Thank you for your videos!! I love your ability to think about, 'What if I do this?' and you do it!! So many of us are not as free thinking, soooo... thank you for taking that step forward for us!!
FUN FUN FUN 😍. I 💕 love tracing paper. I figured a way to coffee dye them. I lay pages out and spray the coffee or food color and don't touch them until thoroughly dry. Thx for sharing this project 😊😊😊
New favorite thing! I've always loved tracing paper, but never thought of using it this way. I also have been sewing again lately. Ha, ha, grandma would be proud even if we don't sew straight! Thank you Sooo much for this inspiration! Beautiful as usual!
I enjoy sketchiing on tracing paper and now I know what I can do with those sketches! Love the way you just go for it and end up with such wonderful creations, and better yet you share those projects with us. Thanks!
Thank you so much Michelle, I really really enjoyed watching you create those awesome pieces of ephemera and I really really love ❤❤❤❤ them all. I hope you have a wonderful walk with your puppy and I will be having a go at these too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Wow! Your sketching is just super. Love sketching also to quiet the mind and love it but never thought to do it on tracing paper. Thank you for the I spiration 😮
Inspiring! Appreciate all of your instruction, tips and freedom to let my creativity flourish. Including better ways to store and collect my scrap stash.
These are so beautiful - these gorgeous colours put me in mind of Braque/Picasso early cubist works. Solid inspiration for some sketching of my own methinks! And the adorable dream-noises from pup!! Poppy (my cat) was softly snoring in her basket on my desk this morning while I was working... don't you just love them?! Thank you for sharing your art and time, it's been a restoratively peaceful half-hour with my lunch :) XXX
Great ideas! I keep practising my sketching with you - but if it helps others, I recently found a coffee cup duster stencil of leaves (that resemble yours) by The stencil store uk - via ebay. This gives an outline which can be filled in and/or coloured as preferred. Now I am off to cut up some tracing paper! Thanks for showing us!
I would love recommendations for books used for reference of flowers. I waste so much time looking for references pictures or books . You make it look so easy . Thank you for video .
At 23:16, she gives you two options. 🥰 But, you can always Google "botanical sketches, illustrations, or drawings." It gives you reference for books that you can buy online. I haven't had good luck finding any at thrifstores. Also, you can use the images as inspiration. There are so many to choose from, and you can always print them on coffee dyed paper. If you need them for a quick project, if you don't have a book on hand. ☺️ good luck!
I think you can't go wrong with any Edith Holden books - or just pick something small growing in your garden or local park. Practice is key! Good luck!
I am gonna come back and sketch with you. I am not a sketcher but simple like this is something I will try. I love the look. Question? What type of pen are you using . It looks like a regular black ink pen but I would think that would tear tracing paper so I’m thinking no. Also what ink do you use on your other papers. Just as I was typing this you just said pen and talked about pencil but did not tell us what kind except that it has to dry
I love tracing paper however, it really isn't cheap. When it gets wet it stretches and gets larger. I dye mine sometimes. If you're going to get it wet, do it first and then make your project. I wish I would have know this earlier lol.
I can’t sketch worth beans but I can trace with the best of them. It ends up for me looking like I sketched it and that’s all I’m going for really. Love your ideas. Thank you.
I have acquired paper and don’t know if it’s tracing paper or vellum but it wrinkled when gluing. I have papers no it in packaging and can’t tell what it is.
You might not be able to sew straight but you sure can cut straight with scissors!! 😮 I can not for the life of me cut straight lines without a paper trimmer 😢
Thank you for your videos!! I love your ability to think about, 'What if I do this?' and you do it!! So many of us are not as free thinking, soooo... thank you for taking that step forward for us!!
🎉! I got some clear acrylic desk top drawers from Amazon and I had a blast cleaning up my desk!
FUN FUN FUN 😍. I 💕 love tracing paper. I figured a way to coffee dye them. I lay pages out and spray the coffee or food color and don't touch them until thoroughly dry.
Thx for sharing this project 😊😊😊
That's a great idea! Thank you 😊

Aww thanks so much. So happy that Millie is with me. Even though she bangs the camera. 😂 she is a delight!
Nice
WOW! Loved it! Thank you!! LOVE your experimentation mentality!! GORGEOUS creations!!
Thank you so much 😊
*Very* clever and effective. Would love to see what you could create incorporating softly tinted or water colored tissue paper. Subscribed.
I could try but tissue paper doesn’t like to get wet. But there’s only one way to find out!
Love the "antique vibration"😅 sending best wishes 🌿
Haha thank you 😊
Amazing

Greattttt idea for the me the newbie. I would like to try some color any suggestions
💜
What do you do with all your projects ? I love them!
Love this idea! Just came across yr video. Since I've got oodles of old book pages, tgetes no excuse not to try this . What about using Vellum????
I love tracing paper however, it really isn't cheap. When it gets wet it stretches and gets larger. I dye mine sometimes. If you're going to get it wet, do it first and then make your project. I wish I would have know this earlier lol.
That’s interesting. I’ve never paid much for tracing paper.
Since I don't sketch very well I'm thinking🤔 it's tracing paper and I can trace things...😊
What is the stamp tool that you applied the ink with?
You could stamp the tracing paper instead of sketching.
You might not be able to sew straight but you sure can cut straight with scissors!! 😮 I can not for the life of me cut straight lines without a paper trimmer 😢
Haha not me. Close up nothing I do is strait 😂
