I'm so happy to find this information and will definitely try it. It makes sense. However I'm vegan, lactose and glucose intolerant , so I use almond milk and no meats fish or dairy...no animal products. This has really improved my health and specially my IBS. My pleasure - yes pregnancy can be tricky with constipation can’t it! Aside from from reducing fibre when constipated, having good fluid intake, moving/exercising there are some gentle laxatives like Movicol that can usually be taken during pregnancy - just check with your pharmacist first but Movicol works to soften the stool by drawing fluid into the bowel rather than irritating the bowel so it is usually a safe option. The important thing is to avoid straining too and you can do this is pregnancy with this position snd technique ruclips.net/video/Tl7HvYoI-5E/видео.html all the best to you!

A wonderful video like always. Over the years I have had to experiment and what I find most helpful is smoothies with lots of greens, and fresh fruit, snacking throughout the day on prunes (very helpful), lots of walking, water, and if necessary mirolax which keeps everything soft.
A natural fiber Isabgol is a life saver to be taken a table spoon daily. The table spoon amount can be eaten in small teaspoon amounts as its light and fluffy and quickly absorbs liquids.
Thanks for this information! I have IBS and though I considered myself "in remission" for years with few to no symptoms, I just recently had a bad bout of constipation that I nearly thought was appendicitis or gallstones. After imaging confirmed it wasn't that (and no help from my Dr afterward) I am left to assume it's an IBS flare up. I finally started having bowel movements without need for suppositories or Miralax, but in the beginning I was increasing fiber based on initial research I read online. I am glad to have come across your videos. I am still having terrible pains in my abdomen, but I wanted to add that IBS caused me to become lactose intolerant. I handled dairy fine for awhile (esp if I took Lactaid tablets) but this flare up seems to have made dairy much more intolerable. I will have to seek more replacement products I guess, but I appreciate all your food recommendations! I'll be going to pick up some IBS-C friendly foods today :)
Im literally experiencing the same exact situation right now. Out of the blue terrible right side pain with bloating and burping that gets worse after eating anything (especially raw foods). Im also definately constipated and my normal bowel movements are not normal anymore. I wanted to rule out appendicitis (cause the pain is right there). The doctors ruled out appendicitis and gallstones and kidney stones but thats as far as they went. Im trying to figure what foods i should eat while being so blocked up and not pass out from starvation. What helped you? I just started taking miralax and magnesium a few days ago and im getting some movement down there but minimul. The few bowel movements ive had have been almost pure liquid where as before they where a number 1 on the chart.
Thanks a billion. I really hope that this video help my little girl relieve her constipation. Now i am going to the supermarket to buy something shown in this video. Thanks again.
I have not had a bowel movement for 4th week! I am so afraid to go to the doctor for fear they will cut out my colon? When do you think it’s necessary to get to the doctor and what kind of tests should a doctor run? I don’t want a CT scan? Had my appendix removed in January and was doing the keto diet. I have always struggled with constipation but not like this? Thank you for letting me know that I shouldn’t be eating high fiber while severely constipated and all the videos you post! Very frightened! Love your how to have a bowel movement with the muscles on the sides! Can’t thank you enough!
It may be sign of another issue that has caused the chronic constipation I got issues and I don't want to go in as well. Let's Us trust God for a healing miracle
Thank you ! I have a stomach virus and then became very bloated and constipated which was very painful. I had not idea what to eat and made the bad choice of high fiber foods which set me back a week . This has happen so much.
Thank you thank you thank you Michelle. This is a life changing video for me. I had no idea that I should stop eating high fiber foods when I get constipated. That could be why I have constipation issues. I would increase my veg, or add legumes. Now a lot of the foods you mentioned to help with constipation do not work for me and bind me. I appreciate you saying that some of the foods depend on the individual. Rice, banana, beef, dairy, cheeses all constipated me. But wow, now I understand what I need to do so thank you Michelle. ❤
Hey Yvette I’m so glad this helps you - yes watch for your individual variants but I’m so glad to read that this all makes sense to you. All the best for future management!
