    Context: Constipated for 4 days.
    This helped me pass some gas. Heard gurgling. But still haven't gotten anything out other than the gas. I'm on a second loop of this video, so approx 27min into doing this. Is giving some relief but was really hoping to get something out already. I'll keep doing this and give more feedback tomorrow

    This worked immediately bowel wasnt moving even with laxative but this massage did it in 2 mins 🙏 thanks alot

    I’ve been taking medications that caused me to have constipation and the past few days have been miserable. I tried doing this and took a nap after, and woke up being able to poop. I think doing this coupled with eating fruits, staying dehydrated etc really helped. Thank you! Will be doing this more regularly.

    I haven’t passed stool for 6 days! It’s been so bad that I have even been vomiting because the food had nowhere else to go. After this exercise I literally cleared my system! Thank you 😊

    Hi Michelle! Thank you for this video. I've been having constipation lately and I am doing my best not to take any laxatives. I just tried this technique for 8 minutes and it actually worked. You're the best!

    I have been constipated for several days. And have been dealing with gallstones. So I ordered some milk thistle and last night before I went to bed I took three of their tablets. And after sleeping all night, I woke up and started doing a constipation massage. Between the milk thistle and your massages I was going to the bathroom within 35 to 40 minutes Relief at last. I can’t thank you enough. It really works again thanks so much.👍👍😃 relief at last💩💩👍❤️

    I LOVE MICHELLE!!!!! I only wish I would have known about POP a LONG time ago and found her videos..especially the Moo to Poo. I even told one of my friends about it and she swears by it now too!! Michelles videos give you so much information and her teaching style is right up my alley.     The video was very helpful. I just had back surgery but it was done through the anterior view. I sometimes have problems with a “sleeping bowel” after surgery due to anesthesia and pain medication. I sure do hope the yoga works . Thank you for sharing.

    After a terribly botched appendicectomy I have been struggling for yrs to find comfort on my bad days. I usually try a warm compress or a hot bath for stimulation. This was very very helpful . I’m going to try this with olive oil once a week.

    I find doing abdominal fascia skin rolling technique(grabbing a pinchful between your fingers and thumb of your skin on your abdomen and rolling them through your fingers until you feel a crunching sensation and working your way up and down until you have done this to all your abdomen muscles) first before doing abdominal massage helps make it easier for your hand to slide over your abdomen for steps 1 and 3. Only takes an additional like 20-30 seconds. Certainly helps me cause my abs/pelvic floor are always in a knot.

    Good morning from your friend in Idaho. Thank you again for more valuable information, well presented, with a lovely smile. A couple years back I had a surgical repair for a traumatic shoulder injury. The narcotic pain relievers caused me some issues with this. The only advice I was able to find at the time was to use stool softeners, and other things such as that, and to drink lots of water. This could have been very helpful then, and I will certainly remember this technique if ever I have this problem again.

Yes agreed, I've experienced this too in the past as have many of my patients suffering chronic pain on opoids or pain relieving meds that cause constipation. Often no preemptive info supplied on the effect of these meds on bowel motility and hence constipation often making individual suffering worse. I'm glad you got through your injury OK, and I hope knowing this technique is of perhaps of some benefit for you or those in your care in future. I know I've said this before too K, I really sincerely appreciate your comments and support, hearing from you and ressuring me that this is in fact potentially helpful in your life is what matters most🙏💞

    OK I just did a massage and I’m gonna continue to do it for another 10 minutes wish me luck because I’ve been using enemas and I’m getting just a tiny bit out but I need to empty my bowels because it’s been days and days and days so I’ll report back.       @@michellephysio thank you so much for responding to me. That was very nice of you Michelle. My name is Michelle too. I definitely think the massage techniques are helping, but in my case with somebody that has severe constipation for many years, I might have to refer to some laxatives. They have already put me on the medication Linzess and it worked for a little bit and now it has completely stopped working. I have used a saline solution. I filled myself with 11 bottles of water. After the first solution was put in well altogether, it was 11 bottles and I still got barely anything out and I’ve been doing that a few different times and each time it’s just a little very little bit that comes out so I’m gonna have to talk to my doctor again because I take Suboxone which severely plugs me up. But I can tell this massage technique does really help and thank you for sharing again. Please take care of Michelle and may you be blessed.

      @janekasdan3050 Hi Jane, really lovely to receive your comment, thank you so very much for taking the time. Yes rectocele can be so limiting can't it, I usually use the osmotics (eg Miralax) but not too much so as to make the stool top soft so getting right stool consistency is a big factor for management. These can be taken long-term without issue for most people. Active magnesium powder/tabs is also great.     I like to do it around my large intestine about 5 mins and my small intestines for 5 mins. Is that not ok to do the small intestines?

      Hey there @naturegirl4074 I think it's most helpful to keep the massage to the large intestines (at this stage at least until more research is perfomed)- shift this area and the contents of the small intestines will then have room to move and hence promote motiltiy that way, sort of like clearing the end section of a long pipe if that makes sense?

      Yes that is fine! Sleep won’t harm your stomach. Just make sure you hydrate before you go to bed!

    Is it OK to do it next to your hip bone or should you stop at the top of the hip bone

      @naturegirl4074 hi there gorgeous woman, great question ... I suggest stop at the top of the left hip bone for 2 reasons: 1. the large bowel doesn't travel horizontally across lower abdomen so no real benefit 2. I prefer not to apply pressure over the low abdomen, why? again good question, simply not comfortable for many to apply pressure directly over the bladder/lower abdo pelvic organs that sit in the low pelvis. Only on the last step down to the midline low abdome diteting the stool towards rectum. I hope this answers, I haven't read not to do this so my perosnal reasonings only, let me know what you think too ...

      Question... I have a very small trunk... Basically when I put my palm in the area to start above the pelvic bone, I can already feel the lowest part of my ribcage. Any modification suggestions for this? I only am able to go once a week or so, and it isn't uncommon to go 8 or 9 days which is obviously pretty uncomfortable. Thanks so much for your help!

    I am compacted i can feel the hard lumps in my bowles. With your masage the hard balls break loos and then i have to remove them with my fingure. Three days only small bits come away. Pain in

    I'm glad I came across this. Sure. We'd like to ask a couple of questions. Don't don't do if comments are still being reviewed... I recently had his direct to me and Bladder.       @naturegirl4074 this is the ascending colon (large bowel) region. I'll preface by saying always check with your doctor re abdo hard areas. Having said this, if it's a constipation issue, extra focus on step 2 circular on that R side and then shift it up and across to the L side with step 3.       @@luciferteaparty try taking a laxative. If that doesn't work then you could have a blockage in your small or big intestines which need surgery. But try a laxative, after that try eating fiber foods stay away from fatty foods n sugar foods for a week drink many of water I mean a lot

      @user-fj4fz1zq4x hello there, avoid abdominal massage after abdominal/pelvic surgery.
