- I set this fantastically eerie track to clips from a movie called "City Of The Dead". The movie had just the right amount of 1950's production corniness and yet seemed to fit the mood of the song perfectly. Another one of their terrific songs, RUSH's Witch Hunt deals with fear, persecution and the public rush to judgment that has historically occurred. Thank goodness those days are over...

I think it's more a comment on mob mentality. These days are far from over.

I cut my teeth playing Bass to Rush and Witch Hunt was my favorite especially hearing Neil on with the drum roll at 2:37 after "confident their ways are best"!
Of course anyone who knows and understands the relationship between the bassist and drummer are essential and special. 👍🏻

It's part of human nature. Sure, there are those that rise above the "mob-rule" and "hive mind" mentality, but one only needs to look at world events in modernity to see that these types of scenarios are happening all the time; they just happen now with different circumstances/nuance and conclusions.

Ironically, no cases of burning at the stake ever occurred in Salem. In fact, there are only three cases in history of such monstrous activity.
Untrue- far, FAR more cases of burning, historically. But hanging always outnumbered burning. But yes- in Salem, it was hanging, not burning. And pressing (i.e.- crushing) with boulders a senior citizen man named Giles Corey. How ... Christian of them.

Fantastic Job !! I have been listening to this since it came out and this was BY FAR the most haunting version I have seen yet - including DVDs of Rush playing it live . I don't believe I have seen it live for real. I did see Red Sector A , live in Detroit one year - WOW , creepy as hell. also - some of the other fan videos - like Manhatten Project and Count Down are awesome too.
