In other words, "So what if we're so popular that the line grows and people start complaining about waiting to check out. It will all balance out as we start to lose sales and return customers."
Many years ago when I did work retail I would hear that, or the famous, "I'll never shop here again!" I could only think, 'Well, lady, you never shopped here before, so we won't miss you.' Or another, "You're going to miss out on a big commission!" 1. We didn't get commission, and 2. Even if we did, it would be worth it to not deal with some people.
The other aspect is that he taught a Karen a lesson, then sent her out into the wild where she was stuck in a car to stew over it for at least the rest of the day... longer with people who'd mock her too. So I call that a win-win.
