So...Lori illegally allowed her mother and brothers to move into a house she didn't own...they set the house on fire...then get mad because the college fund your dad earned and saved to buy a new house. Lori is lucky your dad didn't have her arrested.
He also had to pay to get his ex evicted.
As I suspect Lori had a key, since she was a part-time resident, technically she has a right to have visitors over when her father isn't home.

Many states view underage minors as objects under ownership of whichever parent or guardian they reside with, and as such they wouldn't actually have right as tenants of said residency
Last story. OP's father OWNED the house before his ex-wife and sons trespassed and squatted. And Lori helped them do so. Therefore, she had no rights to that college fund. And she had some nerve to demand her father to split the new house 50-50 when it was her siblings who set fire to the old house. Nevermind if it was an accident. They had no business monkeying around with fireworks.
I don't blame OP's dad losing all trust in his daughter.
And I don't blame OP for not trusting her either.
I wonder how accidental, the house "accidentally" burning down was.
Especially given that they knew that they were being evicted.

Agree. Although it was the twins being unsupervised for the fire I blame Lori 100% because if she hadn't of let her entitled mother move in it would never have happened. Don't blame for not trusting Lori - Entitled Daughter for sure.
Story 3 - It always amazes me how people demand things you own, and if you say no, demand a reason.
How about this...convince me as the owner why instead of demanding a why not. You aren't owed it at all.

Kinda related to the projector story: had a buddy who had a sister who can never take no for an answer. One day she asked my friend if she can borrow his Sega Saturn and some games to take to a sleepover. He said no, his Saturn was modded to play imported games and he had a number of expensive japanese games. She kept asking, he kept saying no. She whined to her parents, they sided with him.When she went to the sleep over she took the Saturn and a bunch of games. He demanded tham back she said no, that she'll bring them back. 2 days later she comes back and it turns out she lent the system to the brother of one of her friends. He demands she geta it back, she refuses. He calls the cops. They show up and the sister is frealing out. Parents say they're staying out of it. Cops tell her to get the Satern back or be arrested. She spent the next hour calling around trying to track down her friend's brother. He got his Saturn back and she started accepting no
I'm disabled, so when I was able to get to the grocery store (am homebound now,) I would wait in the seat provided upfront for a cart if all of them were taken. It's the way it is. They don't always have enough carts so you wait. You do not chase other people down, assault them and demand they give up their cart. If you can actually do that, you probably don't need the cart anyway.
Last story , Op your dad could have taken Lori and his ex to court for arson and child endangerment . This cost your sister her college fund but your father's ex could have been asked by the insurance company to repay them back .NTA
1-The prestige would have been a smear of it's former self. 2-Mobility carts aren't for the old, they are for people with mobility issues-Jeeze. Nope, hambeast will just keep eating until their heart explodes. 3-ugh. 4-Lori played stupid game and won stupid prize.

I had someone leave a nasty note on my car because I did not leave them enough room to get into their passenger side. THEY were over the line in MY parking space. I had managed to squeeze out of my car but I guess they were fatter as well as stupid.
Most places the can be ticketed for improper parking may even br towed.
*Story 1-* We have assigned parking in our complex, and for some reason someone was parking in our neighbors parking spot. And the worst part was they were parking so close to the drivers side door, my hubby couldn’t get out!
My hubby’s a well-built man (😏), and we have a mini-copper, so it was hard for him to climb out of the other side.
Other than the assigned parking rule, you’re also not allowed to back into a spot. And our spot is next to the wall! So we can only scoot over so far… So, no matter how close he parked next to my man, he kept having to climb in through the other side.
Eventually, my hubby and our neighbor found out who the dude was and he got in big trouble from the two of them. And we haven’t seen him since 😉
I just love the second story, the reasons for the injuries made me smile, thinking of my brother doing similar things.
Blocked car door story: I wonder if she got the hint?
Yeah, don't sign over half the house unless you want your mom and half-brothers living with you as well as Lori. Hopefully though, this won't be a problem for a long time to come.

“Hambeast” I’m not surprised. Heck I’ve stories where customers have gone shopping using their own PERSONAL scooters, only to have Karens come up and demand them, refusing to believe it’s personal property and not a store-scooter.
It’s like the only thought in their heads is “I want it, therefore it’s mine now”.
Last story: dad has made his will. I’m not a lawyer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if older sister can’t sign a binding agreement about something she doesn’t yet own and that violates the will and intent of the actual owner.

Last story - Lori is luck she's getting anything at all after the stunt she pulled and what her brothers did to her fathers house and then her mother has the balls to demand OP signs a piece of pay giving her money she doesn't deserve.
OP's dad had every right to take Lori's college fund because she pretty much deceived him and was the cause of the fact that the twins were there and started the fire. Also I'm surprised his ex-wife didn't get the kids taken away because what she did was basically stealing a house using her children as tools into doing it. On top of everything unsupervised her children with fireworks.
i was in a Super Market once i didnt see it happen but a woman's water broke and she slipped on the floor after her water broke and hit her head on the hard floor . the person she was with was telling the EMT people she still had another month tell the baby's due date
I'm a huge fat guy and I find it painful to walk (Post operative issues) The more I move the more painful it becomes. I don't use the motorised carts in stores, or get a disabled parking permit because I can walk (just not for very long) I am on a form of benefit/welfare that is one step below Disability benefits. If I ever get so fat I can't talk without breathing heavily I would want to be put out of my misery

1:40 When that happens, you simply clip your keys onto your waist and walk in between the cars with your keys on the side that the other person's car is on. Scratch the hell out of their car but do it in a way that makes it look like it was unintentional and you were just trying to get into your car and it was because they parked so closely that the hip that your keys were on happened to scrape down the side of their car while you were trying to get into yours.😂
Once when I was getting out of my car I door dinged a truck who had parked over the line, the owner asked me why I did it and all I said was "your over the line" and walked away

Parking - I had a neighbor like that at my old apartment. I’ll call him Mr. North because he was mostly north of us.
Mr. North would be quick to complain to the apartment manager any time someone parked too close to his car. But he and his guests were horrible about parking.
I still don’t know exactly how they did it - maybe someone else came in after I’d parked. But my car was parked properly … and somehow all of his guests were stuck looking at their poorly parked cars trying to figure out how to get out. I think they accidentally blocked themselves really. 🤣🤣🤣

Heck, because of people that Park in Fire Lanes and Disables Spots without a Placard, I have my Cities Parking Enforcement on my cell's Speed dial...(My Parents are Disabled and I'm becoming Disabled due to Osteoarthritis so I have no tolerance for people that abuse the spots the Disabled need)...