Yes I deal with ibs-c and my gastrologist told me that when I'm really constipated to take 14 caps full of miralax to 64 ounces of powerade or Gatorade (miralax prep) has worked wonders for me aswell I don't stay bloated anymore as much along with a low fodmap diet.thank you so much .there's so many people that tell you to take the higher fiber foods while your still constipated it will make things so horrible.
I have IBS-C as well, but I can control it with 2oz of fresh ground flaxseed (not pre-ground) along with 2oz of prune juice. Change gears to present day: My problem with chronic constipation started with a couple of medications I take that have constipation as a side effect. So my gastroenterologist also recommended taking Miralax but in one capful increments to see what would work but not go so far as diarrhea. The maximum amount I need is 7 capsules daily. It's the highest amount that any of her patients have had to take, but she confirmed that my routine was okay. Different bodies with different issues that affect their constipation will have varying degrees of need for laxatives. As an example, I also am on a low FODMAP diet (read low fiber) that requires me to pay attention to the amount of appropriate fiber I intake each day. I don't enjoy doing that so I know my dietary need for fiber isn't always being met - hence 7 capfuls, to the brim, of Miralax every day. By the way that much Miralax taste awful if it were just mixed in water. I mix it in lemonade with a little extra water. Some folks might shake their heads about using sugar to cover the taste, but I make my lemonade with less sugar, use extra water, and besides, if I need a little sugar to keep my bowels moving, I think it's a fair trade-off. 🙂
I've been quite often constipated lately while performing my low-calorie diet even having regular gym and dance trainings. It was such an enexpected benefit for me to have cheat days with my bf laying together on the couch and watching movies with big pepperoni pizza and some kfc snacks in front of us :) this benefit I've seen the following morning in the bathroom almost every time after those "unhealthy" meals) Now I understand why was that happening.
I am glad I watched this video. I was constipated and wrongly started taking fibre supplements. I will stop immediately. Thanks. I am in UK. So I wondered if I can get movicol overhere
Thanks Michelle. This is revolutionary idea to me. Even my doctors (both primary and gastro specialist) were suggesting me to get fiber supplements like psyllium. I saw in the other video you explained how during constipation high fiber food makes things worse, which makes sense. But even during non-constipation time low-fiber food also has the chance of causing constipation(that's why high fiber was recommended in the first place)? How does that work and during constipation how do we avoid the constipation-causing effect of low fiber food? What is the rule of thumb to distinguish constipation-friendly low fiber food and constipation-prone low fiber food? And are we trying to aim for as low fiber as possible or just a new optimal fiber value which is lower than normal days? Thanks a lot!
Hi great question thank you! We're aiming to consume as much fiber as possible every day as the fiber helps us avoid constipation; it softens the stool and keeps the stool moving (and feeds our gut bacteria) however if we eat too much fiber if we are already constipated or impacted then it just makes the problem worse. In this case, clear out with laxatives if required and then restart gradually with your fiber intake over time perhaps introducing 1 new high fiber food every couple of days. We're all different and can tolerate different quality and type of fiber intake. The goal is 25-35g for most healthy adults to prevent constipation. A diet too low in fiber will cause constipation so its a balancing act. Hope this helps & all the best!
Gastro are actually not educated in constipation and hypertonic pelvic floor. In fact, neither are OB Gyn’s. I finally got educated by a Urogyno. During exam, I about came out of stirrups. He said, I’m sending you to pelvic floor therapy! Finally, somebody who gets it!
Hi Julie, I'm really glad this helps. I think on some occasions (definitely not all) the same advice is given out to everyone, not everything works for everyone. From my own experience it's a matter of trial and error and learning what works best for your body. I've taken the pearls of wisdom from dieticians for what does work for me and when other recommended things don't work I let them go. All the best to you, let me know how you go if you have time
Garlic is on the no list for IBS and causes bloating and gas. Wow! Dairy causes constipation for me. I know everyone's body is different. It's like you say the opposite of my doctor. I was afraid at first that beans were on your good list. Thankfully you admit those cause constipation for most people.
