place outside this US Bank location , from the public sidewalk . An individual who came across as a grumpy Santa driving into the parking lot with his window down, began yelling at me asking "what are we doing?" After he parked & began walking into the bank , he was still rambling on about not giving his permission to be on camera...My guess is he is the one who alerted the bank employees inside , because within 5-10 minutes later , I was approached by an employee stating that I was on their private property & threatened to call police . I did offer her the talking points about public photography law that I carry , but she declined as she returned to go back inside . About 15-20 mins later 2 police units arrived on scene . One of the officers approached stating that they got a call because someone was recording , so i asked what was the crime in that? I then highly suggested they go speak to the calling party. On their way out I asked if they educated those who called , but got no comment . As the officers wete exiting the parking lot , I gave them a friendly reminder to use their turn signals & the buckle up on the road. I gave this location a fail for calling police over a lawful activity .

The only people causing problems are those who are ignorant of or who have contempt for the law.
Constitution of the United States of America
      Article 6.
      Section 2.
“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND (emphasis added); and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
And the "Bill of Rights," the first ten amendments to the Constitution are also the supreme law of the land.
U.S. National Archives and Records Administration
      Marbury v. Madison (1803)
      Open quote.
It is also not entirely unworthy of observation that in declaring what shall be the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND (emphasis added), the constitution itself is first mentioned; and not the laws of the United States generally, but those only which shall be made in pursuance of the constitution, have that rank.
Thus, the particular phraseology of the constitution of the United States confirms and strengthens the principle, supposed to be essential to all written constitutions, that A LAW REPUGNANT TO THE CONSTITUTION IS VOID (emphasis added); and that courts, as well as other departments, are bound by that instrument.

I’m curious what priority is being assigned to these calls. What is a typical response time when there’s no screaming or threats being exchanged? It seems like in a lot of these videos multiple officers are responding a lot sooner than I would expect, and it makes me wonder if some agencies are prioritizing auditor calls for some reason. I KNOW it matters whether or not they have a hardon for the subject, because I’ve called in an arson with a suspect still on scene and fire was there INSTANTLY but police gave the guy a solid hour to GTFO because I made the mistake of telling them it was a transient.
Calling on an auditor is like if I worked at a movie theater and I called the police and said there’s a guy on the sidewalk with a Coca Cola, and he’s not allowed to have outside food or drink, so please come make him go away before he tries to bring that in here against our policy. Don’t you think if I made that call the police would either not come at all or come and ask me if I’ve missed any prescriptions that I’m supposed to be taking? Yet they show up every time it seems.
