The 6.2 was just outdated. A 5.0 is quicker than the 6.2, and the high output eco blows both of them away when it comes to performance. I would have loved to see the 6.2 with a 10 speed, I also think they should still have a v8 as an option for the raptor

Yes, I agree a Raptor and a Duramax play well together when they live in the same garage as mine do. My Raptor actually got a ride home from the dealership on a trailer pulled by the Duramax when I bought the Raptor back in 2013. (I live 2 hours from the dealership it came from and with a trailer you don't need a lift.) My raptor is a Roush, which I highly recommend. Regretfully one thing that shows their compatibility in the garage is the locations of the batteries to allow jump starts with Duramax on the left and the Raptor on the Right. As for the Raptor I currently have 112,000 miles on it. It has been to Maine, DC, Texas, California, Washington, and Harrisburg multiple times. I have yet to get a ticket driving it but I have been pulled over multiple times including by the Secret Service in DC. The first officer (State Patrol) who pulled me over was actually more interested in looking at the truck and whether it would pull his boat rather than my speed.

Mike: buys completely new truck
V8 is so much nicer than V6 in my opinion
Dumb opinion. 3.5 is faster, tows more has way more torque and with cat less down pipes and exhaust it sounds like a turbo diesel. So... in what way is the v8 better? Lol.
DanAaronWhite lol sounds nothing like a diesel!!
Oh so sound is why you buy an engine. Gotcha
Also I have a 3.5 with full exhaust and yes it sounds like a 6 cylinder turbo diesel. Dumbass.
@@DanAaronWhite i dont care about facts. I was juts saying what I myself prefer
And yes, sure, I have Asperger's but I dont see how having a different opinion to you makes me / us mentally challenged
Not because it's a Ford, but because you need to start having some action videos. I'll be watching Cleetus or even John Doc has been killing it lately, lots of action.
great truck choice! Raptor is like an answer to stuff we have been doing to half tons for 50 years.
My dream truck is a marron and black ford raptor its a beauty that hotweels Camaro there's a dood down my street who has one suck a beautiful car
I had a 2013 raptor 6.2 and loved it. then I traded for 2017 hellcat . I would never my a raptor with a 6 in it, needs a v8.
just think of what ford could have had if they would have v8ed the GT
Stfu grandpa
zniper assassin fuck you respect your elders
ARE YOU PLANING ON TURNING IT INTO A VELOCIRAPTOR
🤔🤔
@street speed 717
I find the door chime useful. It only does it if you leave your headlights on or if the keys are left in the ignition
You definitely want the stock wheels man. The bead locks are real on them. You just have to remount the tires correctly to use the bead lock portion. They’re fo fo bead locks. Go get those tires remounted and the beads locked on em. 💪👌😎
You don’t get the sound of a v8 in the 720
Why not it is a v8
The 720S has a V8
A terrible sounding V8 is the problem.
@@goldenratio7260 really, you think so in person? Mike's car is so loud and throaty plus the turbo noise it's nasty. If you haven't heard in person it's hard to understand video does no Justice
Golden Ratio that’s your opinion but I think it’s dumb I like it
I bought an f150 with the 5.0 today buddy
Micah Gavlock ME TOOOO!!! lol
I want too... I have a 5.4 3v not to bad
@@nickgg Good engine, just pray something doesn't go wrong lol. Everything on the 5.4 is so expensive!
Joshua Ebanks Header cracked... to cold to fix yet!
@@nickgg We dont have that problem in florida, never too cold here 😂
*If I was FORCED to own a Ford pickup, it would HAVE to be one just like Sendit Steve's*
Me too but I do like the raptors
I agree
I have a 2015 F150 with the twin turbo v6 and I get 14.4 mpg on average. It doesn’t sound as good as a v8 but with catless Downpipes the turbo sound is insanely loud and awesome. I’m personally not a fan of the previous generation of the raptors.
you need to buy that Raptor and keep it long term, always wanted one as well. common Mike we live vicariously through you!

Mike is now on the dark side
Man. The Chevy dealer by me has 2 2019 Silverados and they’re base models. Wtf!
Come see us!
Sewermonkey69 dealerships can request a vehicle transfer from a different company other than their own I know the Chrysler dealership filed a few and now they have brand new cameras and mustangs on the lot
My information is at the top of the page! Contact me we ship!
I freakin love the Raptor too. From the outside I can't even tell old vs new, and I would definitely opt for the V8. Those trucks are SOOOO cool. First time I've been truly jealous of one of your vehicles. Enjoy the truck Mike! Hope you keep it for a long time!
They really should give people the option and let the sale number speak for themselves. I own a 2014 Raptor Super Crew that I bought at 8k miles and have had a blissful 109,600 miles. It’s been in the shop for simple/regular maintenance and has been built proof as a daily driver. The Corsa Exhaust is the best!! Love the color Mike! Mine is Silver and that was my second choice. I wanted Black but my son said “you can’t see the sticker” in Black :)