It’s crazy that the gastro nurse today said my grandmother needed to stop drinking milk and eating bread and pasta. But add mirolax twice a day, a fiber supplement everyday and a probiotic everyday for the next month!
My problem started years back with not being able to completely finish and years back I started using water enemas, but I tend to take forever to get done. I really want to get this fixed. All drs want to do is give drugs to cause diarrhea.
I don't ever feel bloated or constipated but I don't always go to the bathroom daily. I eat a lot of oatmeal and fruits and vegetables though. I know potatoes constipates me. I don't eat meat or dairy. I do eat my own saurkraut and kambucha and take a probiotic and get monthly colonic. I do think I need to eat less fiber. maybe juice more.
I'm constipated all the time haven't had a bowel movement since Saturday just gone. But I sometimes have to strain and push it out. I want to enjoy my food and get no pains etc. Diarrhoea and constipation. On and off. Everything I eat or drink I get pains. Had everything done and nothing everything in my stomach is OK and normal. But muscles in my stomach are weak that's what they wrote in a letter. Just keep saying for me to eat really small portions of food.
I have diverticulosis, and was told just the opposite. Because I never have what is considered a normal bowel movement, I go from super loose to construction in minutes. But I don't go as rapidly from constipation to diarrhea. I have been researching holistic treatments, like wild lettuce or other things like this ( wild lettuce is actually for pain, depression, and anxiety).
Your videos are great help, thank you. I just had one question, when constipated and bloating would fruits and vegetables not make the bloating worse? Thanks
@Michelle Kenway hi Michael, my name is Anwar. i have a constipation issue since 6 months ago. i had eaten a lot of salad like iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce plus a lot of fruit like apple, banana etc, but it seems do not working. what is the safety laxative you may recommended? thanks for the reply.
Hi Michelle, from personal experience I’d agree it’s vital to drink plenty of water everyday as this has a direct impact on your bowel as well as your bladder. I have been hospitalised many times with severe constipation but have been free of this for the past 5 years. I have picked up some useful tips. I take x2 movicol daily. The moo thing still helps! Many thanks. 🐮 🤣
Hello there High Ten! Yes it’s interesting how we have to learn along the way isn’t it! Being in a wheelchair means you can’t move to stimulate your bowel which makes it tricky doesn’t it. Movicol is a good solution and can be taken safely ling term. Have you used abdo massage too? I hope you’re doing ok - I see Dr Fauci says things are likely to get worse before getting better, thinking of you!!
@@michellephysio Thanks so much for the reply. Yes it’s amazing what we learn even when we least expect. Just noticed the Rice bubbles! Same as our Kellogg’s Rice Krispies in the UK.
Hi, for the past week or so I haven't had a regular movement. So far 4 days without any. Was taking that orange flavor fiber drink twice per day, but I stopped that, also stopped taking stool softeners yesterday. Bought the generic laxative that contains Polyethylene Glycol 3350 in powder. Once per day, not more than 7 days it says. Since last Sunday (5 days ago) all I've eaten is one bowl of vegetable beef soup, with two pieces of white toast. One with peanut butter on it, per day. Was also eating a type of corn flake cereal with "crunchy toasted oats with honey", out of the box, no milk. Also just bought Raisin Bran with granola clusters and raisins. Are the granola clusters to be avoided ? The last thing I want to do is to contribute to the blockage. Any advice ? I'll start taking the laxative later today.
@alan osterman __ speak with your doctor or pharmacist if you’re really constipated. Polyethylene glycol is an osmotic laxative that relies on drawing water into the bowel so make sure your water consumption is adequate. Check with your pharmacist on the dosage as often more than 1 sachet a day is required (for example Movicol up to 8 sachets per day with constipation). Prune juice, pear juice, cooked vegetables without skins, fruit without skins avoiding granola with high insoluble fibre at the moment until the bowel is cleared. Something like cornflakes or rice bubbles is a better option when constipated and then resume more fibre intake when the bowel is cleared.
