I saw a British artist (Louise Jannetta?) do this with string and large sheets of tissue paper a while back.
She said she was making paper lace.
That seems simpler to me rather than sewing.
    It’s ALL interesting!

(I didn't get the chance to finicshe this the first time, so i just came back to finish the video. Sorry for the delay!! But you are FANTASTIC to watch craft. It's just nice to watch your process. You clearly know really clever techniques, you aren't stressed about doing anything "perfectly", ... it all makes viewers (well, it makes me) feeel less self0critical about potentially "failing" at this, ahd also makes me feel more ready to get creative with my own styles; you ddin't decalre "needing" to do any particular thing, which just opens viewers (okay, again, speaking for me, lol) given a kind of permission to immediately make it our own.
That seems like an overly in-depth explanatino of my personal experience play-by-play, but it's all just meant as a compliment to you for your style. Giving readers TONS of tools, creative energy, and directions that reduce the volume of our negative self-talk? Just really a wonderful experience for any crafter. You have a gift in MANY areas and are so talented in your crafts, across the genres

Mine is going into a botanical altered book and I have used a couple of the pages that were removed from the book so it keeps with the theme. You can use an exacto knife or any sharp object to punch through the holes, however I wanted a shredded look to my paper edges, so used my fingers. Nice idea but I think you need to give more details about the stitching: did you go over it, how many times, stitch length, type of thread, etc. The stitches look thick and substantial so I presume you went over them? This is an important step of the process so not an area to gloss over. Thanks for posting 😀

Thanks for the compliment 🥹🤗 I’ve never used Aliexpress and I’ve only used Temu once for stamps. They work really well but arrived late, they gave me a $5 credit which was nice of them but Amazon has me spoiled on shipping speed. 😊
