      So screw the ford GT huh? The GT, Raptor and Police Interceptor all share the same engine. The only difference in the engine is the cams an tunes. Now you seem to fail to realize boost is the replacement for displacement. That way you can still have power an fuel economy which everyone wants.

      @@tmrdarkstar85 So the best option is buy the old Raptor with the 6.2 V8 and put twin turbos to put the little V6 to shame in the New Raptor. Problem Solved. If you want fuel economy don't buy a Raptor to begin with.

You can’t just see a spot and jump the hell out of it. You have to run it a few times, hence why the big boy trucks use prerunners to get coordinates and key terrain areas.

    New one is so sexy looking, prefer the V8 over the ecoboost though. I do get that some people might prefer the older one, I got myself a low mileage 2011 Dodge Challenger over a new style 2015+ because I prefer the simpler setup old ones vs the high tech feel of the new ones.

    At time mark 12:00 you can add more oem upfitter switches in that pocket. I installed some in my 2010 f150 platinum. you can use it as a pocket to throw stuff in there but I utilize it for upfitter switches.

    • @406Steven
      @406Steven 5 лет назад

      Not to mention how you're at the mercy of all of that technology. If any piece of it goes wrong it could strand you or leave important functions of your truck inoperable. And that stuff is not cheap to replace.

    Mike you are right around 12 mins in that the dash is symmetrical. It lowers production costs for right hand drive models in other countries. Not everything is going to be reversible but they're going to make as much as possible. Less R&D and variant manufacturing.

    I love everything about the new Raptor except the motor Why didn't Ford just throw a turbo or a procharger or a supercharger on the V8 it's a truck I don't want a V6 in my truck even if it's faster the exhaust note doesn't match the truck🤔🤨😖😔😢

    • @wilhathaway1987
      @wilhathaway1987 5 лет назад

      The modification they would have to make to the truck would take away for what it was made for. Plus you would be adding another 10 to 15k to the price

    Thanks for the review, Mike. It's rare that any manufacturer these days makes a *new* vehicle that is worse than the one it is replacing. There will always be the purists that want their pickup to have a v8, but, as Bob Dylan said - "The times, they are a-changin.'" I'd own a new Raptor in a heartbeat.

    You can throw in the reliability argument also. The EcoBoost is known for timing chain issues and turbo issues. The 6.2 isn't really known for any issues.

    I have to say the Blue Raptor appeals to me more, The truth is a Truck is for driving and not worrying if it gets dirty, muddy and covered in Bulldog slobber. Then again if it is in need of a valet you only have to park it near Troy and he starts twitching then grabbing his buckets.