@@michellephysio Hi, thanks for response. The product I bought is called Clear Lax, from signature care, from local Jewel food store. Last Friday 6pm took first time. Then at 10 pm had to go. Not excessive amount, half solid half not. I never had any abdominal pain though. Then on Sat. Tried to resume reg eating. Had hot turkey sandwich with dressing, then Sunday at 10 pm again had to go. Still half solid half not. Maybe I wasn't as constipated as I thought I was. One thing that is bothering me is, at my lower right front, where the appendix is, and where the small intestine joins the large intestine, sometimes there is a lump there, that I can push up with my finger tips and I hear a squishing sound, as the lump gets smaller. This happens when I'm on my feet out for a walk, or even doing dishes. I think the bottom of the large intestine is like a pocket that collects the refuse and it's kind of hard to propel it vertically as it should be moving. Any thoughts on this ? Thank you.
@alan osterman sometimes hard stool can be felt in the large intestines through the abdominal wall. Best that you check with your doctor to be sure about what you’re dealing with Alan, it may be stool or other, just get checked to be sure.
My wife and I are finding these videos very interesting, I suffer from IBS going from constipation and diarrhoea, mostly diarrhoea, this week I been suffering from bad constipation and your video have helped sort it thank you. Have you done a video about the amounts of each sort of fibre? We didn’t even know fibre could affect your bowl this much. Would you recommend equal amounts of insolvable fibre and solvable fibre? Or or of one or the other? Thank you for your time Lewis
Having chronic constipation these past 3 weeks or so. Very worried, the doctor has prescribed me some medication though. Yet to have any affect, have to be patient, i suppose.
So how would you do a laxative clean out and which laxatives would you use? I want to use the best kind of laxatives b/c in the usa they put weird ingredients in some of these laxatives that may be harmful to my health. And after the laxative clean out how much fiber is best to reintroduce on a daily basis?
Hey Lulu these foods are reasonable for preventing constipation but won’t necessarily fix constipation when you are already constipated, the quinoa in particular has higher insoluble fibre that doesn’t break down in the gut so it remains as waste
my constipation can’t deal with any type of bread, it instantly goes so hard and ughhhh i just can’t so i cut off that, biscuit and baked stuff except for meat pie with surprisingly didn’t make me constipated
Me too! I dont normally eat white bread but I fancied some toast and ate a whole loaf in 2 days. I am now very constipated! Never again! I love white bread tho!
Hi, I have a couple of questions. When someone is constipated already. Is lactose free milk good or bad? Also coffee. Is it better with or without caffeine? Thanks
Hi, i did some research about coffee last time i was constipated and if you are used to coffee, it's fine. Just be mindful that if you have a blocage, it may cause acid reflux and coffee is known to exacerbates this because of it's acidity, but you still can take a little and it may help with movements.
@Timothy Lee It really depends on what is in the smoothie. If you are constipated already I would suggest low fibre smoothie. Milk, yogurt or ice cream with lower fibre fruits such as watermelon, papaya, peaches, plums or cantaloupe. High fibre smoothies can increase constipation if you’re already constipated.
@@michellephysioThanks for your input. If already constipated, is spinach a good choice for the smoothie? Or what vegetables do you recommend for the smoothie? Or combination of fruits and vegetables? So are you saying that fruits like oranges and berries are not good choices to cure constipation?
