I would have just took a screenshot of my sheet of work that I'm supposed to be doing and compare it to the other ones and send it to corporate and show that I'm being abused by the manager. And that they need to send somebody under cover and look at him for maybe abusing labor laws.
Telling someone to do twice the work within an eight hour shift is worse than bad management. If management wanted everything shelved within an eight hour shift, then those stocking the shelves should not have had to unload trucks. Unloading should have been assigned to a group who specifically unloads trucks, freeing up the stockers to only stock shelves. Stockers' only responsibility would then be bringing freight to the floor and stocking their section(s). Then and only then, when they finished their areas, they help anyone needing the help.
Last story even without the flooding that would've been a nice chunk of change replacing all those GREEN drives with BLACK drives not counting the time and labor involved with the change
That one with the freight. Oof, I had a super similar experience, that only started happening after I refused to change my availability that would let me replace my supervisor. I still have pictures of all the work I was being told to do. I quit that job and moved to another state.
