An underrated album, that is guitar driven more than people think.
@Joe M. The guitar by far is the predominant instrument here. I've been playing guitar for 50+ years and this was always about the guitars to me. Probably the most arpeggio related riffs Alex has done on one album. To each their own, individual styles and tastes.

I agree. In 1984 many folks were more concerned about Nuclear War than about just living and reaching full potential in Life. In contrast, the Van Halen album "1984" was about enjoying life and pretty girls.
one of my favorite Rush Songs among many! Listen to Grace Record sometimes just to hear this song!

Great song ,great song writing .....best band in the world,Kurt the lead guitarist of Metallica couldn't believe they were a 3 piece band the first time he heard them.they had so much sound and said they were a big influence on him. Hey even some of the bands today say the same, foo fighters the singer for smashing pumpkins,and many more, radio is the ones that wouldnt help them,exception being maybe Cleveland.but we rush fans new how great and talented they were, you will not find a better bassist. Guitarist and last but least a drummer as good as this trio. I play guitar myself ,i,ve seen them over 20 times possibly 30 times over 30 something yrs and to watch Alex play is something to watch if you play guitar yourself. You know how great he is all 3 are the most underrated band of all time.i put them up there with the Beatles and the Stones.
U can't even put those 2 groups in the same conversation w Rush . Rush's intellect and insight are so above the 2 groups u mentioned.. I can't even say the 2 groups u mentioned because they are not worthy of carrying Rush's equipment on to the stage. Rush rules ..