Hi Jeremiah this is a really good question! I just checked the research on slippery elm and there's nothing to date proving that Slippery Elm alone overcomes constipation so I wouldn't take it for that benefit alone however I can't see that it would make things worse either. As for metamucil, the psyllium husk which is the major agent may bulk and cause gas when you are already constipated - I would choose Movicol or Gavilax when constipated and then Metamucil (or plain psyllium husks which are more economical to buy) to keep the bowels moving well. All the best
@@michellephysio I once read some comment on RUclips we’re someone swore by movicol and they took for impaction and it cured them. I’ll have to try this but I don’t think it’s sold in USA I did find it on Amazon however
For me white rice constepate me more i also got Cileac disease and extreme food allergies especially to fruit and veggies i used to eat bread all day with chocopaste and 1 hot meal and had no problems with consatption but afther Cileac diagnosis i had to stop eating bread so i went for glutenfree bread but then it started the constaption i tried every glutenfree bread there is but all the same constant constaption then i cut out bread and ate lots off fruits veggies and potatoes meat but then i stared getting dry nose and still constaption so i can't eat fruits and veggies eather so idk what to do anymore im now trying the mono eating cleanse by the medical medium the banana one but still constaption but there are some inprovements in my bowels like way les like foamy fluid that come with my bowels but still very bloated and constaption so i wil just try eating brown rice and chieken for a while see how that goes

A very good video ,but meat & eggs didn't make sense to me as protein hardens stools ! White rice does that ,too ,we should eat white rice when we have diarrhea to give stools more consistency, harden them. This video was a very good video reg.people having stubborn constipation !💜🥁🐉🎤

I find that too much fiber is my problem. Most say 25-30 grams per day but it depends on how much you eat as well. I usually only eat 1200-1500 cal a day. I found on the internet that it says 14 grams of fiber for each 1000 calories you eat which is more helpful than the automatic 25-30 grams/day
Tell you to watch sugar so if you see bananas that’s got sugar in it I know it’s natural but it’s not very good if you are diabetic or things like that and they say so I can add bananas I canna mushrooms I was thinking when I watch the last programme or somewhere along the line and watched it you can’t up these things either because I’ve got my IBS and I thought I can’t see anything so I keep watching trying to make myself get it right in the head but what I can eat what I can’t eat and sometimes I get constipated sometimes but I eat food I have raspberries blueberries and has a very small trifle with strawberries in it and mix it in or I love ABBA car which is better at the car if I haven’t got one in I have to make do what I’ve got thank you for your help I spelt
@Jess Kan not unless you have an intolerance to gluten. Gluten isn't a cause of constipation in individuals without gluten intolerance/coeliac disease. All the best 🙏
Does this work if someone has IBS with chronic constipation? Even on a low fodmap diet I am pushing out bowel motions with my hands. I haven't tried your moo method yet.
I can't have dairy products because it makes my ibs worse , stewed plums are good for constipation , Marmite don't eat too many bananas as will give very lose trots, fibre doesn't work for me and too many eggs can make ibs worse , peppermint tea is good for easing tummy pains if you are lactose intorance stay clear of milk and dairy like me as it can make your ibs worse and gives nasty tummy pains . Take notice of what you can take and what makes you bad keep notes of foods that makes your ibs worse . If you are like me can't have dairy find dairy free products . That's my advice but it is up to you what is good and what makes your ibs worse .

@Dashka Enhbat you're most welcome! Hope this helps your little girl relieve her constipation- Best of luck! 🙏
It may be sign of another issue that has caused the chronic constipation
I got issues and I don't want to go in as well. Let's Us trust God for a healing miracle
Thank you ! I have a stomach virus and then became very bloated and constipated which was very painful. I had not idea what to eat and made the bad choice of high fiber foods which set me back a week . This has happen so much.
Well I hope this helps you Monica, ease back to fibre slowly
Can you please do a video on constipation after gallbladder removal?
Thanks, Pam from Michigan.
Thank you so much Michelle. I did just what you warned against, correct, made it worse. I'll let you know how this program works out.

Look forward to hearing how you go Dave, please keep me updated
How are you now?
Yes I deal with ibs-c and my gastrologist told me that when I'm really constipated to take 14 caps full of miralax to 64 ounces of powerade or Gatorade (miralax prep) has worked wonders for me aswell I don't stay bloated anymore as much along with a low fodmap diet.thank you so much .there's so many people that tell you to take the higher fiber foods while your still constipated it will make things so horrible.
