They also need to step on the dealers that are trying to impose stupid mark-up's. With that said, it only works if the buyers who can afford it, stops accepting and paying it.
Good video as always X,
Let’s hope we have a new administration that gets rid of these ridiculous CAFE standards so American car companies can get back to building profitable vehicles that American customers want to buy. We are already seeing the bloodbath in the American automakers.
Hey Dodge ! Play Stupid Games - Win Stupid Prizes ( Bankrupt ) Comes to mind
Yeah not even close to my price range! Well guys it was good for while RIP Dodge
They’re gonna need discounts to sell a respectable amount of these
Just a reminder before you buy any Stellantis products that Carlos Tavares who is the CEO made $39 millions last year in salary.
Well it's official. Say goodbye to Pontiac 2.0
Nvr was
This car will be DOA at that price point Corvettes n stangs being way cheaper.
Not for long.
@@Ledman301 My local Chevy dealer is discounting brand new Vettes 10% off MSRP right now don't see Chevy and Ford getting silly with price.
The Trailhawk would’ve been the one that I’d go after because I don’t need 3 rows. Excellent video. 👍👍👍
well, guess who just lost a customer to a fords mustang. Tf are those desicions? Who buys Dodges without V8?
Exactly. V8 are an integral part of being American. Ford is the last company in the US still making V8s.
@@Adaredevileggand GM. Lol. Corvette, CT5, Trucks
I am a devout gearhead, open to electrification. I spent the money in April 2024 to get the updates on the 2025 Ram 1500 REV to be a "club member". As of now I have never received and update, called twice and talked to their "special" REV Center. Still nothing, that is sad and that is a problem. I am not suffering, as I already have two beautiful vehicles that I sat down and ordered for myself at my local dealer.
Something tells me the people who love the new new, and not the people who really love cars are going to make these things sell out. Thats why they are giving the 7500 tax credit on lease only, because thats the target market.
That's crazy talk! 100k for a DODGE EV, nuts. Dodge will meet Ford's fate. Losing money hand over fist. Love ur info.
Even Tesla is cutting prices in chunks! $100k Dodge EV is doomed from the start. WTF!
Stellantis is done, cooked, smashed to bits, buried, back to depths of hell, roasting in the 7th Circle. These fools won't sell Chrysler back to the family.
Until they go back to their core competencies, bring back the Hemi with more power and reliability across the board, they are finished.
Insanity 10X
99.9% will not by those EVs and you are not losing your mind...they are.
Dodge is Falling off 🤦🏼♂️
id never even consider buying one. reason? my pockets kinda empty right now lol
Still with ya dude, don't let the comments get to you.
This is a darn shame these are not Scat Pack’s not even a R/T they really killed that beast of a motor this is just an expensive vacuum cleaner
Don’t get it wait let the inventory pile up force the manufacturer to discount 12-18k in rebates and then allow dealers to discount them as well too so we can all get great lease deals
Having influencers(like yourself) drive and test these cars is the BEST advertisement Dodge could ever do.
And it basically costs them nothing.
I put my order in day 1... at the same dealer I got my Hellcat Durango from & they actual are allowing me to use Employee Pricing!! Can't wait for mine to come in
Low desirability.
Why are you wasting yours and our time covering Dodge...? No one cares!! Sorry you bought one racer x... but let's move on.. Dodge is going to have to completely burn down before it can be built up again.. If someone truly wants a fast EV they can buy a tesla...
EV’s are dead, and I guess so is Dodge! Quit wasting your time talking about EV’s!👍
I actually wouldn't mind getting a Daytona R/T but not until I could configure it for the color I want, eliminate the sunroof that lets water leak into the electronics and wait a year or two until it's proven the design is reliable. This is a complete new technology and it galls me that Dodge isn't paying ME to be the first one to get it, especially with all their engineering staff being laid off for cost cutting measures. If they tossed in a 10 year, 100k mile powertrain warranty I'd consider the launch edition, but without that, I'll wait.
If and i mean IF i were to buy an EV for 100k it surely wouldnt be a Dodge. It would be a tesla plaid X which is faster and has more range. Anyone who pays that is out of their minds
I’d buy a Taycan for this price. 😂
@Megatron797 yes that too lol
@@Megatron797 You mean a used one after the first sucker took a 100k hit buying it new? NOt sure what planet you're living on where a new Taycan is 100k, that is the 'base model price' and anyone who knows porsches know a few options practically doubles that number before you go to a trim worth owning.
They are pricing these vehicles out of Touch for the average person. Will be forcing people to look for cheaper alternatives.
It's time to move on from dodge brother...obviously they're trying their hardest to get rid of die-hard car guys... let pookie and ray-ray have it.
Always informative, brother, and thanks for all you do. Put this '21 Hellcat owner in the "Never a performance EV" column.
Also these fools can’t even sell the last call models that are actually v8s which ppl love. They literally have widebody scats with 10k off in my area sitting since freaking Christmas
I'm 54 and been a mopar fan all my life till recently, I want nothing to do with the crap stellantis is doing now
Always appreciate the heartfelt content from a true car guy.
We as the enthusiast buying public have to vote with our dollars.
If the buying public is silly enough to pay these inflated prices, we can't put the full blame on the often greedy dealer. After all he/she is in business to maximize their profits.
I've always seen Dodge as a brand that made muscle cars for the working class, I guess not anymore
The Stage 1 R/T and Stage 2 Scat Pack should always have the free performance upgrade and not just the 2024 model year which availability is soooo limited on the Dodge Garage HP Locator. And not spec’d for the customer.
$100,000 for a scat pack is ridiculous. I don't care what horsepower has or anything about it. You are correct the demand will not be the same as the older cars. The horsepower locator is a stupid gimmick. Wait until the dealers get 25 or more cars on the lot and then go look at them and make a deal. The whole hype of chargers and challengers was back in during Covid when things got short and with the last year, coming up in 2023. All the hype is over. Those cars are gone. Dedicating a whole RUclips channel to something that doesn't even exist anymore is also a bit silly.
Name calling just shows how low someone will go.
I know you really like Dodges, and that's great. I really miss your fast Mustang builds.
I will just say you really got me hooked with all the Mustang updates that were a lot more realistic for car guys.
So, all your videos for a while have been all Dodge stuff that I know of.
Guess I like watching builds and runs, not the latest, most expensive cars coming.
As hard as it is, definitely don't speak of negative people in videos. I hear enough of negativity.
Have fun, buddy, and enjoy the time we have left with cars of today.
Heck, my wife has been liking the newer Chargers. I told her, "Dodge is stopping production....
Maybe some light mods to the Demon 170, and street cruising videos. I could get into that!
I’ve watched the prices go way up throughout the years. Scatpacks went from 45k to 60k and now 115k. Stellantis is Completely pricing core fans out of the brand and its sad to see.
im very curious how much the sixpack is going to cost. that will make or break dodge i believe
RacerX, youre helping me to keep am open mind about all of this EV stuff. Although Im not a fan of EV's, I will atleast see what it has to offer
If a dealership in a smaller, out-of-the-way town only gets one car to sell...there will be one guy in that town willing to pay overs for it so he can be "The One."
No WAY this thing is going to sale !!!! Good job and we injoy your videos and info 👏
I'd be interested to drive a 2025 scat pack just to see how it really feels, but doubt I'd ever want to buy one at those prices especially.
Does the configuratior allow you to spec out something you want -like a V8?
JUST SELL A KIDNEY TO BUY ONE
