Jimmy's finding the joke. He just wants to make people laugh even if that means he looks like a twat. There's no malice in his words or his act. And with that wit of his, I love his crowdwork. I liked this, too, because a lot of what he said did genuinely feel like it was from the heart and it was Jimmy talking to the audience for parts of it rather than his stage persona.
I admire the bravery Jimmy takes to include the audience like this. It is inviting chaos to your set and thinking you can navigate out of it with improv

I do open mic standup and I live for hecklers. I go somewhere in my head. It hits a chord in me. I eat em alive. Usually I get a laugh. Crowdwork is my jam.
I've done standup quite a few times now but I'd love to have a go at this kind of comedy like Jimmy Carr & Al Murray do where they bring in that audience interaction, even if it goes horribly wrong I think it'd be an interesting experience

The best thing about going to see Jimmy live is that his extensive audience involvement is not rehearsed and if you want to you might be able to participate. That makes him unique among comedians
The interview with Jimmy on Diary of a CEO was very interesting. He was surprisingly likeable and very intelligent with very broad knowledge of many topics and great insight. His humour is right on the edge though.
Iam from switzerland and sometimes i have some trouble to understand the british stuff but i really like the radical open humor. Its getting lost everywhere but not here. Also It's just so interesting how jimmy is such a wonderful human beeing if you see podcasts of him where he is not acting. Truely someone special. I hope to see you live once too :)

Growing up in england i have watched this guy blossom into a great comedian. Cant say that i never had my doubts about him back in the day, especially with shows like "your face or mine" (think that was what it was called) Think i may go see this new show of his tbh.