14 caps full? I take one cap to start snd then a half cap thereafter
Agreed that’s a decent trade off! If it allows you to drink the medication then all good
14!!!!! Did you mean 1 each day over 4 days?
So true, thanks for the nuts part very helpful- going for a plant based diet👍
Thanks so much for your advice
Michelle you are brilliant! Thank you🌹
@Marian Stephen my pleasure - Oh thank you for your kind words! All the best🙏 ❤️
I've been quite often constipated lately while performing my low-calorie diet even having regular gym and dance trainings. It was such an enexpected benefit for me to have cheat days with my bf laying together on the couch and watching movies with big pepperoni pizza and some kfc snacks in front of us :) this benefit I've seen the following morning in the bathroom almost every time after those "unhealthy" meals) Now I understand why was that happening.
this is so helpful. literally the exact opposite of what i thought was the best foods to eat to avoid constipation. thank you for these videos!!
@Elaine Cho you're so welcome! I'm so glad you find this helpful. All the best! 🙏 💖
the best advice yet, excellent it all makes sense, thanks billions

Thanks for this video, this method is helping me so much. I'm very close to having normal moving stool.
I am glad I watched this video. I was constipated and wrongly started taking fibre supplements. I will stop immediately. Thanks. I am in UK. So I wondered if I can get movicol overhere
Hi! Do you have any suggestions for foods for constipation caused by lactose intolerance?
@@michellephysio can we use laxative while breastfeeding? My baby is just 3 months old. Please reply
Thankyou 🎉❤

You're most welcome Ranisha! ❤️
I love your videos, very helpful, thank you
So glad!
Thank you so much for this video. It's been really helpful for me. I've had wrong advice from professionals for years here in the UK.
All the best to you, let me know how you go if you have time
Thank you so much 💓 💗 💛
Glad you like this!

Garlic is on the no list for IBS and causes bloating and gas. Wow! Dairy causes constipation for me. I know everyone's body is different. It's like you say the opposite of my doctor. I was afraid at first that beans were on your good list. Thankfully you admit those cause constipation for most people.
Very good advice! Thanks!
My pleasure!
Thank you! You are amazing!
So glad to help you!
Ugh! I’ve been hitting it so hard with beans over the past 3 days, and am absolutely so bloated and miserable today!😩
Rip
Beans help me a lot lol
Omg same here thinking it was gonna help me with my constipation ... :/
Lmao I tried that once.. lesson learned. I find alternating oatmeal, rice and prunes help me.
It’s crazy that the gastro nurse today said my grandmother needed to stop drinking milk and eating bread and pasta. But add mirolax twice a day, a fiber supplement everyday and a probiotic everyday for the next month!
Thank you for that
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜,
My problem started years back with not being able to completely finish and years back I started using water enemas, but I tend to take forever to get done. I really want to get this fixed. All drs want to do is give drugs to cause diarrhea.
Absolutely
Thank you🙏🌸
I don't ever feel bloated or constipated but I don't always go to the bathroom daily. I eat a lot of oatmeal and fruits and vegetables though. I know potatoes constipates me. I don't eat meat or dairy. I do eat my own saurkraut and kambucha and take a probiotic and get monthly colonic. I do think I need to eat less fiber. maybe juice more.
See how it goes Zeno - perhaps juices are a good temporary measure as a trial?
Great video
I'm constipated all the time haven't had a bowel movement since Saturday just gone. But I sometimes have to strain and push it out.
I want to enjoy my food and get no pains etc. Diarrhoea and constipation. On and off.
Everything I eat or drink I get pains.
Had everything done and nothing everything in my stomach is OK and normal. But muscles in my stomach are weak that's what they wrote in a letter. Just keep saying for me to eat really small portions of food.
I just mashed steamed carrot with garlic and tuna fish and hoping for the best lol Thank you for sharing!
Please try kombucha it worked for me years ago when I suffered from diverticulitis.
