HOA's should be outlawed. I have a family member that just sold their townhouse - closing is in 2 weeks. A few days ago they received a letter from the management company stating their storm door, storage shed, and back fence were never approved and must come down. With HOA permission the shed was put in over 20 years ago, the storm door was installed in 1993, and the fence was there before they bought the house! Now the HOA is claiming there is no file of permission and threatening to hold up the sale and while they can appeal, there is no meeting for 45 days. Naturally my family member is upset - nearly packed, movers scheduled, apartment rented in new town. HOA's suck.
My townhouse HOA put approvals, for a while, in the newsletter. While the boxes and boxes that were passed along at one point someone said there was nowhere to store them! But even if they’d taken the stuff to store I can imagine someone not seeing the need for newsletters😇 After a management company insisted I take the a railroad tie wall down, it took me a decade to want to fix it. I put up a stone wall without permission because the wall is on the plat and the docs say you can replace things like that. I was at the entrance at the front and the change made everyone comment how it improved the whole community look. And when the one ARC started to object that it wasn’t approved, 2 of the board asked he what was he going to do about it, make me tear it down? He backed off as we were selling anyway!
Definitely attorney time. Those items are listed in the property description for the sale. The buyer can drop out with cause and get their ernist money back..possibly with penalties. Shed and storm door, perhaps not a big deal to them, but a fence could be a deal breaker. It would be for me if I had kids or dogs
The other day I was in CVS and the allergy medicine I wanted was in a locked case so I was looking for an employee. I saw someone in a nearby aisle putting away greeting cards and went to ask them if they could help me out. I said "Excuse me," then when they turned I noticed their name tag said Hallmark instead of CVS, so I apologized, explained that I thought they worked for the store, and left to find someone else. It IS possible to make a mistake about someone working somewhere and not double down on your error.
Remember, Only YOU can choose not to purchase in an HOA. Also you don't ever have to join one either. Last but most importantly thier rules often violate state or city laws so know the laws. State and city laws overrule anything the HOA tries.
yea but some people are cowards and just sign to avoid the peer pressure... I know personally, I would likely post pone it as long as i can and hope they forget about it, because i hate paperwork and hate dealing with fees and all that
So a couple of weeks ago, my friend, and I were traveling through a city, he spied a Wally World, and just had to stop for munchies. I got as far as the entrance when I had to sit down, broken body tires fast, but my friend continues into the store, I waited there. That was my mistake. Karen came up to me demanding I find her an electric cart. Check to other entrance I said, being friendly. But that was the wrong answer, Karen yelled at me for being lazy, sitting down on the job, and capped it off with get me your manager. I stood up, walked through into the store proper, turned around looked her dead in the eye, and said, Welcome to Wally World, get your sh*t, and get out. I thought she was about to have apoplexy, when my friend came up, and said to me, Come on Walter, I got snacks, and out the door we went. Thank you, Jeff Dunham
Story 2 - you DON'T give up sugar. At all. Lactose (in milk), glucose (in wheat products) & fructose (in fruit) are ALL forms of sugar. What you give up is a specific type of sugar called sucrose.
Good afternoon, all! Hope you are all having a great day! Enjoying all your stories today as usual, thank you for sharing them! I'll catch more of them in the morning!
Grocery store books story: Imagine that, a Karen that actually realized she was in the wrong for once, even if it did take a few tries. Diet story: Soooo many foods have some form of sugar in them. It's difficult to find things without naturally occurring sugars. The trick is to find foods without the ADDED sugars. HOA story: Yep, someone on a power trip thought they had more power than they actually did. Voluntary or not, I wouldn't join any kind of HOA.
I love how it’s always the lazy disrespectful Karen’s that accuse everyone else of bein lazy and disrespectful and questioning their upbringing. They don’t wanna look in the busted shards of their mirrors.
Why do people talk about a baby like an object and just call them "Baby"? I guess they dont act like more than an object that young in life, but still.
Of course, they can. And Karens have been embarrassed many times. But it takes standing up to them each time. And if they touch the employee or customer, press charges. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Karens don't think like that

Thanks for sharing RedWheel hope you are well. Please stay safe.🏴😁😷👍. Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead everyone
I’m pretty sure I’d scare any Karen that dared assume I work somewhere into oblivion
Just threaten a lien on their soul and you are wanting to collect.
These people don't have souls.

I love catching up on the old vids!
I knew last story was gonna be a hoot once we got to the "volunteer HOA with no dues" part.
Here go with someone in HOA board member go too time and thinks the power
The only way to respond to a Karen's "Excuse me!!" is to reply "Why? Did you fart?"
I like to say "there is no excuse for you"
Low Carb diet...works...and you are not hungry. Food choices might be limited but it works. 60lbs...off
So, voluntary HOA? No such thing. Neighborhood association more like. Who paid the original lawyer, the first to complain? Glad he has deep pockets.
Good afternoon everyone and RedWheel 😊
Hope everyone had a good Monday 😊

Can a Karen truly be embarrassed ? I don't think that Karen's have embarrassment chromosome that would permit them to experience that sensation.
Of course, they can. And Karens have been embarrassed many times. But it takes standing up to them each time. And if they touch the employee or customer, press charges. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
🔥🔥🔥🧙🏻♂
Karen is the Emperor
Karens are Palpatine-lite!!!!!😂
No such word as boughten. The past tense of buy is bought. Just bought. No boughten. Just bought.
Story 1 "boughten" you should have puchased a dictionary instead of inventing a word that does not exist,
It's pretty unlikely that the person who wrote the story will ever see this video, let alone look through the comments of it.
Oh the irony. Perhaps you should check a dictionary before commenting.
@@heatherw916😂
@@heatherw916 No I should have just "proof read" what was written before hitting send.
Every word is made up by someone.
When a Karen says excuse me...why doesn't anyone say there is no excuse for them.
I'd say "Why, did you fart?"
Or the favourite answer..
I did the second time I saw you. The first time I was too busy laughing.