Your videos are great help, thank you. I just had one question, when constipated and bloating would fruits and vegetables not make the bloating worse? Thanks
@Michelle Kenway hi Michael, my name is Anwar. i have a constipation issue since 6 months ago. i had eaten a lot of salad like iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce plus a lot of fruit like apple, banana etc, but it seems do not working. what is the safety laxative you may recommended? thanks for the reply.
thank you michelle
My pleasure! Glad this helps you
This is so interesting!
I’m glad you found this interesting Miriam! Hope it helps you
What is the use of the gallbladder removal?
Fiber helps to push everything through the bowel. Probiotics and drinking water also help with these issues.
@@michellephysio so movicol can be taken for years or mirlax?
Best that you check with your doctor to be sure about what you’re dealing with Alan, it may be stool or other, just get checked to be sure.
its been happening only for like 3-4 hours and I can't do this anymore thank you but nothing is helping but I will try your video thanks! :) :(
My wife and I are finding these videos very interesting, I suffer from IBS going from constipation and diarrhoea, mostly diarrhoea, this week I been suffering from bad constipation and your video have helped sort it thank you.
Buckwheat and quinoa are good for constipation?
Hey Lulu these foods are reasonable for preventing constipation but won’t necessarily fix constipation when you are already constipated, the quinoa in particular has higher insoluble fibre that doesn’t break down in the gut so it remains as waste
@@michellephysio very true.
my constipation can’t deal with any type of bread, it instantly goes so hard and ughhhh i just can’t so i cut off that, biscuit and baked stuff except for meat pie with surprisingly didn’t make me constipated
Me too! I dont normally eat white bread but I fancied some toast and ate a whole loaf in 2 days. I am now very constipated! Never again! I love white bread tho!
Is psyllium husk ok to take for constipation? Thank you
Yes J just don't take too much as it can cause gas - stick with 1-2 teaspoons daily and lots of water
How do I know when to stop laxatives?
Pls post Testosterone increasing food also
Hi, I have a couple of questions.
You da best!
I will avoid junk food bc it really makes me constipation soo.... help me Michele!

If you are badly constipated, can you drink smoothie to help clear your constipation?
I eat all these and a gallon of water a day, I'm still constipated
Hi Michelle , when I’m really constipated is it still ok to drink Metamucil and slippery elm powder ??

I'm suffering from too much fiber in my diet because my doctor advised me to increase fiber sit to constipation. Now on a stool softener but it's such a struggle to get it right. I don't know what to do
miralax and prune juice
I syay constipated and misetablely bloated. I drink a cup of prune juice heat it up for. 1 minute only. Remove from microwave. Stir. Drink 2 cups coffee or hot tea or plain water. After you drink the prune juice. This should work

@@reggieix9516isn’t that fiber ?
I find that too much fiber is my problem. Most say 25-30 grams per day but it depends on how much you eat as well. I usually only eat 1200-1500 cal a day. I found on the internet that it says 14 grams of fiber for each 1000 calories you eat which is more helpful than the automatic 25-30 grams/day
I’m vegan so what do you recommend vs no beans as that is a big part of my diet.
Should be stay gluten free to avoid constipation?
@Jess Kan not unless you have an intolerance to gluten. Gluten isn't a cause of constipation in individuals without gluten intolerance/coeliac disease. All the best 🙏
Does this work if someone has IBS with chronic constipation? Even on a low fodmap diet I am pushing out bowel motions with my hands. I haven't tried your moo method yet.
It's hard when you are prediabetes as my blood sugar spikes with these fruits
I can't have dairy products because it makes my ibs worse , stewed plums are good for constipation , Marmite don't eat too many bananas as will give very lose trots, fibre doesn't work for me and too many eggs can make ibs worse , peppermint tea is good for easing tummy pains if you are lactose intorance stay clear of milk and dairy like me as it can make your ibs worse and gives nasty tummy pains . Take notice of what you can take and what makes you bad keep notes of foods that makes your ibs worse . If you are like me can't have dairy find dairy free products .
